Can you try boot to download mode (Press volume down when turn on your phone)

It reboots on htc powered by android screen, never pass that screen. and i only enter to bootloader menu direct when pressing volume key and power, i dont have a menu before, and there is i press the download mode or recovery mode phone restarts gets to HTC screen and reboots.
I try using the adb commands but i connect the phone to my laptop, it is shown in devices as android device my htc, but the adb devices never recognize it. So i cant to anything there. I was thinking of using XTC2Clip(no sure if that helps and how it works), but i cant affort to buy that and not work. So any recomendations on what else i can do i will appreciate.
in bootloader screen i have sotftware status official, locked s-on production.. and actually to get to that screen i need to press volumen keys up and down and power for awhile to get there, if i only press volumen down and power when it gets th HTC screen it reboots.
Thanks

[Q] galaxy s root

hi
just got my sgs gti9000, and like the phone alot, however I am trying to root and lag fix my phone, the problem I have is getting the phone to reboot, I have held the buttons (volume up, power and home) at the same time until the screen comes on then release but the phone re-starts and does not go into recovery mode, can anyone help. Many thanks
When you see the boot screen wait a sec and release power but keep holding the other buttons
there are other ways to go into the Recovery Mode, to use the UPDATE.ZIP to root the phone
you can connect the phone to the PC
set USB to Debug Mode
then issue an adb.exe reboot recovery
anyways for full details follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7538723&postcount=2
the phone you have got the 3 buttons disabled, that's why it is not working

[SOLVED] "Downloading... do not turn off device" Help!

Before anyone links me to different threads, the device this is happening to does work, it is still a big concern of mine though
My problem is that when I press the Power and Volume up buttons to start up my tablet, instead of getting all of the normal options (Restart boot loader, Recovery mode) I get a screen that says "Downloading... Do not turn off target" and I'm stuck on start (Volume buttons do nothing) but start still boots my device and it boots like normal without pressing any volume buttons
If it helps, it started doing this after a crash which my have done something to the firmware (But I'm not the smartest guy on this site)
My device is stock but rooted with an unlocked boot loader

On my N10, Power+Volume Down button will put it into "Downloading" mode and I have to press Power+Both Volume Up and Down at the same time to enter normal bootloader mode.

I think I bricked my ZTE Blade C2 v809

Please help me. I am in a sort of panic right now.
I have a ZTE Blade C2 v809, sold here in Portugal as Meo Smart A12. It was rooted and working fine. I was however getting some error 24's trying to install apps. I thought this might have had to do with using Titanium Backup to remove TouchPal (I did make a backup first), so I decided to restore TouchPal. There were however some errors in the restore and it was stuck there, so I decided to reboot the phone.
Chaos. Now it wont boot. If I press the button normally, the phone boots, I see the android logo, the screen goes black (Not shutdown black, a sort of light black background) and nothing happens. If I try to boot into Recovery mode by holding the power button and the volume down key, I just get the android logo stuck there, nothing happens. If I hold the power button and the volume up key, I get the picture of that laying down android with the message error.
Any more info I must provide please tell me, I am desperate for a solution, If I lose this phone I wont be able to get another one.
Okay I fixed it. Turns out the recovery menu DID work if I waited for a long time and tapped the screen. Used the update.zip available from the site, and it works like a charm
Yay, I bricked my phone, too.
I did something similar, changed recovery-from-boot.p name to recovery-from-boot.p-bak and install-recovery.sh to install-recovery.sh-bak
Now the phone doesn't boot properly, in fact it's stuck in a boot loop:
>starts
>shows white ZTE logo on screen
>restarts
Tried connecting the phone via USB cable and used fastboot devices & adb devices commands, no devices found.
Also tried pressing "power + vol down" and "power + vol up", nothing. I can't enter recovery mode or bootloader.
Apparently the remaining way to get in it's trough the SD slot, or maybe there's another way.
I kindly ask for help, couldn't be possible that I ruined this cell phone so fast.
Ideas, somebody?

Help! Stuck on black screen and cannot get to fastboot

I tried unrooting my 6T and something went wrong. Now when it boots it shows the bootloader unlocked warning then goes to black screen and stops. It will randomly vibrate when I press the screen or the power button. My computer doesn't recognize it and I can't even seem to be able to turn it off completely. The only thing I can get it to do is reboot by pressing and holding the power and volume up buttons.
Any advice on how I can force it into fastboot or get my computer to recognize it so I can working on it?

Keep pressing simultaneously volume up , volume down and power button all three of them until you get the fastboot screen.
It maybe takes a while...

like the first answer:
hold vol up, vol down and power butten as long as the phone boots into fastboot mode and flash fastboot Rom OR
hold vol up and vol down for about 5-6 seconds, and plug your phone to your computer. if it gets recognized (with typical sound of windows) try msm tool. And be sure you have the qualcomm driver installed.

LG G6 AS993 not booting to bootloader

I currently own an LG G6 AS993, and seeing as there is not going to be an OTA Pie update for the phone, I thought I'd go ahead and get a ROM instead. There's just one problem, and that is that I can't even get into the bootloader to unlock it.
Here's what I've tried:
1. Using ADB commands, adb reboot bootloader, adb reboot-bootloader, fastboot boot bootloader
The phone was recognized in adb devices, however, after entering these commands, the phone just booted normally back into android, like a normal restart.
2. Using the volume and power buttons. I held the volume up button and plugged in a cable that was connected to my PC, and it booted into 'Download Mode' and then proceeded to a "Firmware Update' screen. After pressing down the power button it brings me to another screen with the options to view some wifi details, 'Power Off', 'Phone Info', and 'Back', which brings you back to the "Firmware Update' screen.
I also tried the same but this time while holding down the volume down button, and it shows the phone booting for 2 seconds, and then turns off and proceeds to show the battery symbol with the amount of charge.
These are the only ways of getting into the bootloader I've seen for this phone, and they simply do not work, so if anybody could help that would be very much appreciated!
