Hi,
I just gone through below website.
I found that that Multi SIM option
LTE Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA)
LTE Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS).
But what i see in mobile, i can have only 1 LTE and 2g connection at a time. Each time i am changing LTE to other sim, it takes a reboot.

When i have 2 sim in the phone only one work in 4g,3g ( sim with data mobile) second with voice work only in 2g mode. I try to change the slot and nothing. When i have only 1 sim all is ok, but is normal ? Only sim with data mobile active work in 4g,3g and second sim only in 2g mode ?
yes all dual sim phones work that way 1 slot for 4g-3g-gsm and the other only gsm but at least u can select from menu wich sim for 4g
I'm thinking of getting this phone because of the dedicated SD card slot (most dual SIMs share the second SIM which is no good to me). (I currently have the Sony Z5 E6833 which I hate!) Anyway, I'm on Three UK. The problem with three is that they don't run GSM. What that means is that I need both SIMs to operate at 3G+ at the same time. Does anyone know if this phone does that? I ask because my Z5 puts the passive SIM into GSM mode which instantly disconnects it from the network (Three UK) making the dual SIM pointless. I won't be making that mistake again!
TIA
m
You can only select 1 sim card at a time to be in LTE/3G mode the other one will automatically go to 2G.
I tried it on Galaxy A5 2016 A510FD
anyone seeing this issue. both sims are att. calls/text set to sim 1 , data sim 2.
Also both sims are non volte.
Is one plus 5 dual sim dual active?

I have dual sim version of LG G6 and as I can see I don't have an option to switch other sim to 2g it shows 4G for 1st sim (which is OK) and 3G for second sim?
I am so confused between the different variants! Does anyone know if the XT1681 variant will:
Support Dual sim functionality in the US
Yes
Support 4G functionality in the US
Kind of.
There is no such thing as two slots will work with 4G/3G at the same time. Of course, if your sim slot 1 is set to 4G/3G, the other one will automatically be set to 2G. You can only use 1 sim for 4G/3G at a time. If you set your 2nd SIM to 4G/3G, the first slot will automatically be set to 2G. There is no 4G and 3G set on the phone at the same time either.
and if not, which variant should I get if I want to use it in the US on the AT&T network?
XT1687 also will work.
I'm considering the Huawei Mate SE too but I don't like the Huawei EMUI and concerned over the security warnings about the company.
I found some answers on Moto's user support board - https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Moto-G5-Moto-G5-Plus/Moto-G5-4g-3G-sim-dual-sim/m-p/3653535#M2568
