HONOR 5x - L22 - Indian Firmware

Hi all,
I had chat with Huawei India guys. They say Android Marshmallow update for KIW -L22 may be available at the end of feb 16.
I hope it would come sooner.

Good work bro..any link for KIW-L22 stock rom.?

Yes, I could try.
Does this script requires bootloader to be unlocked.????
Because my bootloader is still locked.
Waiting for the 14 days period to get over and get my unlock code.

Nope it does not require in unlocked bootloader.

Sorry guys just now only I had chat with huawei india. And they said mm update will be available at the end of may 2016. Registration starts on end of march 2016

Which of all the zenfones is this update for? I checked mine a zenfone 2 4gb ram and 64gb American version and I don't have this update my kernel is upto 3.10.20 but urs is upto 3.10.49 please more info

I believe its for the Zenfone Laser.

Zenfone 2 Laser like it was in my signature - Asus Z00TD (WW_Z00T). MSM8916 with 3GB RAM.

It is ZenFone 2 Laser not ZenFone 2 (Intel Inside) and it was Android 5.0.2.

if you use the official zenfone 2 bootloader unlock tool by asus you no longer get OTA. I used the unofficial method and still get the OTA updates

Yeah, me too. But even if you use the official method, you just have to wait a day or two for the full firmware file. So I didn't get the "pays not to unlock" comment of the OP.

Nah I've had enough of Meizu's arseholery. Unless it can be fully unlocked and gets enough custom dev support I ain't falling for their crap again. My PRO 5 could be such an amazing phone in the custom scene but we're only just now getting TWRP and there is still a long way to go.
The PRO 5 will be my 1st and probably last Meizu phone.

I interested in it because I'm tryed to find any way to change ID of device to global, but SP Flash Tool don't allow to flashing without .auth file.

Sorry but is useless, if you brick an Meizu device only customer service can reflash it and repair it.

Yes, everything is fine here
But i updated it manually.

Updated via OTA few weeks ago, so far no problem.... Urr... I do experience a few time phone restart by itself, but then I suspected that I might had accidentally pressed the power button while the phone was in my pocket.....

in firmware finder also there is only chinese rom links (cn)

There´s not really an international form of the Honor 8 Lite, as outside of China, Huawei is selling the Huawei P8 Lite 2017-version, which uses the exact same hardware as the Honor 8 Lite.
I heard the Honor 8 Lite is only being offered in Russia and Finland? However, using one of those ROMs should also work. I also need an international ROM, as I even with rooting can´t get Google on my Chinese device.
By the way there is a Russian ROM for Honor 8 Lite online on another website, has anyone tried that?
