No custom rom till yet.

Something has changed?

No custom rom is available for the moment, but if you've some skills with Linux and CyanogenMod, you can build CM 12.1 for the ZenFone 2 Laser (Asus have released the kernel code source which is available to download on the Asus Website )

Till today it is not possible, because the bootloader is locked, so you cant flash any recovery to flash custom roms...

On ZE500KL ? How did you unlocked the bootloader?

The Laser ZE500KL appears to be almost identical in specs to other phones based on the Qualcomm MSM8916 (Snapdragon 410) SoC, e.g. 5-in screen at 1280x720, 2GB RAM, 16 GB eMMC. So maybe you can try the ROMs for the 2nd generation Android One phones, which are all based on the same SoC (codename SEED). Yet another MSM8916-based phone is the Wileyfox Swift, which is officially supported by CyanogenOS. Take a look at the specs and compare your phone:

I followed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-2-laser/general/wip-finding-to-root-ze500kl-t3223797 and found working trwp on the net. I will post a link tomorow so you can download twrp
ZE500KL rooted et TWRP installed :

Yes, we know there is this floating twrp recovery that works, but we have yet to RE it to understand how it works.
It come from a russian site and is not well documented.

No custom rom is available for now -- but I believe we would probably get one around 2016 as the phone gains traction.

I was thinking, a ton of people probably are waiting for christmas, to give this phone, so it probably will be 2016 haha

now we can easily get custom recovery and roms, i request to developers to make cyanogen mod for asus ze500kl

FlymeOS Downgrade

Hello,
I have Meizu M1 Note with FlymeOS 4.5.6I and I really don't like it. It's buggy like a hell.
I cannot downgrade, it always give me an error about corrupt firmware.
I tried to download multiple times and also more versions. I want back FlymeOS 4.2.0.6 (Kitkat)
Is there anybody who can help me ?

TWRP Version?

first upgrade to marshmallow ,, then unlock bootloader and install twrp
after that flash roms

Singapore based LeTV Le Max 2

Hi all,
I have Singapore-based LeTV Le Max 2 and I am using this device in India, I have inserted Airtel SIM and it isn't getting the network.
Could anyone have any idea to get the Indian network in the foreign-based phone?

@suhasgkakathkar I highly recommend switching to custom ROMs as EUI ROM is ancient and doesn't have up to date APN settings anyways. We have Android 11 ROMs that are stable and work great on x2, plus there's also Android 12 ROMs that are in beta status but I wouldn't recommend those for daily use
