ps: Internal Storage can´t be Repair or change File System in Wipe/Advanced Wipe option repair or change file system

First things first, try booting regardless, every time I flash the stock Oreo rom V20A, it says no os installed
(I recommend having an SD card to put the rom on) go to wipe and format your data, once having done that wipe everything Dalvik, Data, System, Cache. But not the SD card. Then after that, go to flash, select your SD card then flash the rom.

Can't install custom ROM

Hello.
Today i was trying to install custom ROM on Defy.
I successfully root it and install bootmenu.
But, when I trying to install zip from sdcard with recovery, it shows: 'Can't mount sdcard'.
How to solve it?

Just be sure you follow the instructions right. If you use the search bar I'm sure you'll find the answer. I think that I saw the same problem here.
Good luck
@Vicsa I'm sure I do everything right. I even follow the steps in link you put in, but this don't work too. I tried other SD card; the same problem.
have you tried re-formatting your sd card? try copying your files on you desktop then reformat it and the transfer again. did you wipe cache partition?
Which custom rom you are installing and what is your present stock sbf .. i.e froyo or gingerbread. !!

I don't think it does matter, cause I just need now to access sdcard from Recovery.
Flash froyo sbf first.
I also had a problem mounting something, but don't remember if it was sdcard or system.

don't wipe dalvik cache until after custom rom install?
could be outdated recovery too

cannot delete from from internal sdcard

I searched but could not find the answer. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I am a semi-noob.
I've been trying to find the right rom for me and I installed cm10 with no problems.
After that, I tried cleanrom v1.1, but it would not boot.
Since then I cannot write or remove files from internal sdcard.
Can someone point me in the right direction to remedy this situation?
can you not remove from it when you are booted into the rom or when u r on PC ?
format it and do data reset, wipe cache in recovery, flash the rom afresh .

I was unable to remove files when booted into the rom. I did not try from PC.
Formatting the internal sdcard did the trick. I wasn't sure if that would be destructive.
Thanks for your help.
formatting storage solves 60 percent of most of our small time problems, even for symptoms like rebooting / freezing etc
but keep a back up

Boot to recovery (I reccomend orangefox) wipe cache, dalvik, data, system > flash rom > flash gapps (optional) > flash magisk (optional) if after reboot it ask for password you have to format data (i've noticed that if you flash magisk before booting the system the password isn't required). If you come from miui maybe you need to flash vbmeta before rom (i'm not sure but it doesn't hurt)

If you don't have SD Card then don't wipe Internal Storage. But Clean Flash always recommend.

Ok so if you want to reinstall your app and data after flashing the rom you can backup with titanium backup or migrate. Reboot to recovery and wipe cache, dalvik, system and data after this flash the rom (you can flash it from internal storage) after the rom without rebooting to the system flash gapps (optional) and magisk (I reccomend to flash magisk so you can restore the backup and it avoid to have the problem with password request). Reboot to system

Maybe you have wiped also internal storage or format data? If you wipe just cache, dalvik, data and system you must found the files in the download folder.
Thank you bro

You're welcome. Aniway you can always download the needed files in your pc then connect the phone to it and transfer the files in the internal memory

Help Not Sure what Happened

Hi guys can someone help me? I have rn7 128 global with corvus rom for almost 2years now and recently my device shutdown and stuck in bootlogo so i try to navigate it using twrp and once i click reboot it says no OS installed so i decided to go back to stock rom i downloaded the fastboot stock rom and while I'm trying to flash it using fashboot in miflash tool it always says Flashing for almost 30 minutes and nothing happens and i try to disconnect it on my laptop and try to go on recovery mode the twrp is gone. So i decided to install again the twrp.img on cmd and i got the twrp and i transferred the corvus v7.0 again from my laptop to my device while im in twrp but i just noticed from 128 it says 9gb available so after flashing the corvus rom again i set it up and try to install messenger and fb but it says no storage available and once i check the storage it showing i only have 9gb I don't know what happened my device is having 128 but it only showing 9gb total and 8.93 gb available i dont know what to do
You format not wipe in twrp the data partition?
I wipe the cache dalvik and the system. I already fixed the issue of the partition now it showing the true 128gb on my rn7 but the problem is still on bootloop i already have the corvus rom I don't know how to go back on stock rom or what rom can i flash to use my device like before?
