Hey Everyone,
Wanted to tell all of you about a neat app we're developing, called Flexilis.
It's a mobile security suite for Windows Mobile devices, that keeps your device and data safe from loss, theft, hackers, viruses, malware, spam, and more.
We've currently opened signups for our private beta testing, if you're interested in checking it out, just hit up http://beta.flexilis.com and sign up, and feel free to chat about the product here
If anyone has questions or runs into trouble, just shoot us an email at [email protected] and we'll help you out!
-Chris

Also, if any of you request an invite and it hasnt gotten granted within a day or so, let me know and I'll take care of it.
If you weren't asking for so much personal information, you might actually get people to try your app...
we're actually working on revising that, the reason we ask for the phone number is because it's used to sms you your download link for the software later on in the process, we're in the process of moving that to later on in the process, as well as an explanation of why we ask for it.
Thanks for the feedback!

Hey man,
nice thing with this soft, that we give the phone number is not so a big problem i think. could you post a little bit infos about the program? Cause on your side there a not many informations.
But i ithink i'll give it a try...
I just have one little question, on you privacy page you write:
When you use the Flexilis Services, our servers automatically record certain information about your usage. These logs may include information such as the IP address, mobile device identification number, phone number, operating system, version information, wireless carrier, web requests, browser type, browser language, referring pages, landing pages, pages viewed, or other usage information.

Why do record the pages we visit?
we're still working on a little bit of a tour/walkthrough area of the software on the front page, as we get closer to public beta, but for now there's nothing there yet. My first post in this thread gives a brief summary of it though. Feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected] with any questions!
-Chris
There's nothing in the software that tracks the pages you view or anything, what that refers to is on our end we track what pages users use on the flexilis website the most, much the same way other websites do, to track what pages and content on our site our most popular, etc.

I'm still not sure what your program do, but it certainly doesn't behave the way I expect.
1) Why to require authorization so often?
2) Contrary to the stated phone number is not accepted for authorization. Only email.
3) I don't really know what you mean by "a few minutes", but currently Flexilis is authorizing my phone already for more than two hours. I see no progress bar and I don't understan what's going.
4) I can't stop authorization process.
5) Why the authorization process continues even when I close all connections? Did you invent new method of communication?
6) The program is hidden from task managers and process viewers. What for?
I didn't sniff the traffic but currently behavior of your program reminds more of malware rather than security software.
My conclusion: As I don't understand what your program is doing, I'm not going to test it anymore until additional guidance is provided.
Sorry, if I'm sounding harsh. It's just writing style (tough work, you know )
No worries
1] once it's authorized the first time, it shouldnt have to authorize again, what kind of phone are you authorizing it on? we're making some fixes to the authorization process to make it even simpler that should roll out in the next release.
2] if you're outside of the US, you might need to add your country code and such if that's the case, let me know, or send me an email to [email protected] so we can look into it.
3] per all authorization questions, it'll try til its authorized, again we're fixing this.
4] per the it being hidden from task managers, we've given this some discussion, for right now it's a security feature to try to prevent theives from disabling the software, though we might fix that in the future to have the app visible in there somehow.
As far as being more indepth on all of the features, we are working on a tour of sorts to explain it all before the beta goes public.
Thanks for the feedback!

Authorizing a device ... what a hassle. I finally gave up since I couldn't tell if it was doing anything. No more testing for or feedback from me.
fredcatsmommy: sorry it didnt work out for you. hopefully in the future when that's fixed (should be less than a week), we can lure you back, it does some amazing stuff, but we do run into bugs from time to time due to the vast number of windows mobile devices out there, and only having a small test bed of them to work with. Keep your eyes peeled, and we'll have that fixed soon!

I think you need to tell us what the app actually does?
I have read this and your site and still don't know what it does?
Will hold off on trying it till I know.
How long is the initializing and activating supposed to take?
seriously, the authorizing bugs should have been worked out before releasing a beta here. we cant even tell if its running, authorizing, stealing information from our devices, etc.. I surely hope this is a legit app youre pushing, if so, FIX IT, so we can at least see what it does.
thx
I installed and authorized with no issues what-so-ever... contrary to what everyone else is saying everything seems to work just fine. works great and doesn't seem to take much memory... not a single complaint here!
Advertising your application for beta purposes is usually not a problem. But, it seems you are here more for "recruiting" testers than anything else. Looks like you joined for this purpose only.
My suggestion to you, is to give a little more description on your develpoment. Seems there are too many questions going unanswered here.

I have an HTC Mobul/Titan using default Rom/Radio with WinMo 6.1
To install it I just did what I would any other and installed it onto internal memory...
Correction: The application works just fine if you don't have push e-mail (aren't connected to a remote exchange server), I have been having problems all day with my push e-mail from mail2web which I use to forward my work e-mail to my phone. I have therefore decided to remove it as I can't afford to have it interfere with work.
If any of you have flashed a ROM and then promptly restored everything with TiBu, then you know the pain that is Restoring the Widgets that get the "Problem Loading Widget" error. Now you might say "You're just lazy its only 4 widgets!" Which I would reply "Yes that would be the case unless I'm a user that
1) likes widgets...a lot.
or
2)likes the WP7 theme idea...a lot.
So you see that is where this app/hack/script will come in handy.
Now I think if anyone would like to help me(I'm a complete linux noob, in fact the only thing i know how to do is a little bit of Java!) I would gladly use all the resources I can, anything from project management to learning a whole new Prog Language.
Now let's start with phase one: Identifying the problem.
My guess is that this error stems from the launcher-widget communication. The only way I can rationalize it is that the launcher requests the widget and the responsible activity can't find it. I have no clue. I'm going to go find the source code of a launcher and analyse it.
If anyone can chime in or even leave some source(s) that would be wonderful!
Thanks!
Hello. I'm new to Android. I recently bought an S4 after 5.5 years with various iPhones. The ability to customize my phone is awesome, but daunting given all of the different apps and rooting knowledge that are required. Unfortunately, after having my phone for months, I've made little progress in learning how to do what I want to do with it because I work a ton of hours. Thus, I will pay someone to set up my phone the way I want. I live in Los Angeles, so I prefer someone who can do this in person. But I am happy to do this over Skype or the phone if possible. I have no idea how much to pay for this, so I'm open to bids.
I have an S4 on AT&T. It's not rooted. Let me know what other phone information you need. I would like the following from you:
(1) my phone rooted, and an explanation of which ROMs are available so I can pick the best one for me
(2) customized lockscreen setup, including the ability to run various apps/widgets with a numerical lock code, but not having to unlock my phone first (as I understand it, I need a customized ROM to do this because certain widgets run only without a lock code being used on the phone)
(3) customized home screens. Not just one though. I am envisioning a different theme for each page (maybe around 5 pages total). Thus, I want to be able to use a different picture on each home screen and potentially use different size icons and text on each home screen.
(4) some tasker automation (I already have a few ideas myself, but am open to suggestions from you to automate my phone)
I am not asking you to come up with the design ideas for my lockscreens and homescreens. I already have most of what I want in my head, and have downloaded the appropriate pictures. I'm going for a minimalist design. I just need someone to help me execute my ideas (which may include some photo editing), though if you have any design suggestions I would like to hear them.
Please send me a private message, including how much you'd charge for your help, and we'll go from there. Thank you very much.
Paul
Before you ask, what firmware are you running? The newest firmware blocked root access and is impossible to downgrade or root

You should look into SSLauncher. It's not what I use, but I played around with it for a few days. It is definitely the most customizable launcher on the Play Store.
This is not what a bounty is. You are looking to pay for work. This is not allowed on XDA and violated the free sharing spirit of XDA.
I am sorry for an inconvenience

I Came across an interesting YouTube video(actually 2 videos of the same phone) of a way to remove frp from a Google Nexus running Nougat 7.0/7.1.1 using Termux and terminal emulator along with Dirtycow and Gam6-7.1.1 apk files. The video itself is in Portuguese according to YouTube auto translate, but with careful study and pausing its pretty straight forward. Now the ZTE Blade Z max z982 is no Nexus for sure but being this is a tutorial using Termux apk and terminal emulator apk to remove Google frp 7.0-7.1.1. (Blade Z Max comes out of box with 7.1.1.) I figured I'd give it a shot after multiple attempts to access without any computer as the everyday device user has basic computer knowledge and relies on step by step video tutorial to work into their device. Now this does require having the Z982 bypass the setup wizard which I'm sure if you have been searching for a way back into your device after forgetting your email password or if you bought second hand (like myself) and the previous owner incorrectly reset the device before selling you probably already know this method. If not a simple YouTube search will turn up results as to how to do that. So with all necessary downloaded files I gave it a shot. Worked flawlessly even let me install GAM6.apk.Worked well up until the part where he hit the disable option on Google Account Manager (16:48 in video) 3 times and the icon changed to a sdcard icon and read "com.google.android.gsf.login". Now I think this guy is pretty clever with this method but I'm clueless as to how he was able to do exactly what he did at that point in the video. I am not sure if this has been fixed by a patch. I am patched at August 1 2017. Also it dosent clarify the chipset but am quite sure the Nexus runs Qualcomm and not MTK, as does the Blade. I translated the page to read a few comments and the main issue seemed to be the same issue I'm facing. I do know that "com.google.android.gsf.login" is the key step in the list of activities that GAM performs upon startup that is blocked until previous email and password are provided and permissions are granted to that particular activity. I was hoping that a more experienced member or user familiar with system level apps and privileges could make sense of what exactly he has done in the video as I am a intermediate user and I am still learning Android systems and using developer tools. If anyone has any knowledge with these core level apps and could possibly figure out a work around or contribute to what he has done with the Nexus phone I'm positive this would be very helpful to Z982 owners and Nougat users across all devices as I'm sure with this method the phone is 95% the of the way through a successful "no computer needed" bypass method. This is by no means a walk in the park for the everyday user and will require some knowledge and a bit of research to complete the tutorial for those who may come upon this post and decide to try. I do know of methods to bypass this issue but have dedicated my time and research to finding a handset method only as this would help many z982 owners immensely. This is intended for the rightful owners of this device and all devices applied who may have forgotten their gmail password or for those who purchased second hand or obtained legally and the previous owner incorrectly reset the device and can't be contacted. This is NOT intended for the use by thieves who obtain phones through deceptive measures. I do not condone any illegal activity and may karma find you when you least expect it for those who partake in such activities! The video is pretty lengthy not in English and be prepared to use the pause button numerous times unless your advanced and are familiar with Termux and terminal commands. Also using the Blade Z Max meant a few small steps had to be changed in order to get the files to copy to Termux. For this I suggest using the storage tab in settings/phone/used space/other and hit explore and find download folder which will allow you to copy gam6.apk and Dirtycow fIle(unzip first) into Termux. Hopefully we will find a solution to this problem for this device for those who have no or limited computer access or knowledge of flashing and firehose files and more advanced removal methods. I'll keep hunting and researching and will update upon discovery of a successful method. Links are posted below.
Edit: Being this is my first post and Im noob status I cannot offer links to the videos.

You should do your research more thoroughly before promoting methods. None of those files (except for the frp-bypass.apk) are rootjunky's, and the method isn't his either. I discovered the dirtycow method, and I released it for free on YouTube for everybody to use as they wish and the only thing I asked in return was the credit for finding it. This is just clear evidence that I should have branded the method and charged everybody instead.
Also please PM me the URL for both of the videos you found on YouTube in other languages, guarantee they're just reuploads of my content and I'd like to copyright strike them.
The post was meant to possibly spark ideas and gain input on a method that would cover all devices. All of us in the Android community thank you for your Discovery and contribution of the dirty cow method we really do.. But excuse and forgive me for coming across one person's video of your hijacked method before finding you or your original method first! I'm trying to help people out and if my failed attempt at trying to bypass what has now become a 6 months long frp project, generates and Sparks a new idea at attacking and approaching this issue, then it's progress logged! I can unlock and bypass it in less then 10 seconds and have dedicated my device and purposely hard reset it to try and find a way for the public who can't afford the tools I have at my disposal. The files I came across were all on this guy's YouTube. I'm passing along info not performing research for a 6th grade science project let alone tracking down the founder of the method being used. But now that I'm informed and armed with this new information I'll be sure to mention you any time I refer to the dirty cow method, anywhere in the online community. I'll gladly pm you the links.
Have to figured this out yet and found a solution for the ZTE?
Uniandroidtool can do it, it costs $50 but it's worth it. It can bypass FRP on many phones. I would do it for you but remote support is not currently available.

By the way, just a heads up, the kid goes pretty fast, but he walks you thru all the steps so watch carefully.
I verified it works, good luck.

Method Failed
This failed for me. I can get the credentials moved over but when I go through the setup the lock is still there. I figured out that the credentials are copied over, a new user is being created in my case, and the original account is still there. . I can get to settings but I cannot enable developer move because is says I'm not the primary user. Maybe I missed a crucial step but I don't know what.

For some time now, many years, I have experienced problems with my cellular telephone that I could not explain or rectify. I know I am being hacked and no matter how many times I factory reset the phone the problems still exist. My phone has been lost and stolen in which insurance has replaced the phone and in no time or immediately I experience the exact same problems. My videos and pictures are altered, deleted or hidden. All the programs or applications seem to be altered or customized with options that are not the genuine developer or creator options and images. The graphics associated with the applications and web pages are not the genuine images and I am sure that violates trademark, copyright, intellectual property rights and other laws I am not aware of. Web pages information, contact information, address information, and content are altered and changed which can affect all sorts of areas such as personal safety, product safety, access to information is blocked, altered or displayed in ways that make it impossible to get directions, product availability, law enforcement help, legal help and information. When I use Google Maps for directions, it will take me down one way streets the opposite direction toward oncoming traffic,, have ludicrous directions, unnecessary turns, wrong speed limits, and out right wrong directions or even switch my end point without my knowledge. I tried to order cleaning gloves and masks today, and no store in my city was in stock, and delivery was not until July the 5th, 2020. I am also experiencing the same things with all my electronics such as my computer, smart televisions, printers and gps units. I did a screen recording of the applications on my phone, and the about phone section. I know from that it is apparent that my phone is hacked and under control of some other party or person. Someone is either maliciously attacking me with the purpose to cause extreme harm for reasons of personal enjoyment, or my name, reputation and activities have been purposely misled and lied about in a gross manner where a cellular telephone developer, or a technology hacker, or information pirate or mercenary developed and/or gave someone or some group a program and knowledge on how to capture my phone and all other electronics and hold it hostage. I have tried to root the phone in order to put a custom rom on it, but my searches and efforts are blocked and never get any traction or success. I am attaching the screen capture video- it is 20+ minutes and will show the extent of the hacking. Someone is perverting and illegally using developers tools, programs, applications and code in ways that were never intended and can only lead to extreme problems of which in all honesty death or terminal scenarios are all real possibilities. I am hoping to identify these people with your help, and bring them to justice and alleviate my life problems that this has caused and stop the illegal and intentional perversion of the original intent for cellular development which is the fruitful search for knowledge and advancement of useful and legal technology. Please help me in this battle to which all operations on my device are unsuccessful, disheartening, and uncontrollable. Thank you in advance and if this should be posted in another area or forum please advise, however I am posting it in a few that I think are relevant. I live in Houston, Texas- so if there is a group of developers, or some people that can help me combat this locally please message me their contact information. Take care. - Dale-
