2 Question about SM-T580 32Gb model - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Hello!
I have 2 questions about that tablet:
1) s the "kid's mode" feature present right from the start or is it available to download? Also, is an application for drawings already present in this mode?
2) I read that this model will be updated to Android Oreo towards the end of the year, but that you know, there is some remote possibility that in the future can also receive Android P? I know there will be the Lineage OS for that, but I mean official updates.
Thanks in advance!

Lenovo S6000 OS Help!

I've got a Lenovo S6000-H 16 G.B. (Call & Msg Enabled) Tablet with Android 4.2.2 equipped. I think Lenovo company has given up on supporting it and releasing updates.
Is there any way to upgrade its Android (For example to 4.3 or 4.4) manually? If yes, would you explain how, please?

If Lenovo is no longer offering official OS upgrades, then it would have to be an custom rom.
If you use the search bar you can find information about flashing custom roms on your tablet, but I would
suggest you really study the case first, and make sure the ROM really works for your Tablet, or you might end up with an non-booting tablet..

[q] update to lollipop for lenovo a3000

I have lenovo a3000 tablet and i want to update it to 5.1.1 lollipop android....
So i got an idea that i can download an update for nexus 6 or any another device have the update and put it in my sd card and update the tablet from recovery mode...
BUT I HAVE SOME PROBLEMS:-
1) I don't know any link to download updates from....
2) I can't download the original software of lenovo a3000 (to install it again if i damaged the software)
So can any one help me in this problem...
You can't just take a firmware from a device and flash it on another unfortunately. That would just be too easy. XDA member Olivier has been working REALLY hard for a long time now to get CM11 (cyanogenmod kitkat 4.4.4) working on our tablet. It's not that easy.
ERRORS
but it has a camera and sensor erorrs

There is a newer model Tab2 A7-30 (and it is advertised as an updated A3300 model - same SoC MT8382 , same RAM/ROM config same camera hardware) it is due to get the Lollipop update in Q3 2015. So porting over Tab2 A7-30 to A3300should be an easier course to take. The onlydifference I see is that in Tab2 it has switch external sdcard to be internal sdcard and there is no SmartSideBar app on its current KitKat firmware and it has also switched over to "ideafriend" ala Vibe for Phone/Contact manager/Dialer (NO Lenovo/Google Dialer/Contacts).
The only thing that is missing is a Customs Recovery for Tab2 A7-30.

I bought 2 pcs A8-A5500 it is MT8382 (in April 2015) and I also bought Tab2 A7-30HC (June 2015) it is also MT8382 this side of the world. I am aware that there are other versions out there but over in Asia except for A7-10(some with 8382 others with 8127), A8-A5500 and Tab2 A7-30 are both MT8382 (I own both models!) I Dunno which model you are talking about. Didnt you see my signature?
Anyway the reason I post this msg is to shout out IF there is anybody out here who happens to have CWM/TWRP recovery. Looks like nobody has it bcoz they might be using "different" MTK SoC, lol!

Will Android 7.0 be available for yotaphone2?

Why does this guy have it?
Any solution we can flash nougat?
That guy doesn't have Android Nougat, it is fake. If you look at his firmware version it says that MM is installed. The modifications are done with xposed or other stuff. The android version written in "About Phone" can be changed anytime to anything manually, it's just matter of editing a text file in build.prop. The notification panel and the quick toggles are the same as those obtained using a particular xposed module which "N-tifies" those settings.
Regarding the fact if we will ever have it, who knows. At the moment Qualcomm hasn't released drivers for Snapdragon 801 to work with Nougat. So only back-porting might be possible. When YotaPhone 3 will be released (with Android N, 99% sure), maybe someone will manage to port its ROM to YotaPhone 2.
guys, I know that soon it will be possible to auto-update by WiFi to Android 6 - may be in a month...
fake

Yoga Smart Tab

Hello,
So I got a Lenovo Smart Tab (yt-x703f) and really want to flash TWRP to it, so I can flash LineageOS rom, but it seems like there's no support for it, or even a subthread on XDA.
(I tried various twrp images)
Anyone got some experience with that tablet and have something working?
Cheers
For some reason this device gets the silent treatment on all fora. I can't figure out why, this could be a great multimedia device with some adjustments. batt life is great as is the sound. Screen is ok ish and the speed needs to be tweaked, but no one is willing to tweak
You can root the device and even flash a GSI on it. Tested myself and everything is working
Yoga Smart Tab - Iron GreyPart Number: ZA3V0005US
Not sure if we are talking about the same device but lenovo does not support their mid tier devices with OS updates and would like to install a bloatless OS also pie is really dated and wondering if i will run in to issues with app compatibility. There is also that issue where it won't run HD in netflix because netflix is a static app and can not be removed and reinstalled. Hence bloatware and would love a clean google experience.

Flashing a GSI might help if the device supports Project Treble. Basically any device launched with Android 8 and above should support Project Treble.
Hi, I have a Lenovo Yoga smart tab (YT-X705L) and I want to install a new rom on it. I’m not an IT wizard so I need help with that. Would you find anyone who can give step-by-step instructions from start to finish with download links.
And if you can find experiences on how anything works (which is GSI). Thanks in advance.
