I explain my problem, after taking time trying roms 8.1 I decided to give a second chance to the stock-based roms. After several attempts with a couple of roms, I always get the same problem after installation (so not installed). I have read that it may be a problem with the version of twrp (right now with the latest version). Before trying to download the version I have to do something special, install as an image and go? Do I lose information when doing it?
What steps should I follow to go down to 6.0?
Thank you
Wrong topic, but what phone do you have? If x722, flash genesys 26S

Please make sure that you copy everything you need from your phone to computer or usb C stick. Once you have done that, please format data which will wipe your phone completely.
Plug the Usb stick and install your 6.0 rom.
If you encounter an error, try twrp change version.
I've done it countless times.
I do not change the twrp version?
Fence and install?
to that it must that after installing a rom 6.0 (with all the wipes) tell me that it is not installed, if in the process of installation does not mark error?
thanks for the answers and sorry for putting the issue where it does not correspond

28S is the latest afaik, but some say that it lock some bands.
thanks for the answers, one last question.
Once the storage is formatted, the rom remains or do I have to install from scratch from the computer?

Yes, i read about this too..... I have the Developer Option available already (a few taps on the version number) but no Google UI option there, just 3 options to chose from. Or do you know how to get more options?
I did a try a russian "2014-10-14--10-16-45 K920_ROW_S126_140825.7z" with their "twrp_2.8.0.1_recovery_K920Pro.7z" file but it "killed" my phone....
I can still access the Lenovo Re ovey and the root menu though.. But the operating system just hangs at the Chinese 4G logo.....
Im not able to restart the TWRP again. I start to dislike this odd phone now after spending 30-40 hours to try to get google play, gmail etc to work.. I should have bought a HTC or Samsung instead..

You shouldn't do that at the early release of the phone. Even any phone. You need to wait for the official rom release. How about you try fastboot and flash the twrp/cwm recovery. From the recovery use sideload to reflash the stock rom. Keep in mind that you should wait for a review or someone who actually successfully flash the custom roms/non-official rom. Except root, theres a number of successful root.

I know but i was desperate to get Google to work... Bricked or Chines system is same same for me...
Fastboot and TWRP cant find any device. Factory reset or wipe did not help either. Can access boot menu and Lenovo recovery, but need a recovery file first, and then we have problem with that i cant access the phones internal storage.... And this crap has no SD-memory either...
$700 down the drain for sure... Still have to buy a new phone though, and im still in China... Have to fly to HK to get a new phone... This is going to be expensive.
Thats what happen when you flash the unofficial rom. You know the risk. Make sure you have installed fastboot driver and adb driver. Im sure you can reflash the rom after you able to enter fastboot

Drivers are okay and have worked before. But now when running ABD Devices command, it show "? unautorized" so i get stuck there.
I SOLVED IT....... Except that the both SIM-card shows a red X.. but everything else seems, camera, GPS, WiFi to work AND it has GOODLE PLAY etc now.. Anyone know how to make the phone to work again?
I have tried ABD, Fastboot, TWRP, MiFlash, QPST, QMSCT_DL_EMMC_TOOL but nothing worked except following this instruction
I used the files in the Bin-folder of K920_ROW_S126_140825_user_1408251128 rom

Hello.
I have a problem with my S4 i9500. I've successfully rooted it and flashed custom recovery. But I'd also like to install custom rom on it, and there is where problem begins. Every time I flash rom and reboot it stucks at boot logo. I've tried it with Philz and TWRP recoveries and three different kitkat AOSP based roms. But the situation looks the same every time, despite waiting over 15-30 minutes the system doesn't boot properly, it stucks at boot logo. Creating backups and restoring stock rooted rom works flawlessly however with both recoveries.
I've also tired twice to install rom without doing factory reset before and then it goes trough boot logo, however stucks at "android is being actualised" window or something like that.
I hoped to get rid of ugly and slow touchwiz from my phone as fast as possible, but with no succes so far. What am I doing wrong?
Sorry for possible mistakes, english is not my first language.

It should just work.
- Is your bootloader up to date?
- Running latest modem?
- Try not to flash it from your external sd but from your internal.
- Use something like Airdroid to transer the files from your laptop to your phone. I find it more reliable then cabled.
- Redownload the rom again.
- Use TWRP recovery. The rest is outdated.
- Make sure to properly wipe in the recovery. Maybe even wipe your internal storage (/data).
That's what comes to mind.

How do I check bootloader version and update it if necesarry?
I tried flashing both from internal and external memory, with te same result (no success).
Also, I didn't transfer roms form PC, I downloaded them directly to my phone. I did it the same way with my older phones and never had an issue like this.

I was unable to get airdroid working correctly. I'm not sure if it wasn't because of SD restrictions on Kitkat. Maybe this causes my problem as well? I also realized that many file related operations like renaming a folder, deleting files and even downloading it is unsuccessful unless I use stock samsung app. I've transferred the rom later via USB cable and flashed, but the problem still occurs.

It's Korean model. I'm not sure if GT-I9500 ROMs will work correctly on SHV-E300K (if it's booting), due to too many differences between International and Korean version.

Firstly, I do not know if your phone came default with H2OS or OOS. So I will give you the route you need to choose if the default OS on your phone was OOS (Oxygen OS)
OOS
First take your phone back to default stock using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/guide-official-op2-stock-reset-to-oos-3-t3402020
Next unlock your bootloader from the developer options.
Then reboot to fastboot and flash TWRP Hybrid Version 3.0.2.0 [Search in the General Thread. I believe i have seen it there]
Lastly, follow the guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/rom-hydrogenos-v1-2-0-sensors-t3264711 for H2OS
Try method 1 in this link. it will install Stock recovery, On there you can install Oxygen OS. If you need any help Message me.

Don't ask me how, I installed wrong Rom on my edge 7, as result, no USB connection.
So can't use Oddin to replace ROM and of course can't root.
Also, all rooting app fails, I guess because they recognize it as a different device.
A part of that the device works great, but I can't do any updates and I have a challenge...
Any ideas?

Hi,
Phone is Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935F
Have no Idea what was installed...
I believe it was kernel - I attached a picture of the SFTWR details
Don't know if it was ODIN or ZIP
I can put phone in Download mode, but it is not detected - well if it was, then I could have reflash it with ODIN
And yes, USB debugging is ON
try kingroot to get root easily, then use a
twrp app to flash recovery and finally go to rwcovery, wipe everything, flash proper rom
every rom thread has an i fo about models how did you manage to flash the wrong one? if you too lazy to read you need a lot of money to repair damages ^_^
Hi everyone, I owns a Black, Made in China variant Mi A1, bought it almost 10 months ago so it's in brand new condition.
A night I was using it as regular, watching YouTube, It suddenly restarted automatically, and stuck on 'Android One' boot animation.
I wasn't doing any heavy or intensive task, was not having any issue except storage full. The device is on official stock rom and on June security patch with Android 8.1.
I've tried >?1. Apply update from ADB in recovery mode with June update, which gave me -> E: footer is wrong. E: signature verification failed. Installation aborted
>?2. Apply update from SD card with the same update as above, which gave me -> Couldn't mount SD card
Bootloader is locked, USB debugging is off, no custom recovery installed.
Is there any way to make it work again without erasing user data? I'm familiar with all kinds of Command Line Interface and with almost every tech term. Any help would be appreciated.?
I think only Miflash, with first nougat rom works for you. Save user data. Works for me, after I tried Lineage OS.

Without reason? Probably THIS is the reason. I think your problem is related to data partition and a flash with Miflash can't help you. Only a factory reset can solve this.

When memory is almost full R/W errors can occur.
Maybe 90% you see is not including temporary-swap files, so that you are dangerously close to 100% storage filled.

Here are some of the links where you can find the official rom in .zip format. Check if they are compatible with MiFlash tool-
https://firmwarefile.com/xiaomi-mi-a1
https://dhananjaytech.com/flash-stock-rom-mi-a1-through-twrp/
Here is the XDA thread- https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/development/rom-tissot-stock-oreo-8-0-rooted-t3735760.
I'll be happy if this was helpful.

Without reason? Probably THIS is the reason. I think your problem is related to data partition and a flash with Miflash can't help you. Only a factory reset can solve this.

Thank you for the help, there seems just no way to save user data, factory reset is the only option.
