Hi guys, after spending ages trying to get the right files to Downgrade, then waiting 12 hours to download the correct firmware from Chinese forums that D/L at 20kbps - I ahve decided top share my Dropbox folder with you so you can access all you need
This is all you need to Downgrade the 858HK to 10d, then root it and install TWRP (I used Flashify off the PLAY STORE to install TWRP)
I hope this helps (if it does say thanks)

2. Root it with Stump-v1.2.0 and install SuperSu.apk
3. Install TWRP 2.8.1.0 using this apk (there are few words in Chinese when you open apk but very intuitive) D858_TWRP_2.8.1.0
4. Download and install the zip recovery format of the Lollipop rom via TWRP d858hk-v20d_ok.zip MD5: b6fe9ac019a49aab5fbff74787e4806a (Thanks to bbs.gfan forum)

Once TWRP 2.8.1.0 is installed you can also upgrade it to twrp-2.8.5.1_d858-bumped
hello guys.below is the easiest method to root your phone and install TWRP recovery.
Download
1) twrp recovery
2) usb drivers
from here - http://androidurdu.net/download-and-install-new-2-8-7-0-twrp-on-lenovo-k3-note-mt6752/
Now after downloading the above
download recovery lemon k3 note from https://userscloud.com/yexc173ibpv8.
download flash tool from https://userscloud.com/958tvsa17724.
download SuperSU v2.46 from https://userscloud.com/o8m7u398nmv5
Now let's begin with the exciting part
1. put SuperSU in your external sd card before flashing recovery.
2. now open flash tool .exe .
3. select MT6752 Android_scatter.txt from recovery lemon k3 note folder.
4. uncheck all options except recovery and select the twrp recovery image file.
5. in flash tool go to options->download-> chech the box with 'da dl all with checksum'.
remove the battery and connect the phone to pc. start download .wait for 5 seconds and put the battery without disconnecting the phone from the pc.
after the download is complete boot into recovery and install supersu.zip.
your phone is now rooted and you can try new roms!!!
p.s.- cm12.1 beta 1 for k3 note- call feature is not working.
Thanks, I have already rooted it.. Any way to unroot to get the latest OTA?
BTW what do you mean by call feature is Not working in last line?
Well you can unroot using SuperSU .it has got an option for permanent unroot. I am not sure about this method but u can try this.
By call.. I mean that cm12.1 has still got bugs and presently sim feature(ril) is not working.
Hi,
I want to go from 4.4.2 stock unrooted device to the official CM12.1 ROM. However, I am not sure what I need to do/have and the order in which I should proceed in order to make the process safe and optimal. I think that if someone more knowledgeable writes a simple guide here on in a separate thread on this topic it will be immensely helpful to the community.
Thanks in advance!
You only have to follow three guides:
1. Root your device
2. Install TWRP
3. Flash CM
Download-
1. Kingroot android app
2. Twrp manager app
3. Cm12.1
All you need to is-
1. Root your phone using kingroot app.
2. After rooting install twrp recovery by twrp manager app.
3. Then boot your phone into recovery mode and click on "install" then choose cm12.1
You don't need a pc for this... GOOD LUCK
Download-
1. Kingroot android app
2. Flashify (from the play store)
3. Twrp manager app
4. Cm12.1
5. Open Gapps (ones you prefer, I use mini)
All you need to is-
1. Root your phone using kingroot app.
2. Install Flashify & make a backup of stock kernel & recovery.
3. Install twrp recovery. Boot into TWRP recovery using power + volume down keys (while phone is off). THEN USE IT TO MAKE COMPLETE COSTUME BACKUP! Check every single partition to make a backup of (you may consider for the size reasons skipping the data partition, that is one containing apps you installed). Transfer this backup to a PC or other safe storage & take a good care of it because when ever you screw up things this one will allowe you to get back to stock. Also do the same with Flashify Kernel & stock recovery backups.
4. Boot into TWRP recovery using power + volume down keys (while phone is off). If not already there. Do the wipe! Install CyanogenMod 12.1 (I strongly recommend last official build) & after that install Gapps.
You are done with installing.
Lett it boot for a first time (which takes some time), do a initial required setup & after that go to options about the phone & tap on revision number until you enable developer options, then go into developer options & enable root access (to regain it) for apps & ADB.
& there you go. I leave future installing & adjusting what ever you want to your preferred choice.
How to flash official CM 12.1
1. Download ODIN v3.07 or higher.
2. Download TWRP Recovery (Tar.md5)
3. Download Auto root file for S3 Neo (Tar.md5)
4. Download Official CM 12.1.
6. PUT cm12.1 zip file to your internal or external memory.
5. Root from ODIN.
6. Flash Recovery for ODIN.
7. Get into recovery by pressing vol up+lock button
8. Clear data, install Zip file.
9. Restart your device.
10. Done :good:

eek:n reboot a notice pops up saying vendor image is a mismatch. So I downloaded the correct image file OPM 7.181205.001 and the radio and bootloader files to my phone. Now what do I do with the files? I am 74 and a non-techie guy. Help! Thanks!
You boot into the bootloader and install the updated bootloader and radio with fastboot. The updated vendor image can be installed with TWRP.
If you dont care about your data (or just backup it) you can redo everything:
1. Use the official latest google image for the nexus 6p to reinstall the whole os with the command "flash-all": https://developers.google.com/android/images#angler
2. Download official TWRP image (the part with the download links): https://twrp.me/huawei/huaweinexus6p.html and follow the "Fastboot Install Method (No Root Required):" part
3. Boot into the now installed twrp recovery and install the latest lineageos image
3.5(optional) install latest opengapps pico image form here https://opengapps.org/ to have the closed source google crap.
4. Done. You have now latest bootloader, latest radio, latest vendor, latest twrp and latest Lineageos.
Here is the procedure to root samsung galaxy j7 (2016) or j710fn oreo update 8.1.0:
step1: download latest twrp
step2: flash the latest twrp using odin( please note that before flashing ensure to uncheck the autoreboot options from the option tab, if you dont do that the custom recovery will overwrite to stock recovery after booting into the ROM and you wont find any custom recovery there.)
step3: after flashing download the latest magisk zip or you can do that by using magisk manager also.
step4: place the latest magisk zip in the sd card or ext. sd card( your choice) and then download the latest magsik-defex zip(link down below) and copy it into the sd card.
step5: shut down and now boot into the recovery by pressing vol-up+home+power
step6: now flash the latest magisk, after that flash magisk-defex zip immediately withouth booting into the ROM.
step7: now boot into the ROM download the magisk manager you should find the magisk latest version installed on the device.
thank you

Thank you for your sharing. I had to flash no-verity-opt-encrypt after flashing Magisk. In TWRP I chose ReadOnly then wiped Cache and Data then flashed the Magisk and right after flashing it without rebooting, I flashed no-verity-opt-encrypt.
HERE is a link to download the Magisk zip and the NoVerityOptEncrypt
**Please note, the files I have uploaded are the latest BUT updates will be released and my files will be old one day!!**

Hi, I am trying to follow exactly the instructions with the latest builds of TWPR and Magisk but after boot to Rom I always receive this nasty message ''Verification failed'' and I have to install again the 8.1 firmware and start from the beginning to no avail. https://cdn-cf-3.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
- SM- J710FN
- firmware: 710FXXU6CSG2_J710FOJV6CSG1_J710FXXU6CSG3_HOME.tar.md5
- Odin3 v3.13.1
- TWRP: twrp-3.2.1-0-j7xelte.img.tar
- Magisk: Magisk-v19.3
- no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1
I would very much appreciate your ideas...
