Hey guys!
I just want to know if someone with J7 Pro out there had managed to enable EIS? I Googled and there was this article about enabling EIS for any gyro-equipped phone by editing the build.prop. I tried but didn't work.
I badly need this feature as our camera has no stabilization whatsoever making videos very shaky; esp I used to have a G3 with advance OIS.

Why not just use a camera app that provides it?
There are some camera apps that are far better than stock.

does it not have continuous autofocus already? i havent used the video recorder much, but if i recall right, there were some sorts of adjustments on the screen (which i assume is autofocus ) last time i recorded something.

Maybe a Mod or something? I saw phones like xperia z1 with mods on the camera to enable this feature.

no mods currently for now... even compared to custom roms, stock camera works best

Yes, i have to agree with you. This phone's camera is great. Yesterday i compared it with a buddy's OnePlus 3 and in some cases this phone gets better results.
Maybe in the future we can add more development on this device

You'll need Camera HALs, camera driver sources, & a LOT of time to mod it to get it even remotely working. Previously, in a Moto G2 thread, we had discussed this and realized that it wasn't worth that effort...

Does anybody know if oneplus is planning on implementing the pro mode for videoshooting like LG does ?
or can we do it through a mod or 3rd party app ?
if so then video shooting will be sick , specially using manual focus :good:
Of cours after they fix the actual bugs and lacks in the camera app like EIS in 4K
Any word yet on manual focus for videos or an alternate camera app that would do it?

Have you found any good config for Bigkaka and this phone or do you stick with default settings?
Yes use default kaka daylight.
It s ok me but need less oversharpening .
Im not able to edit config need tutorial.
