You need to install the usb recovery drivers. They are on the advent/pov websites. I assume there the same as your tab.
i cant access my tablet because i have usb not recognized error i want any alternat method to flash my tablet rom like sd card or usb drive thanks
no one solved my problem any idea if i use usb to serial cable or usb to lpt cable
You need to sort the usb driver issue. That will solve your problem. As far as i am aware flashing the stock rom with any other cable is not possible.

Z17 Lite won't boot after v1.05 ROM update

Hello,
After rooting the system I tried to upgrade the stock firmware.
I probably did something wrong because now the device won't boot.
At startup it shows the "Nubia... Powered by android" screen and does not continue with the boot process.
I still have access to TWRP so I tried to wipe everything and to install the ROM from TWRP.
It looks as if the ROM is installed correctly, but it requires reboot and after reboot the same "Nubia... Powered by android" screen comes up.
I also tried the emergency recovery but that installs only from external sd card (that the Z17 lite does not have), or from OTG device. I connected a USB thumb drive with OTG cable but it doesn't recognize it
At this point I have no idea what else to do.
I'd be happy for any assistance.
TIA

UPDATE: I tried different USB drives. One of them mounted. I found that this one was formatted in FAT. Since this is a small 2Gb drive that cannot hold the ROM, I found another drive that was formatted in ExFAT that also loaded correctly.
I loaded the ROM as suggested and now the phone is working again.
My guess is that the phone can't read NTFS file format in emergency recovery mode.

S8+ SM-G955FD Bricked Only Download mode. Unrecognized USB device

Model Number: SM-G955FD
I Think i bricked the phone when i installed a TWRP update by flashing the twrp file as an .img file after renaming removing the .tar extension from the file. Currently im stuck in a bootloop where i the device shows up as an unrecognized device in windows when im in download mode. When Booting up i get red Text saying " Could not do normal boot. Invalid Kernel Length"
For those who would say: "Install USB drivers" --> The usb drivers have nothing wrong with them, i tried out another similar phone ( SM-G955FD ) and it works, i flashed stock, flashed TWRP, no problem with that other phone. But when i Insert the bricked phone with it on Download mode, all i get is that its an unrecognized device, device descriptor failed. (This is ever since a long time ago, Even OTG doesnt work somehow, but the device charges fine, and when i use my external SSD with a USB C to USB C wire it shows up).
For now What i have done is:-
I Tried to boot into Recovery -> Doesnt work, its stuck in a bootloop (I think its because i flashed the TWRP file as . img into the recovery Partition).
Booted into Download Mode -> It works
I Opened up the Phone and swapped out the Motherboard with another one from an S8+ with a semi functional Screen. Download mode works, phone works fine, nothing wrong with it, board is just old and i would prefer to fix the other one
What works:-
Download Mode
the USB port has nothing wrong with it. i Swapped in another USB board from a similar phone which shows up in odin and it still would show up.
What doesnt work:-
Recovery mode Doesnt work.
I believe its a Kernel/Software issue. Share your thoughts on this.
For now, i am running the phone on an older board from a phone with the same Model Number SM-G955FD with the Original Parts except the Motherboard. Even though i am somehow fine, i do not want the other board go to waste.

MTCE PX5 Android 8 unit stuck on logo after connecting USB cable (no mods)

Hi guys,
So something really strange happened the other day. I bought a used Hizpo PX5 RK3066 (4Gb RAM, 64Gb Flash, 1,5 GHz Octa Core Cortex A53 chip) with Android 8.0 and connected it to a 12V, 5A AC/DC power supply to do some updates, installs etc before putting it into the car and my first thought was to try to access the Recovery Mode. The unit has no physical buttons other than RESET. It has 2x SDCard slots (Maps and SDCard) and a CDROM or DVDROM (not sure yet). After trying every possible way out there I failed to access Recovery Mode so I connected it to my laptop through 4 Pin usb port on the back (OTG USB Male to Male cable).
My laptop (Win10) did recognize the device but I was unable to install drivers (I downloaded RKtools and DriverAgent, tried different versions) getting the error:
"Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)"
The I restarted the unit and it would no longer go past the first logo "Multi-media Android bla bla bla".
The only two things that I did before was to activate the Developer Mode (which wasn't available among menues so I had to install an app to access it) and used "ADBON" code in factory settings.
I tried all possible combinations to try to reboot the unit but it always gets stuck in the same spot. Also when I installed the RK drivers, when the unit is connected, the mouse cursor lags pretty bad. And I had to restore my laptop later because it wouldn't read any other USB sources anymore...
It seems that there is no power going to SDCards (tried to boot with with bootable SD), nor to CDROM. When I start the unit it is blinking once and then not a single sound of loading, nothing. IT feels like it is expecting something from that USB port.
Is there a way of resetting this unit or resetting the USB connection somehow? Or do you think it might be an issue with power supply?
UNIT Specs:
Hizpo Android 8, PX5 RK3066, Cortex A53, 4Gb/64Gb
MCU: MTCE_XRC_V2.96a_1 Nov 10 2018 10:08:04
Build Number: px5-userdebug 8.0.0 OPR5.170623.007 eng.hct.20181110.100156 test-keys
Thank you all,
I also discovered the my USB port on the PC laptop I tried to connect this unit to, is now broken. Doesn't work with any device. Could I have somehow ruined it?
Okay it seems that there are Android units out there that will not read from more than one hard drive at a time and it feels like this is what happened here - somehow the unit tries to read from USB port, not the internal flash disk or any of the SDCards. Wonder if it is possible to reset this so that the unit is to read from the internal hard drive?

Amlogic S905x stuck on flashing logo screen

Hi there all, I have an old Android TV box which when powered up gets to the logo screen but doesn't load/boot, I have tried the reset button but it doesn't take me to the options menu or reboot the system..I have the correct .img file with firmware of the the device and I have tried unsuccessfully to flash it using Amlogic USB Burner via double male USB cable connecting the box and pc..I have also burnt the .Img file with firmware onto and SD card which was then plugged directly into the box..neither method has worked..I have faithfully followed the instructions for both methods and the software for USB burning and SD card burning are Amlogic tools...so fully compatible as the Android Box is Amlogic also...any help would be appreciated.
