hello to all people. i am wondering is Nokia 6 dead? I mean we did not get proper boot loader unlock. no specific development. is this phone useless? even xiaomi A1 has way more development than this phone. so should we give up on this? is this phone useless piece of garbage?

i think you did not get the point. just having root with extremely confusing guideline is not what i meant. please check xiaomi A1 forum. look how much development this phone have. it released later than nokia 6. look how much modification possible for Xiami A1. BTW i am comparing with this phone because, they are priced very similarly.

Apparently it *is* a u8800, which means that ATT did something sneaky that is keeping the custom ROMs from loading.
BTW: Hello! First post in this section. Anyone know somewhere to get a new backlight? Found a good deal on an Impulse on ebay, and it needs a backlight. Should make a fun project phone.
You may be right. As much as I like the phone... I'm going to move on to another one. Probably the Atrix 4g. Something with more dev support. I don't see AT&T spending resources to upgrade us to gingerbread. I think the easier and more fun path is to just concede, sell and buy another.

Not 100% sure on this but I think you might have gotten a internal phone. Maybe a demo they used before it was released.
If that phone really is internally a droid maxx. Compare your phone to pictures on the web, it even look different.

If there is any ROM developer free plz port some good ROM for redmi 3s/prime also. The ROM development of redmi 3s device is very slow. Its kernel source has been released but still there is not any stable rom is available.

Hey guys, these sorts of threads won't lead to any substantial progress. Devs are limited to the devices that they have, one cannot just choose to develop for a device at will, without a device. I am closing this thread as it is pointless. It's never too late to start learning, how about giving it a shot yourselves? :fingers-crossed:

Recenlty Windows 10 was ran on the Mi4 by the developers .So,I request them to run it on the Redmi2 also because I think that the Redmi2 has specifications that are enough to run Windows10.To all the Redmi2 users that want a Windows 10 ROM for their Redmi2 please support my thread to seek the attenetion of the developers.

so i've read about google lightweight version of android under name " Android go " that is going to start with the release of android O
so i was thinking that this would be great for our device cause as far i know that this release is specially made for low end devices
and since our grand is kind of old specs device i think that android go would perform so well on our device
