Core Prime rebooting and won't format - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Questions & Answers

Hello! I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime G360F that won't format. It also keeps rebooting a minute after it boots into Android. WiFi and USB Tethering wouldn't work. It won't get flashed on Odin either.
In recovery, when I try to format it, it just says:
Formatting /data
E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/userdata
Formatting /cache
E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/cache
Data wipe complete.
...and when I click "reboot system now", the text in the background changes from "No command." to "Error!".
Do you think this phone can still be revived in some sort of way? I'm not sure if the eMMC is completely dead yet as it still boots to the recovery, Download Mode, and the Android OS. Hope somebody can help!
EDIT: I'm also able to use it if I put it to Ultra Battery Saver Mode.

What did you mean by it won't be flashed on Odin?

It won't get flashed as in, it won't accept any firmware made for the device. It just keeps failing at the NON-HLOS.bin part (or APNHLOS)...

Stuck in Boot Loop. Lost Odin. rfs format failed...

I have a GT-S5360 which is stuck in a boot loop.
I've tried wiping the cache and a factory reset: makes no difference.
I tried rooting it with the update from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2085390
It appears to do what it should: says "Install complete", but still gives the same problem.
When I go to reboot, it says:
E:failed to mount /data (invalid argument)
E: copy_log_files_to_data
:: cannot mount /data Rebooting

Then I tried downloading something to it with Odin, which looked like it did what it should, but the phone is still stuck in a boot loop and now I cannot get to enter Odin mode.
Finally, I did a search of this site and found an appropriate looking thread which took me to here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/x8...ockworkmod.zip
Which comes back as "Installation aborted".
If I try to wipe data after running the update, it comes back with:
Formatting /data...
E:format_volume: rfs format failed on /dev/stl11
Formatting /cache...
E:format_volume: rfs format failed on /dev/stl10
Data wipe complete

I'm guessing there is something not working with that update: can anyone suggest a better one to try?
Or some way to get back into Odin?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Grouper stuck in a bootloop

Hey,
After a restart (from my running rom, which I dont remember what it was) my tablet got stuck with the message:
Supported API: 3
E: unknown fs_type "f2fs" for /cache
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_locale
Periodically flashing a green droid for half a second, with the message "No Command".
I can't get into recovery or fastboot, Power + Volume down changes nothing and running "adb devices" or "fastboot devices" shows nothing. Is there anything I can do to recover it?
Thanks!
If you can get into recovery then it's possible to create cache again. Then it should stop complaining and boot
Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Your currently installed ROM does not support f2fs format for the /cache partition so yoi need to reformat /cache to ext4 or install a different ROM which supports f2fs
And how to do it if you can't flash the phone via twrp fastboot if nothing starts, I downloaded the cosmic os 8.0 firmware if I'm not mistaken, since I need to download the firmware and flash the teleon I need android 9 firmware

Unable to flash anything in Moto G5 Plus

I decided to install a custom ROM in my device and what I did was wiped all partitions except 'Micro SD Card' and 'USB OTG', after that I formated data and it wiped all files in my device. Then I tried to flash the custom ROM but I was unable to flash it and an error message pops up - "failed to mount '/cache' (no such device)." I again tried wiping the partitions and all the partitions gets wiped easily exept the cache partition and the same error message pops up. Also whenever I try to restart into recovery, everytime it shows a message "No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?"
So please help me out with this problem I can't flash anything at all

TWRP version? Have you tried to flash Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_12.16.2018.zip
to prevent the device from encrypting itself?

I'm using TWRP v3.2.3-1 and I've flashed that zip but still the cache partition doesn't gets mount.
anyone have idea, im also experiencing the same issue. I was trying to root, and it wasnt taking it on my Moto G5 Plus, so i wiped everything except the same stuff, and then after that, any time it tries to mount the cache it fails. It wont mount at all, refuses to check the box. This is my log when i try to wipe the cache only now.
Failed to mount '/cache' (No such device)

Failed to mount '/cache' (No such device)

MTP Enabled

E:Unable to wipe '/cache' -- unknown file system 'auto'

Nevermind, I got it solved,, must have been caught trying to get to the OS, and looping cause there was not OS, and messing things up. Had to make sure i was holding the buttons to go to boot loader every time, but got it working.

SM-930P after NAND wipe. Stock firmware will flash, stuck on recovery update loop...

Was trying to get this phone rooted and backdate the OS to 7.0 and wiped the NAND in hopes that it would clear the 8.0 ver 5 boot loader. Now what, is it completely soft bricked? I can load the firmware but it sticks in a boot loop on the recovery update!

Just Odin a newer firmware and your phone should be fixed
I tried that already and it's stuck in recovery loop...
More details may help...
The phone starts to boot into recovery, then says "installing sys update" then splashes...
"#fail to open recovery_cause(no such file or file or directory)#
#Reboot Recovery Cause is [UNKNOWN]#
No Support SINGLE-SKU
File-Based OTA
Supported API: 3
dm-verity verification failed...
E:failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)"
then it loops back into recovery.

Do you have the right firmware? What is your device...G 930p? The modded Odin? Also, maybe redownload the firmware file again.

Yes it's the right firmware, correct it's a SM-G930P. Didn't know the modded Odin made a difference, I've tried both versions of Odin...
When I flash the firmware now it fails during the "boot" part of the firmware upload.
Well, turns out it might have just been a garbage USB cable! Got the phone reflashed, but now there's a NEW PROBLEM! Phone boots now but I go through the WiFi and agreement boxes... But as soon as it does that and chews on the next "welcome! preparing your device for first time use... This may take 3-4 minutes" it then just reboots continuously back to that screen!
Tried two different firmware images and it does the same thing!
NM I got it figured out, used the WRONG home file! Derp!
