What's the difference between using this and backing it up with twrp or something?
Or does this work on a stock unrooted device to cover your ass before you go changing things?

It requires root and adb to take backup not for non rooted devices.

Here's a way if you have experience with updating firmwares and more..
1. Downgrade to kitkat by downloading the KSA firmware from this page : https://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-G530H/page/11
2. follow the steps on this page ::: http://trueandroid.com/root-g530hxcu1anl4-android-4-4-4-kitkat-firmware-galaxy-grand-prime-sm-g530h/
good luck, if you end up with a bricked phone then just download the 4.4.4 firmware again and do the way again.

I face to problem about phone model... please help me

Hello guys!
My Note 3's Model Name is N9005 but its bootloader is N900PVPUCNC5. And when i enter to download mode then it's model name N900P. I checked IMEI using www imei info it's showing N9005 and its baseband n9005. And it has GPU that called adreno 330. What should i do? It's okey to flash N9005 rom?
Please help me, I would really appreciate any advice.

Tired reseting and changing using din removal trick after flashing multi csc rom but i m not able to change the csc after every flash i m getting same csc as btc/btc/btc
I want to use jio sim card along with samsung pay

S7 Edge Won't startup after update

Hello. I got little problem with friend's Galaxy, she do update OTA. During it the phone stuck on update and no responde, after restar no boot up, only Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, i try to reinstall system with odin, its Pass sucessfuly. But after i all the time got this messeng. Some solution ? Sorry for my english, im not able to write well

What is model number of your phone? And what files did you flash for firmware flashing especially model number specified in firmware file name?

SM-G935F from free Shipping Poland, I downloaded files from Sammobile XEO. Here u go the witch one. I flash all what the folder have BL, AP, CP, CSC.
