S8 - Google Play Services Keeps Crashing, cant reinstall? - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

For some reason, my Google Play Services has been crashing for a week and all related apps crash including playstore.
I have now re-flash my phone without formatting to G950FXXU2CRED.
The PlayStore now works, but Google Play Services does not work. I can't uninstall as it doesn't allow me.
I have cleared the system cache, cleared the app cache, uninstalled previous updates....
Anyone got any ideas? Google Maps also crashes now because of it.

You did that. Excellent! But do you know how GSF affects your phone? It connects the google servers to your phone. Never uninstall that .. there was a thread somewhere.. it said "apps save to uninstall" or something. Follow that...

Play Store crashes on update

Whenever I try to update or download an app the play store downloads the necessary files and then instantly chrashes. The only message I get is "Google Play Store was closed". Afterwards I can reenter the Play Store without problems.
What I already tried:
- clear Play Store cache and settings
- delete Google account
- reboot several times
My device is running stock 4.2.1 with Play Store version 3.10.10.
Please help me :crying: Thanks button instant hit guaranteed.
I know you said you cleared your play store cache but did you also force stop it and clear all data as well? Try clearing data and force stopping Google services framework

No, stopping Play Store, clearing cache and stopping Google Services Framework couldn't fix the problem. I then tried to reset the Store to the factory version (3.9.17 I think) and wooosh updates are now working again :good: A bit panic was left that the Store App will get the same problem again once it updates itself to 3.1.10 but apparently it still updates perfect.

[SOLVED] Can't launch any google app (google play services error)

Hi
Just got my Note 4 and ran into the problems.
Google play services wont update.
I did factory reset few times and no luck. After adding my google account all google apps start updating. Once update is done I cant launch any app. Always getting an error that I need to update google services.
And everytime update can not be found in google play store.
Any ideas how to solve that?
Problem solved by deleting google play services update and updating again.

Unfortunatly google play store has stopped

Ok I keep on getting the error unfortunately google play store has stopped. I have gone into the application manager and cleared cache and data then opened up again and press ok and same thing. Deleted the app and then reinstalled and again I still cannot log in. Tried going into Google Play services to uninstall updates but its greyed out and I cannot click on this.
Not sure if app Lucky Patcher is messing things up on phone? Running Versions’ 5.0.1
Any other options?

Google Play store installed apps list is empty

Hello on my OP5 after the latest update (OxygenOS 5.1.4) the Play Store installed apps list is empty. This renders the auto-update function unusable. When I look for an app and update and/or install it that particular app is shown but anything else is still missing.
I have TWRP and root with magisk.
I have tried rebooting, clearing caches, reverting to factory and updating "google play services" and some other suggestions I have found online. Nothing has worked so far.

Have you deleted your Google account off your device and set it up again? Is your playstore certified?

Yes I removed all google accounts, cleared data and cache, rebooted the phone, and reconfigured google account.
This had no effect. I am almost sure that playstore is original.
You can try with Titanium Backup Pro, it has an option to fix broken Market links.
