thank you very much for sharing this latest development progress, I have installed the latest release so far so good only problem I encounter is that when pressing shut down button the system stop to react but no problem when choosing reboot. Other than that I am more than happy to have Lineage system on redmi note2. Will find a way to report my feedback on github. Thank you bro

there is a group in telegram named "Redmi Note 2 ( + Off-Topic)" it has the review. you can search for it.
Thank you for this ROM!!! I used to use "Best SOT by far ! - Updated & Revised [MIUI 9.5 Stable/MIUI 9.3 Beta]" as many others, but it is full of bloatware (APUS...) and lagging over time.
Version 22-06-2018 has some bugs, but now the best ROM for Redmi Note 2. How can I support you, @Dinolek?
Found bugs:
1) Reproductor rattles sometimes. For example when you decline phone call, it rattles 2-3 seconds after the call is declined.
I just can say thanks dinolek, good luck.

-Network speed on statusbar,
-Auto Brightnes in quick bar/side of brightness slider.
-Show memory free/used in recent,
-Move hold back button to kill current app from developer options to setting-button,
-add setting to turn off navigation button and use navigation bar.

Same here. Phone stays cool while downloading all my apps. Very smooth. However the uMind doesn't work for me. Nice job with this ROM.

Does this have OMS support or even CMTE support? Also does it support f2fs? And lastly is forced encryption enabled on boot?

Launcher is lacking a few options we come to expect such as grid size alterations and folderisation.
I love the system animations. Something different from the norm. Look really nice set to 1.5x too.
Security settings crash on clicking. Thankfully unknown sources is defaulted to yes, otherwise I wouldn't be restoring any apps from TB!

I just flash it i love the launcher but i have found some bug i'il list them here
1. front camera and switching camera mod dosent work
2.alert slider dosent work
3.U mind seems to do nothing appart from disabeling power button
4.Compass dosent work
5.idk if its a bug or not but we cant connect to the filter shop
6.when going in the security tab it crash
7. the worst one the phone reboot if there is a headset plugged in and wont boot if we dont remove.
and its all that i have found for now sorry for potatoes english

It was an initial build as i mentioned so Few bugs were expected :silly:

Hi Guys,
Below is the installation and Optimizations steps for helping you to test. Thanks
1. Download the files as required.
2. Flash file rom "lineage-16.0-20180901-UNOFFICIAL-.zip"
3. At Recovery click Install Image and then select "boot_nx9_1.6_stable.img" file.
4. Flash HotFix V1.0
5. Once you done all flashing steps then do not reboot device immediately and delete Bluetooth and Bluetooth Midi Services folders thru TWRP file manager to avoid continually receiving Bluetooth error.
a- Mount System (If Required)
b- Press File Manager and locate System->App and Delete "Bluetooth and Bluetooth Midi Services folders
6. Reboot wait for the device to boot into the home screen.
7. If you want root Flash Super SU
8. If you want Google Apps then Flash "gapps-arm64-9.0-micro.zip". (After installing GApps ROM is going HOT and buggy performance, Will try with other GApps for testing and share results soon if seen some improvements)
9- Reboot Complete. Install the Titanium Backup application for "Bluetooth" and uninstall "if you did not delete thru recovery"
Suggestion and steps for improving current procedure will be welcomed to help each others. Thanks & Good Luck Guys

Mi max 3 miui 10 port android pie based only for mido
This is not my build. I took it from Telegram. Backup your internal memory first and use treble enabled recovery.
Note: Password For Zip File : 1008611 (if this port file ask for password at the time of extracting then use if not asking then not use.
Flashing instruction:
1-Extract it to recovery (twrp) folder
2- then going to recovery
3-wipe dalvik &cache , system , data,vendor and cache
4-And then go to restore option and restore miui 10 Mi max 3 pie port.
Note: Install google services via attached file.
Instructions took from "Mido oreo & pie based miui 10" telegram group.
Note: Not need extra file like vendor , boot already included in pie mi max 3 port
How to get the Google contact sync work on miui 10 mi max 3 port
1) Grant all the permissions to Google play services and Google contact sync
2) Download Google contacts app from play store and open and start sync
3) Go to miui dialer settings and select configure contact lists
4) Select Google
Bugs list in mi max 3 pie port for mido:
1- hotspot not working
2- torch not working but flashing light on camera working fine
3- Button backlit not working
But is not a big bugs for initial build it will be fix.

I don't know. I'm going to hospital so I couldn't flash it. It's closed beta China. Probably doesn't have all languages. You should try.

If you want to login your account you should flash mi globe or epic rom lile stock rom and turn on find device feature.
Rom is not multilanguage. Boot time is fast.
You can flash Franco kernel or other kernels top of it. I tried it worked.

Should I Wipe Delvik,System,Cache,Vendor except Internal Storage, or, Should i Use Just use Swipe to Factory Reset from the TWRP Recovery ?

Simple guide for new comers to RR
Guide :
(As frequently we can seen users are confused which twrp to use)
1) Flash TWRP 3.2.3 (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397888315)
2) In recovery, Format data - yes (It will format data in ext4)
3) Reboot again to recovery and convert data to f2fs. (Yes, magisk is working without any problem)
4) Wipe system, dalvik, cache, data, internal.
5) Flash RR and Gapps (open-gapps nano is recommended)
6) Reboot (While rebooting the phone will get encrypted on its own)
7) Reboot again to recovery and flash magisk (optional)
Those with the fastboot problemcan try this:
1. Flash Rom
2. Flash Gapps
3. Flash Magisk Root (MOST IMPORTANT)
4. Power on the phone.
Note :
* For FP gestures to work, Enable its option, which is moved to resurrection tools - Buttons - additional buttons - fingerprint gesture. ( no need to flash zip ) for RR.

Flashed the ROM a while back
Here are the first impressions:
It's smooth . Boot time is quick
What works :
WiFi, Bluetooth,NFC,cast,smart pixels,fast charging
The sound output from the speaker is fine
One thing I noticed is when you check changelog in settings nothing appears .
This isn't a major issue.
Lock screen media art is missing . It doesn't work even if it's enabled .
Gcam is working fine . I don't know about the video recording bug because I flashed the pie video fix in recovery .
Need to test the battery life but it looks promising

Media art is showing on lockscreen.

Is there disable fullscreen keyboard option in RR settings?
I have found this weird bug
Battery percentage isn't changing
I charged till 70%
And it's been on the same percentage for about 1/2 hr and I was using the phone all the time .
When I click on battery usage it shows not available .
I tried using apps like accubattery to determine drop on percentage but even that was not able to determine

You are using the one provided on rr website right! Because no such issue on the build i gave link for.
Both are same official build on rr website and googledrive rom
Can u test cast screen ??

f2fs works good
all test done
F2FS ok
CAST (wfd) ok
VILTE ok
VoLTE ok
custom kernel (kcal and the other stuff) ok
No BUGS at alll
it is the only complete rom in p2 development section
nice info, the build shared here says RR-P-v7.0.0-20190226 and the one at RR official website says RR-P-v7.0.0-20190227-kuntao.
just wondering if any difference like old and new.
what custom kernel is recommended because i use kcal all the time to tweak the display color to my taste.
