I had been using Nexus 6P for 3 years. Now this Honor Note 10.
but I am disappointed. the recorded video quality is not upto the level of 3 years old Nexus 6P.
Now I rooted my Note 10. I wish if the quality of recording could be improved some other way
Hi,
There's no improvement to expect.
Even if your phone is rooted and of someone comes out with a custom ROM for this device, I don't think this will improve camera unless Huawei releases blobs for that part.
But no manufacturer does so. And Huawei most probably not...
I don't care that much but bad camera and really bad battery life makes it a no go for me.
Regards.

looks great.. howveer, zooming while recording could use some work for faster adjustment and less bootleg look at full zoom.
My Find X arrived today and the 4K stabilisation has improved a lot over what I had seen on youtube prior to the latest update. I decided to install Open Camera and see if that did a better job with 4K and it definitely does. It is still not as good as the OnePlus 6 which is odd as they use exactly the same camera and are owned by the same company.

Having a lot of fun with the motion tracking, which basically lets you focus on an object/ person and the video will keep it in focus throughout the recording. Also time lapse and slow mo are decent enough. You can record up to 4k @60fps. Additionally it can record in H.265 which is a nice feature. Another decent feature is the anti flicker feature which supports displays up to 60Hz. Essentially allowing you to record screens without those annoying lines.
Overall quality is good, great even. However given the price a little uninteresting. In the short time I've had the phone it has yet to fail or crash, so that's good. However keep in mind you're not paying the price for the camera in this phone. It's for the performance. So the camera should be of decent quality and not something to blow us away with.

The autofocus works at times then others it does great. Video quality is wonderful.
The only issue is that u have reached out to Huawei and have gotten no response about the real time multi instance segmentation. I have gotten no response and no one is able to find any updates on it to say when we will get it. And it takes away from the value of the device
The quality of the pictures is really good. Likewise, video quality is good.

https://youtu.be/0xYyiLF5Cck 4k60 sorry it's not some pro shoot setup, I was at the zoo and thought the seals were cute ?
Considering how bad of a setup this is, dirty glass, reflections, water refraction, it did really well. Lost focus one time but that's obviously because it's trying to focus on the glass, it's incredible it focused so well most of the time.
Hi,
interested in this particular phone.
Does any users of Mi 10 Ultra have tried to use "Filmic Pro" or "mcpro24fps" for making videos? Does these apps let you to use 24,25 and 60fps at the 4K res? What about additional camera sensors - do they see UW, 2x and 5x zoom lens?
Thanks for any comments!
