I am following the development of Omnirom to install on my device, Huawei Stream XGL07S:
h t t p : / / gpad.tv/phone/eacccess-emobile-streamx-gl07s/
I think this device is sold in Japan only, so it is not popular at all, but its specs looks to be similar to Ascent P6.
Did someone try to install omni-4.4.2 on it?

I googled for it, and I got the same information.
I think the device is a little different, cause it support the function "osaifukeitai", similar (but not compatible) with NFC.
By the way, the support will be the same.

I just got a Huawei Ascend G740 and am looking to install a custom ROM on it.
I've been searching on Google for a while but haven't found any webpage I trust enough to download files from.
Can anyone recommend a custom ROM for this device?
I'm open to suggestions to what this contains as long as it results in a better device than a standard G740.

Thats an huawei issue, because u use a rom based on EMUI 8 you cant use a sound mod,
lets hope there will be customs kernels available for the P Smart
So...I'm not an EMUI fan and as you know I have a Huawei P Smart and I downloaded Treble Checker and it's supported (Slot A) but I tried everything I could to unlock the bootloader and I can't...
Is there any free way to get my Bootloader unlocked on my FIG-LX1???

Only way is with DC Unlocker for like $5 which is not much.. i also have FIG-LX1 thinking of doing it soon also. Maybe you can try first and tell me if newer ROMs are any good.

I have unlocked bootloader ...Its useful for getting root ...But project treble is a bust for p smart .. all A only GSI images and custom roms comes with some sort of bug that forces everyone back to stock and there is no dedicated dev with a p smart of building specifivcally for p smart ...But you need root to use the phone in a meaningful way and not to be a slave to huawei.

What are some of the best features you use on P Smart after getting root.?
Good day. Can I ask how you unlocked the bootloader
Sorry for bothering with that topic again, but I'm more than confused on the information i found here and on the Internet.
So, I have a older P10 plus and it had needed to be replaced by a new phone because of some strange behavior that are reported by other users as well (Phone reboots for sudden when using camera and after reboot battery capacity dramatically decreased).
Because of that, and because i think this is a glitch in the Huawei EMUI i want to try LinageOS or any other Custom ROM on the phone.
First i recognize that i need to unlock the Bootloader, okay lets assume their is a solution for the bootloader problem, but now the confusion starts.
Firstly i didn't find any detailed installation guide for the installation of LinageOS, second some sides mentioned its possible (without any facts) some mentioned it's totally impossible to install any Custom ROM on that phone.
So, can anybody provide some updates on that topic and secondly, can come of you support me to install a Custom ROM on that phone ??
