Hello,
My phone gives the red error that reads "Your device is corrupt and cannot be trusted", yet it boots just fine. I have flashed a few ROMs on it in the past, however it now has a locked bootloader and a new factory image flashed onto it.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of this annoying message?
You need to unlock the boot loader and go over to the ROM section. There is a boot image that will clean this up then you can flash your stock ROM. The boot image you flash will not boot the device though.

Which boot image should I use? Neutrino?
Read this top to bottom. It's my go-to before posting Q's. The answer you seek is here...

No. OEM, back to stock.

Yup, I did it.
Using the clockworkmod image, I deleted everything on the phone including recovery and then restarted.
Now my phone just boots to the bootloader and cannot do anything...
I have attempted to flash another recovery, but I get a signature verified error.
Will I need to root the phone the old fashioned way by unlocking the boot loader (and thereby voiding my warranty) or is there anything else I can do?
Yes, you're going to have to unlock it.
I cant post links yet but did the same thing, find my thread on it and hopefully you can recover.

I didn't have to unlock it.
So I rooted it. Done.
But now I can't boot to my recovery... even though I fastboot flash recovery recovery.img with Amon Ras recovery.. the phone just reboots to the boot loader.
Any suggestions?
In the mean time, I will try the clockwork image
So the clockworkmod image also failed.
So, I restored passion-EPE54B.zip images individually but now the phone is stuck on the X...
And when I try to boot to recovery the phone restarts three times and then stays on the X.
Help!
Renamed the original boot to PASSIMG.zip, booted to bootloader and all appears to be working.
But now I have no warranty
Anyways, thanks all.
wait, were did you already have AMon_Ra? If so I think you have some terms mixed up
ok so i have a razr m i got on ebay. It looks flawless
i unlocked the boot loader and rooted it.
i went into fast boot and pushed cwm 6.0.4.4. I could only get into the boot loader with the key presses "not adb reboot bootloader"
when I go into rom manager i see that i have the latest version of cwm
but I cant boot into recovery
it just shows the boot loader unlocked screen for a while then boots to the regular red eye and regular system
also could not flash cm12 nioghtly from rom manager.
do I just need to rsd the whole thing and start overt?
i retried flashing recovery with mfastboot and it didn't work any better
adb reboot recovery
just the unlocked bootloader screen for a while and then evenutally went into regular boot
ok getting somewhere
i tried a newer version of mfastboot and put the stock recovery back on.
i can now boot to the stock recovery.
i saw that there were issues with the recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.4-xt907.img
what recovery should I be using i am on 4.4.2 183.46.15
i want to get to cm12 eventually
i have tried a number of recoveries. XT901-XT907-TWRP-2.6.3.0-recovery is one

will this one work as well
twrp-2.8.4.2-xt907
Signed up to Android N BETA, downloaded all okay. Rebooted and now into an eternal bootloop.
I can get into FASTBOOT mode okay, but when I select Recovery I get the Android passed out with a red exclamation mark on it's belly. "No command" is displayed.
As the phone is not unlocked I cannot flash a new recovery or new image.
I seem to be locked out of flashing a new recovery and new image. I tried to format cache and userdata but not allowed to as the phone is locked.
Is there a way to unlock the phone via command line? I don't believe there is, right?
How can I proceed? Any ideas?

Try this link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/help/help-unbricking-nexus-6p-t3382895. Here is a link to the actual zip file you will need posted by @matt1515 https://android.googleapis.com/pack.../53bd5f816ce0706903d1a69d50bca6cd4f52b800.zip
You should be able to download that file and adb sidle load it to get back to stock marshmallow. I would strongly suggest unlocking your bootloader when you get back up and running.
Good luck.

Thanks but adb does not recognize the device while in fastboot. I can't get to a recovery because it is corrupted.

I am pretty sure your recovery isn't corrupt. That's how it should look. On the screen with dead android and exclamation mark, press volume up or down to fully boot into recovery. Your only way of resolving this is through recovery, which is already linked before.

That's the way stock recovery works. When the 'No command' screen appears, press and hold the power button, and tap the volume up button once. You will then be able to access stock recovery. In there, try wiping the cache partition.
See if this fixes it. If it doesn't, go back to the stock recovery and do a factory reset.
Be warned that a factory reset will erase everything on your device, including internal storage.

The link you posted works quite well actually. What i found is that you need to unzip all the files you wish to flash onto the desktop. How did you attempt to unlock the bootloader?

Same here. Just jump back into EDL mode and flash the full OTA. Download and unzip the folder to your desktop. I removed the META-INF File and flashed after the A2017U_** folder as the META caused me to fail a few times.
my nexus 6p is not booting into rom, recovery (stock and custom).
i have a unlocked bootloader, flashed custom recovery(twrp) by fastboot but can't get in to twrp as i wanted to flash blod patch to use 4cores to work.
i tried flashing stock images of MM, Nougat, Oreo using platform tools by google but getting an error like see in the attachment:crying:.
i tried it with fastboot by manually entering commands it will flash but not use still bootlooping.
i tried toolkits like NRT & all in one toolkit by XDA member this toolkits can flash stock rom successfully but cant get boot into system, stock recovery.
help me with your answers. my status is "unlocked bootloader, fastboot working, can access bootloader but can't get into recovery from it".
getting couldn't parse partition size 0x when booting boot img through platform tools.
tell me if i did any mistake. Thank you.
You tried stock images. Does that include factory images? That erases and reflashes quite literally everything (bootloader, recovery, system, etc.)
Find them here for 6P: https://developers.google.com/android/images#angler

You didn't mention which custom recovery you flashed. Did you try the one in this thread? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-death-blod-workaround-flashable-zip.3819515/
If you did and you still can't get into it, your device is likely dead from the BLOD. But to make sure you have the BLOD, flash the latest factory image first (Dec. 2018) with the latest platform tools to see if it boots... https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools

firstly i already cant boot into stock recovery from my bootloader i'm on stock os 8.1.
and now i've flashed twrp for angler from twrp website but cant boot into custom recovery too.
now i've flashed twrp image of 4cores but still can't get into recovery.
so what's the problem of this phone if my mobile cant get even into twrp i can't do blod patch if we think my device is suffering from blod issue.
do you think it may be the problem of hardware like ram, emmc, or the SD 810?

As I said in my previous post, if you can't boot into the 4core custom recovery, your device is likely dead because of the BLOD, unfortunately. If you are on stock with nothing else on your phone that might be preventing you from booting (e.g. mods, Substratum overlays, etc.) there's not much else you can do.

Hi, I am havin same problem as the user above....I am on stock 7.1.2 right now. Unable to boot into TWRP, i flashed twrp-3.2.1-0-fbe-4core-angler.img and then entered recovery from bootloader screen. nothing! i also tried to do a temporary boot to my recovery via fastboot command. didn't work! I dont think my phone is that dead...but I don't see why it isnt booting into twrp...i did the flash all of stock firmware from the Google website. Any assistance? Currently I have a Pixel 2 thats not working, so i thought I would try to revive the 6P, but no luck so far.
