Not enough info, you need to spell out what you flashed, root?, did it work prior to what you flashed

I already did it but nothing happen. I also tried to erase modem via twrp fastboot and adb but nothing happen.
Under lineage os i tried to change radio band to automatic (there is only two options : united stzte and automatic) it says fail.
I m stuck. I read in some threads that some people with same issue succeded to solve it by flashing modem from other working variants.is that posdible?

If you already flashed a full kdz for your variant it should have installed the proper modem, so if you have an issue then it might be a hardware failure

It may be a late response, but might still help others. You could try using the modified LG UP from the V30 forums. Just download the LG Up modified zip, unzip it to the folder where you installed LG UP. Run LG UP, select KDZ, partition DL, then select all.
Link of tools and/or zips: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...us998-t3736910

i have the same issue on this on my LG v50 no service. radio Off. no network service overall regardless if i put different sim cards or GSm providers. i Bought the phone with no service overall. i already flash this using LGup both Refurbish or PARTITION DL / SELECT ALL but to no avail.

[Q] Nexus 4 Lollipop 5.1 How do I enable LTE 4G

I updated to stock 5.1 from 5.0.2 yesterday. Prior to this I had LTE 4G on T-Mobile. Now I'm back to 3G . Does anyone else have this experience? and are ther any solutions out there I could use?
I'd value any input or advice on this issue.
Thanks
I tried too to revert 4g on my 5.1 n4 but after i wiped everything ( excepting system ... ) i got a lovely bsod ( blank screen of death ) i don't think is a sollution yet , if i done something wrong someone please explain us how to get it properly back w/o probs , wait for some ideas thanks .
You'll obviously need to be sure the hybrid modem is installed. Beyond that as I recall, I had to "force" it to see the LTE network by dialing *#*#4636#*#* and selecting "LTE only" for the connection. After that I was able to set it to "LTE/GSM auto" and it has worked correctly since.

I tried that but it did not offer the ability to make that change. I could on 5.0.2. I'm not sure where to get the hybrid modem? any Ideas would be helpful. also does anyone know which hybrid modem to use for T-mobile? Thanks
Go to settings -> About Phone
The Android software version number and baseband (modem) version will be listed. If the last 2 digits of the baseband version is greater than 33, you will not have LTE capability.

I'm sorry for being a little slow on this, but when you say reboot to recovery, what do you mean exactly? I have the file downloaded though. Is this a hack or is this something that was made for this phone by Google? I guess what I'm asking is, could I screw up my phone from doing this and if I do, can I revert back to where I had it prior to this if it doesn't work or don't like it?

To help your self out It might be useful if you read the post from the following link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60115195&postcount=771
It will help you understand the whole process and how to do it. It will also give you lots of background on the issue.
To perform the "Flash" I use the Nexus Root Toolkit. which can be found here.
I hope this helps you. Let us know how it goes
This is perfect! Thank you!
I'm noticing that the settings done keep after a reboot. I don't have to reflash the modem, but I do have to go back into the 4636 settings to re-enable LTE. I've heard this might be fixable in the build.prop? Any thoughts?

You do it straight from your phone. Download the file, boot into your Recovery, go to the folder you saved the file in (likely in your "Downloads" folder, and just flash the .zip file from your Phone's recovery, and it will do all the necessaries.
It worked flawlessly when I flashed that zip from recovery. All relevant settings changed from 3G to 4G and HSPA to LTE. Speed went from 10 to 36mbps (Telus Canada). ROM is 5.1.1 LMY48T

Thanks that got almost work for me but it says its for android 5.1+ and I am on android 6.0.1 aosp ROM.
But after that I flashed this and bingoo. I can use LTE only in Android 6.
Used this http://www.mediafire.com/?2thymqa7fiiyrqy
Now I can able to click on 'only LTE' from phone info
And it stays at LTE only.
Before this when I goto phone info and it got gsm or wcdma even I click on LTE now its working for me.
I found that zip file from anywhere else I don't know where so I had uploaded and shared here.
Here is what I found about version check. Give it a try if you wish
a) expand nexus-4-lte-enabler-v2.13.zip
b) edit META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script
c) replace 5.1 with 6.0.1 in this line
( is_substring("5.1", file_getprop("/system/build.prop","ro.build.version.release")) )
d) update zip with new file
e) flash zip

Can someone help me restore my phone back imei is gone after using restore to stock

I used a restore to stock tool and now my cellular radio doesn't work. I'm pretty decent at trouble shooting. I have tried every thing I know to fix it and it is still broken. I have tried rsd lite to restore it fails when it flashes modem (IMG to large). I have tried flashing stock firmware line for line in fast Boot to no avail. I have tried several custom ROMs I am out of answers so I'm turning it over to you XDA.

I have tried that also when I do it will not boot up. Everything works but cellular data when I try to make a call it says turn airplane mode off and they deffinetly aren't on and in the back ground where the numbers are it says radio off it will not let me turn them on. I even tried in adb with " adb shell put settings global airplane_mode_on 0" it still says turn airplane mode off to make a call.

Reflash the stock radios from the correct image for your device, or reflash the complete stock image via fastboot.
AIO or "one-click" tools are bad news on Moto devices... Avoid them and do it manually, my best guess is something didn't restore properly.

Had the same thing happen to me after flashing back to stock, Baseband Unknown, IMEI Unknown. Found solution in a different Motorola device thread that worked for me.
Flash the modem twice.
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash fsg fsg.bin
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot
Happened to me a few times. I Just flashed the modem zip floating around around here via twrp. Great score on the 64gb replacement. :highfive:

baseband lost help.

Hi ALL,
I have typed wrong value in my NV 01878 via QXDM, then baseband went to unknown and SIM card lost state.
Now I cannot flash back the NV backup via QFIL, it will keep returning "checking the phone connection",
and QXDM shows the RX error after I trying to read 01878, so I cannot write it back to value 244.
But I still can enter the fastboot, TWRP.
And also tried to flash the modem "Modem 28S.zip", which downloaded in www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1385276
Could anybody please tell me is any other way I can try??
Many thanks,

Hi lazye53,
Nope, I already tried this one also, but seems debug port unstable so that both QPST download and QXDM ran any operation then returned
The phone is not in Diagnostics Mode
Unstable means the port state keep changing between no phone and MSM8996
I observed that after a while, phone will go to black screen, and QPST state shows download mode.
I searched that this mode only supports emmcswdownload.exe
Do you think I should use emmcswdownload.exe to run mass flash on X720? any recommended ROM??
Best wishes,
I do not have enough knowledge to understand what you said.
With this method, my friend solved the problem.

Lg V20 unlock bootloader problem

I have bought this secondhand handset, he says that it's us996 series, and when i check it in the setting information, it says us996 series, but then i decided to unlock bootloader, we know that us996 series could be unlocked legally, so when i follow the instruction, including put my IMEI and device ID in LG developer website to get permissions, the website says that my handset is LS997, so it can't unlocked legally, could any of you solve this problem? I desperately need your help, thank you (english is not my native language, so sorry for the language)

The problem is you got sold a ls997 that got flashed with us996 firmware including the bootloader while it was still possible. The solution is to use it as is, return it, or root it with the dirty Santa method and make sure you use a kernel with the dirty Santa fix (since most kernels/roms labeled just us996 won't have it)

You need to roll back to version 10f, grab LG up from this thread, put it in
C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\
Grab the firmware
Put your phone into download mode (power off / hold vol. up / plug in USB cable).
And then use the upgrade option in LG up to downgrade. Then follow the dirty Santa instructions

Probably intentionally removed, its literally impossible to miss. It takes up a large part of the back of the battery compartment (here's my factory unlocked us996 sticker on the original screen assembly). The clean back area is of course the battery compartment. The model being listed as LG-US996 (instead of US996) and the USA on the side (as opposed to BPT or UCL) differentiate the factory unlocked from the other two us996 variants

That's just it: there's no ls997 firmware but it can flash other variant's firmware (except the T-Mobile h918) as long as it hadn't gone past a certain ls997 update (others reading this thread in the future, don't try it, if it's been on Sprint firmware and been updated in the past century it's impossible, think the last Sprint update that could was ZV6 or ZV7 iirc).
Since it's on US996 firmware it should be fine. Also a good idea to use the dump option in LG UP to backup the modem, modemst1 and modemst2, and misc before you reflash with LG UP, basically everything but user data won't hurt.

that was basically all there is to it.
Get LG UP (put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP) the firmware (kdz)
Put your phone in download mode by powering off, holding volume up and then connecting to the PC. Open LG UP.
Hit dump option, hit select all, uncheck user data on the partition list, then click ok. Since the phone was originally the LS997 the modem may be wierd so having a known good modem and modemst1 and modemst2 backup (done by that dump) is a good idea.
After the dump actually rollback by selecting the upgrade button and adding the kdz to the bottom section.

Flash a kdz with patch level of december 2016 using same above method. After that root using your preferred rooting method (Mine is given in signature, need to see in desktop mode). Then flash either SuperV20 or Vincent ROM and you should be fine (Let's hope so). I personally like Vincent more because it is based upon UX 6.0, looks nice and have most things ironed out.

Then flash either SuperV20 or Vincent ROM and you should be fine (Let's hope so). I personally like Vincent more because it is based upon UX 6.0, looks nice and have most things ironed out.

I can't, because my variant is ls997, and the variant itself doesn't have .kdz file, i tried it once using LGUP but it says error LS997->US996

Does a thing come up saying it's locked, or do you just not have service? Have you gone through the dirty Santa guide and finished rooting?

No service/wifi after oreo update

Hi,
i just flashed with TWRP the official oreo update from the ZTE site.
Now i get no service.
To do the initial setup I had to put my SIM card into another phone otherwise I couldn't get passed the setup.
I can see that the SIM is inserted in to the phone and the phone finds it (in the mobile network settings it sees it as SIM 1 instead of SIM SLOT 2 and he let me change the APN and the preferred network type).
When i try to change the call settings it says "Call settings error - Network or SIM card error".
Also some how I cannot connect to my wifi. To finish the setup a friend used his phone to hotspot me and it worked. I can even see the other networks, but I cannot see mine anymore.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks

Did you use the correct modem/radio file with the bootstack?
Eg: the A2017 A2017G and A2017U all use different modem/radio files, make sure you are using the correct one for your model.
Hope this helps

Well, you were right. I just checked. The official one is A2017U, mine is a A2017G. Damn, I even checked it before flashing.
So now what? Should I get back to 7.1.1 or should I flash another oreo ROM?

You can probably get it fixed by just flashing your device modem. Look at the LOS 15.1 thread OP for the link.

I found it but my main problem right now is that with the update root and TWRP went away.
I tried to flash it with fastboot but everytime it just boots. So I decided to try with ADB sideload and it gave me this error when he verify the package:
E: footer is wrong
E: Signature verification failed
E: error: 21
So right now i'm stuck here. I tried with TWRP and the device modem directly but no luck, it gives me the same error.

Looks like your bootloader is locked ( i think stock B20 does that) so you can't flash anything not signed. The is an old twrp from the MM B20 days that was signed but would probably not work on new bootstack. You will probably have to EDL back to a 7.1.1. for the G model to get the right modem back and to unlock the bootloader again. Then check the threads on how to flash B20 withouth relocking bootloader ( might not be possible at the moment i have not kept up with day to day info)
Try using the Edl tool by @djkuz
Or try the Axon7 tool kit, if you still have the current ROM.
Use the flash section and flash the correct modem/radio zip, see if that works.
If you have root access try changing the NON-HLOS.bin file (modem/radio file) with the correct version and restart your phone.
I'm not sure if that will work but its worth a try.
There are 2 setups with the NON-HLOS.bin and flashable version and replacement file.

Oh man, thank you so much. After reading threads the entire week I came to the conclusion that EDL was the only solution since I don't have access to root. But since I already failed one time I wasn't sure about it.
With this message you saved my life. Can I ask you one thing? I already tried to flash something through the Axon7Toolkit but I got stopped by the fastboot not working. If I want to have root access after I *hopefully* fix the modem, should I stick to EDL or is there another way to get the bootloader unlocked since it's bugged in the developer options (I already tried to do it with the Axon7toolkit but, again, I got stopped by the fastboot)?
Once again, thank you so much.

I have Axon7tool kit, Edl tool by @djkuz and Miflash
I find sometimes a combination of them can get you up and running.
I've been using Edl tool to prep my phone and then flash Edl packages via Miflash.
You are most welcome btw.
did youbsolved the problem? i got an similar one.
