Looks to be correct. Unsure on global ROM but the 8.2 China stable does list mi mix...But it's not up yet. Fingers crossed it is 7.0
Updated to 8.2.2
Still Android version 6.0 which is disappointing. The change is nice however. The first few boots have some issue like slow down but it is fixed now.

Where did you find the DL?
Are you sure it is "MIUI 8.2 Global Stable" for the Mix? Where did you find the DL?
It just automatically download and asks me to update.
Didn't even press check for update.

You're totally right. Global Stable 8.2 ist definately coming for our beloved Mi Mix very soon.
Its listed in the official forum under devices which are receiving the Global version in the coming 2 weeks rollout
and since the device was launched in Dubai 1 or 2 nights ago we will definately get the taste of Global rom very soon i guess
Yay even more useless features which nobody uses more than 2 times, just so they can say "we update a lot".
Seriously the MIUI development is the most messy one to date.

If you've been dreaming about picking up the gorgeous looking Xiaomi Mi MIX, but you don't live in China, there is still hope for you yet. The manufacturer says that the 6.4-inch phablet will be available starting next month in the UAE. One Xiaomi executive, who was asked whether this is the start of a global roll out for the device, answered in the affirmative and added that the "Mi MIX will be making its way to other markets."

Would be fun to see, but it will probably be as buggy if not more than the current N ROMs available.

I'm not a representative but i believe they've got some progress with Oreo (it boots now, but don't go and ask the developers if it is true, wait patiently).
Regarding bugs, I think Oreo might give a tough time just like Nougat when it was built on Marshmallow sources. But the development is much healthy now so I guess things will be much better now.

Hopefully they will, it would be great to see stable ROMs, I might even try one then, but for now the stock stuff is just fine.

This ROM is currently released to random users and based on the feedback then afterwards released to all users, or kept back.
More details here: http://en.miui.com/thread-1615966-1-1.html
I already have seen the release notes of it, most importantly it's already based on Google Security Updates of 1. January 2018, so it's really new
Edit:
It's now officially released
Download for Mi 5s here: http://en.miui.com/download-314.html

And when you use [ROM] prefix you should provide files.

It would be really cool if there was a community that would do the same customization as Xiaomi.eu, but in the global ROMs. Xiaomi.eu only customizes the Chinese ROMs.

This is normal behavior. They go to sleep when not used. Also Android 7 contains stricter security measures, which hide certain system information from apps, like this CPU information.
As long as CPU benchmarks are the same speed and not 25-50% slower, there is no problem.
Edit: and I also just now am receiving the update
Updated my first post, it's now officially released and in Xiaomi download portal available.

This is a official version they just came out with. You need to use a hlte version and not a vzw version. Here is a link for the gapps
https://sourceforge.net/projects/unofficial-opengapps-8-1/files/arm/
If it gives you a message about you cannot download on this device switch to a normal browser and ask for the desktop version of the site. Then it will allow you to download with no problems
Be sure to hit the thanks button on the opening post for this ROM! The developer @vidwhal has put in a lot of work building three different versions of this ROM and is producing some excellent results!

If there are any custom Oreo ROMs for our T-810, they are a very well kept secret.
the lead developer @T_I had some life stuff come up, and hasn't had a chance to look at bringing up the 810 to Oreo yet. Wish I knew enough to figure out how to help out with it.

Indeed, I'm battling with a concussion, very limiting my screen time. Also, to be honest, @RaymanFX is the lead developer for the 2015 Tab S2 models, I just managed to adapt his code for the T810 (not to difficult) and the T710/5 (bigger challenge, still needs a lot of work).
My prio at this point is to get the T710/5 functioning before putting time in, unless RaymanFX wants to start work on Oreo for the T815, then I can test the other devices. (alas, no real work for a while, just barely managing to get 4h of work in a day)

hi, not to open a new thread:
but official there is also Nougat 7.1 for the S2 2015 version.
Can i flash this and root it per superSu?
Is there any custom kernal avialble?
or better an "original" Rom just moded?
thanks for answers in advance
adddy2
The answer is quite easy.
CustomROMs would be easier to create if there'd be an official Oreo ROM from Samsung. The SM-T810 is still on Nougat (I got a "new" update a couple of days ago, which only "updated" the security patch level...).
Since Samsung released the S3 Tablet, there won't be any effort spend into developing an official Oreo Rom in this "older" Tablet, imo. The SM-T810 has an Exynos 5433 CPU (and not a Qualcomm), which means we're facing closed-source and therefore smooth and fully working CustomROMs won't be very likely.
The question is: Why do you want a custom ROM at all?
The stock Nougat ROM can be debloated (e. g. via Neked Maker), rooted, Xposed can be installed.
All is working fine, and you can customize it very much.
What feature are you looking for in a custom ROM which isn't possible with stock ROM??

There's no stock Oreo rom. For me, it's not that I want a custom rom, it's more that I want an Oreo rom.
Actually possessor of a T715 Tab S2. I saw someone managed to build an Oreo rom for T710, if the rom will come also for the sim variant it will be really great! We have to forget about samsung spending time for "old" devices....Instead thanks all the developers teying to get the best out of this tab and updating it.
P.s give me a working fingerprint and i'll give you mi life lol
