S8 (G950F) will not show up in ODIN - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

Hi, I've got a S8 (G950F) that wont connect to ODIN while in download mode.
I have:
Enabled OEM Unlock
Turned on USB Debugging
Tried installing multiple Samsung drivers
Tried different cables (I'm not sure if they are 100% genuine)
And lastly tried different computers
One thing I have noticed is in download mode FRP and OEM Lock are OFF but Secure download is Enabled.
Any help would be appreciated, I would like to install TRWP

Bricked with USB Debugging enabled, no Bootloader unlocked, no TWRP

Hi guys, a got a big problem. Today i've bought an used S5. I always root my phones an install costum roms via twrp, so I wanted to do the same for the S5.
I don`t want that my knox increased so i tried the method with flashing the kernel. Normally nothing new. So I entered the download mode an start. Now I cant start the phone it always start in download mode with the error message " could not do normal boot " . As I wrote the phone is bought today and I forgot to enable usb debugging. What could I do know? (At the moment I downlaod a custom rom, but the download is really slow, and try to throw it by adb sideload on the galaxy. Dont know if it words, but didn't hinkt it will work.)
Has anybody a solution for my issue?
Thanks in advanse

AMAIK, download mode works regardless of setting for USB debugging. The only problem is, that in some cases the driver gets installed only when USB debugging is enabled.

I agree with @tetakpatak. Try flashing stock ROM through Odin (even with USB Debugging set to off) and report back if it works I too rooted my S5 the same day I got it

Help trying to install stock bootloader

Hi people,
Long time ago installed TWRP on my samsung galaxy s5 SM-G900f so i could install a custom rom but never got around to it. Recently have realised that i can't update the OS on my phone due to having unauthentic software (or similar term) installed. While trying to reinstall the stock bootloader for android my phone got stuck on a loop of the TWRP logo and will only let me boot into download mode. After researching online I found out that i can stop this by installing CWM which will replace TWRP. Installed odin and everything on my laptop only to find my phone now won't be recognised by my PC and I am therefore stuck on what to do next?? (it would connect before this happened)
Any help will be hugely appreciated, thank you in advance!!
Get a stock ROM from sammobile .com firmware section, put the phone in download mode, and flash with ODIN 3.10.7

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the advice, I have tried that but my laptop won't recognise the phone. I believe i have the correct drivers installed as it used to connect fine. I can put it into download/odin mode but i can't even locate it in the device manager let alone ODIN 3.10.7. If you could link me the correct/official drivers it would be much appreciated as all the one's I've tried have the same result.
Grab KIES3 from samsungs site, that installs the drivers, although windows always seems to install them for me automatically when I connect the phone
http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/
You can try fixing the phone with KIES before ODIN too if you want (Firmware recovery)
Phone has to be in Download mode (Volume Down & Home & Power) to flash from ODIN
ODIN will show a port number at the top when it sees your phone, as seen here with COM6 in blue
http://i-cdn.phonearena.com/images/...samsung--galaxy-s-iii-I535VRALHD-ROM-ODIN.jpg
I've just installed kies and tried both ODIN and emergency firmware recovery but still neither recognise the phone, on Kies3 i get to a menu stating "list of devices requiring emergency recovery" and the box is blank (phone always plugged in, in download mode)
In odin no COM port is recognised, no text in upper boxes
Use a different PC / Cable
Tried both, used 3 different cables and 3 different pc's (2 windows 10 and 1 windows 7) after installing kies and odin on both still got same result as on my laptop. Although on windows 7 after i waited several minutes for the box to light up in odin a message came up from windows saying that no device driver has been installed for "unknown device"? thank you again for your help!
Seems strange that multiple PCs can't see it, there are some samsung drivers kicking about you could try, if I can find them I`ll link here

odin problem

Odin not showing my j5(2016) sm-j510fn in download mode. Normally my pc can detect my phone. How to solve it?
Make sure you have OEM unlock and USB debugging turned on.
Both are on

Please anyone help me... I tried alot

Somedays ago, i rooted my samsung galaxy s6 edge plus (sm-g928f). I was checking the settings and by mistake i have turned off the developer mode in settings and when i restarted mobile it is showing frp lock neither i can turn on mobile nor i can go to recovery... There is only one option for flashing firmware through download mode from odin but my mobile doesn't connects to any pc and laptop, I have checked with diffrent cables in different computers with all samsung drivers installed.
so, please tell me the solution. I can only charge the mobile now. I cant turn on mobile and recovery because of frp lock and neither connect through download mode as usb not detecting at all..
so, now:
*i cant switch on my phone
*cant go to recovery mode
*cant connect by usb cable
Please Develeopers and experts please give me the solution for this problem.

As I already mentioned,I cannot connect mobile to PC through usb,it's download mode is not detecting in any PC in odin even all samsung drivers installed.
What USB drivers did you install?
Try removing the ones you have installed and then booting into download mode and letting windows get them automatically. I haven't installed any drivers for my phone, I plug in the USB and Windows detects and downloads them.... I'm on windows 10.

1. Are you able to enter the recovery menu?
2. Are you able to enter the download mode?
3. Do you hear the USB connected sound on your Windows machine when you connect the phone while the phone is in download mode?
4. Have you tried different versions of Odin? During my researches I have found a site which recommends 3 different versions to try (AndroidSage: Download Latest Odin 3.13.1, 3.12.10, 3.12.5 Tool For All Samsung Galaxy Devices).
5. Have you tried installing a custom OS again or the stock Samsung OS?
1. unfortunately not
2.yes, this works fine
3.no
4.I tried just 3.14.4
5.I am trying installing stock firmware

I assume that you know that there is a warning before entering the download mode which you get rid of by pressing the volume up button.
Are you sure you are using a USB data cable and not only a cable used for charging? The first one usually has 4+ wires and the second one only 2.
If you are sure that you are using data cable then you can try doing different stuff to your phone (like turning it on and off, entering download mode and exiting) while connected to the PC and listening if any sound comes out of your PC.
