im in south florida.. only on edown here wuith the phone .. and i must say.. it has not heated up as of yet thought the weather has been rainy (could be why). compared to the axon 7 and s8.. the phone seems as though it never gets hot.. and just always cool.

No noticeable heating at all, whether charging or running intensive apps.
I played games for an hour last night, and it got a little warm, but barely noticeable. Overall it runs very cool.

Then why's mine always freaking hot??! I wanna cry...I miss my 1stgenG.
Eastern Europe, currently the phone is freaking hot even when turned off. I hear, in Portugal, Spain it is even worse.

This phone get's mildly hot when using it for gaming. Nothing too extreme though.

Im yet to feel any heat from it... even when multitasking on a call with navigation or while playing my (admittedly older) games
I've had mine heat up a couple times. You could feel it through the duel screen case but it wasn't too bad. 95% of the time it's cool.

The phone runs cool, even while on 5GNR. This is excluding games as I haven't tested any yet. Temp readings stay in the low 30s. Good sign.
