All this roms are basically the same under the hood if you want a fast rom rom try aicp or lineage they're the best roms by far
Yeah I tried aicp, lineage, crdroid, pixel experience
Aicp fast stable good battery life also it's the best for gaming
Lineage os is pretty snappy but limited customizations
Crdroid i experience lag when doing simple stuff like browsing Amazon also had some weird bugs
Pixel experience pretty solid but no updates

Yes
But its not consistent like other Roms, too many versions made by different people. It does not work on the X722. If you have a X722 you should be extremely careful about what you flash.
I would like to see DotOS 2.3 (android P look) from our devs.

Since the I9505 of my girlfriend is getting slower and the space in it less and less I thought about flashing a custom ROM so it would be fast again.
Could you guys recommend a ROM that has just the basic goodies, is rock solid and not for the user that flashes it's ROM every week?
I tried the customized version of CM13 but ran into a lot of problems with the SD card and contacts that were not syncing.
Thanks in advance!

I'm on a 9515. Two roms which are stable ad fast as hell for 9505 are:
- Resurrection Remix ( based on cyanogenmod )
- Dirty Unicorns ( based on aosp )
I prefer the second, more fast, but the first i told you is fast too with more possibility to customize.

Thanks for your suggestions. I am on DU on my Nexus 5 and I think it has way too much possibilities to customize, at least for my gf. I installed The Android Open Source Project MOB30M for now and hope that she will like it. If not, I will give Resurrection Remix a shot.

Seriously dude, if someone had the time, interest and skill it would have been done already. Be happy for the custom ROMs that are currently available and equally thankful for those who unselfishly share their time and talents with the community.

thanks but I have already tried that, it works but for charging only, there is no option to set it as notification led.
By the way, would you suggest lineage or resurrection remix for stability in everyday use, lagfree and memory management for multitasking? or are they similar from this point of view?

Lineage or AOKP are nice
Are some developers interested in compiling AOSP for harpia?(without custom features, apps or addons, just Vanilla Android) There are many custom ROM's, but nobody is interested in compiling a basic ROM like that...

I mean Nougat.
So far there is only one AOSP ROM (still with UI customizations) for harpia, and it is based on Android 7.1.1 (an old rev, apparently abandoned)
The problem is, I do not understand how they develop such complex ROMs, with many customizations, addons, etc.
But no one is encouraged to compile a ROM so basic, it should be for those who seek the simplest possible experience and without unwanted addons, which most can not be removed (see Lineage, AEX, RR, etc.)
Not everyone is looking for the ROM with more options, some are looking for the opposite. So the person chooses that part of the ROM to modify and all happy (and this happens in almost all devices and developments)

Hey everybody. Like the title says, I'm wondering, what is the most stable non-OOS ROM? I'm currently on Liquid, and have been having some serious gps issues in the middle of multiple trips. So I'm looking to switch it up.
I know that XXX is typically the go to OOS ROM, but I really like the feel of pure stock Android.
For me, the aosip rom is the most stable non stock rom, very smooth and battery life is perfect, give it a try

Tresskmod and LiquidRemix are pretty smooth and very good on battery.I advise you to try both of them and find which one you would prefer. Also the telegram community and the dev of Liquid Remix are very good and will definitely help you if any issues arise for you.

Depends on what you like. AOSP? Samsung ROMs? If you want smooth and fast, i think some AOSP. For AOSP i would recommend you Lineage or Resurrection Remix:good:
