So I deleted the LG Music app using adb commands, I downloaded the LG ROM apps (including LG Music) but I cannot install the app, keeps saying not installed after I try install it from file manager, unknown sources is selected??? so I'm perplexed, is there any way to install the LG Music app without resetting the whole device? is it an option to download the music app through LG smartworld?

Hi there, Although I've been looking for days, I didn't come accross with a solution so heres my speech.
I have a rooted lg g2 d800 (att model) running Stock kitkat 4.4.2 (sw version d80020y).
Unfortunately, this device did't come with an stock voice recorder, and because of some problems sending whatsapp audios through the whatsapp mic icon, troubles already commented here in the forum somewhere else, I wanted to install the lg voicerecorder posted HERE, but unluckily I couldn't get the app to work, fm radio also didn't.
(Already knew d800 fm receiver is disabled, i needed trying this sort of apps though.)
I did set permissions on ES File explorer, and mounted system as r/w but after rebooting they just dont show up in the apps menu.
(also tried with ES FileExp. cupcake 1.5, "System apps Installer" from playstore but still no solution).
I tried installing a bunch of playstore apps, as system apps with ESFileExplorer and, surprisingly, they did get installed correctly. ( I mean after rebooting "they were there to use" in launcher menu).
I don't know whether it matters or not but i have latest busybox, superSU and i rooted the device with stumproot.
Anyone with a possible solution???
Hello. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo with CM12.1 ROM installed on it. I never had any problems with it, but yesterday, I found out that I can't install any app from Play Store or APK file. I tried to go back to Stock ROM and it worked on it, so I went back and installed CM12.1 again. I installed essential apps, enabled root access and used it for a while without any problems, and I couldn't install apps again after some time! It's driving me crazy!
Play Store shows error -501, installing through an APK file shows an "App was not installed" error and ADB shows the INSTALL_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR. Also, every app in Application Manager is 0 bytes now. Please, help me!
I tried to wipe cache and dalvik-cache, reinstall Gapps. Also, when I enter the Memory option in the settings, it's calculating forever.
EDIT - OK guys, I'm so stupid. I accidently disabled some system services by using Servicely. It's now working
Hi,
I recently rooted my Note 5, and was trying to update the following stock apps: Phone, Messages, Contacts. First, I uninstalled them all using SD Maid Pro, then downloaded the latest version of the apps (for Android 7 and +) from apkmirror. However, except for Phone, I encountered the conflicting package error. Furthermore, even after I rebooted (and tried replacing it from data/app to system/priv-app), Phone app could not be found. Currently, I have neither of the apps and cannot use my phone to call or send an SMS.
I have no intention to flash a stock ROM and lose everything I've built and set up so far.
Any help that regards to installing the latest version of the aforementioned apps is appreciated,
Thank you.
EDIT: Manually installed the apps by creating a folder with the same name as the .apk file in system/priv-app and giving the right permissions to the file (rw-r--r--) for each of the apps.
Hi guys,
I have a stock LG g6 with android 8.0
In the last few days I noticed that I cannot play anymore voice messages on whatsapp. At first i tried to reinstall whatsapp but it didnt work. I also tried to play manually the files from a file manager but android is not recognizing these files, although if i install an audio player for OPUS i can play the files just fine.
I don't remember if i have changed some permissions or i uninstalled some critical app.
I would like to avoid formatting the phone, do you have any idea?
Thank you
Hi!
I have a iiyama te6503mis-b1ag and was playing around with it. It has android so you can install apps, but you either have to download an apk from the browser and install it from the finder or install it from a USB stick using the finder.
I tried using Aptoide but when I try to install an APK it says "unknown apps can't be installed by this user" although both the system and the app itself have permission to install unknown apps. It has this issue too for installing APKs from within other apps. I can just install APKs from within the build in finder.
I also tried installing both play services and play store, but when I open the play store it immediately crashes.
Does anyone know how I can get either Aptoide or the play store working?

No that doesn't work. As I said: both the system and the app itself have permission to install unknown apps.

Download kingo root https://root-apk.kingoapp.com/kingoroot-download.htm
install it, open it connect wired/wireless mouse, press get root, wait for it to get root, if it is stuck at 90%, press back and an error will appear, ignore it, close the app, delete kingo root from settings app section. turn off and turn on again, then you will have root, then try to install any app form aptoide, it will say root is detected, would you like to use root to install apps? click yes and wait for the app be installed.
I had the same problem, i bought an iiyama 55" touchscreen with iiware 9.0
The solution is very simple and works:
- Activate developer mode in the settings (tap on build number several times)
- Enable USB debugging
- Download and unpack adb platform-tools
- Move desired .apks to platform-tools folder
- Connect to adb via WiFi or LAN connection
Example: adb connect 192.168.1.1
Install the app using the following command:
adb install kodi.apk
