The materials are not the best as the left side can make creaky sounds when you press on it.
Obviously can't compare to a flagship device.
I like that there is no glass back, though.
For the price, nothing to complain about.

The back is is plastic and needs an protector, because it's loppy. Overall it feels good.
The phone is made of plastic, which I subjectively prefer. Even though build quality is excelent I would recomend some kind of protective case.

before buying I was a little wary of the quality of the material of the device but when you put it in hand you really realize that the cell phone is premium quality

The Honor 20 Lite has a solid of strong metal frame around the rim, with a hard plastic back. The phone looks nice, but the cheapness of the back plastic become apparent when you tap on it.

It feels really good on the hand
Kind of heavy compared with the Mi A2 but looks like a premium phone
definitely a very high quality feel. it is like a better version of m9 with larger battery and nicer colors, while not being a lot heavier. i think xiaomi is differentiating itself from redmi in that it'll use higher quality materials and quality control and it shows on my devices. some take-apart videos from china also lends support to this.
Very good quality in the hand, feels that the materials are really premium, however, in the back, the sound feels a bit hollow when touched. On the front, the screen has a light oleophobic layer that helps to clean it, although it seems somewhat improvable.

I one year of my usage of the device, it has gotten some small scratches in the lower back, since that's the point of friction due to the higher than surface camera cluster.
