Eonon GA7166 Upgrade assistance needed - Android Head-Units

Hi all,
I’m looking to upgrade only the board of my HU with Octacore/4GO RAM/32Go ROM minimum specs. Since I have acquired this unit I always felt it was too sluggish and need a little boost. Can anyone point me to where I can find a board that would match my system. My specifications are noted below:
Processor type: Quadcore-R16
Android version: 6.0.1
MCU version: 5.3.19-108-10-943101-170329
System version: V7.3.1_20170408.112704_KBT2
DVD version: 2.13.15-1200xh-150417

Unbranded Android 4.1 Head Unit - 2012 Hyundai Sonata GPS/DVD - Upgrade?

Hello,
I've been looking through to see if its possible to upgrade my Android Head Unit from 4.1.1 to Android 4.4.4. Is this possible?
CPU: Cortex-A9 Dual Core
RAM: DDR3 1GB
Android Version: 4.1.1
MCU Version: 4.2.15-1-10-2101
System Version: 2.7.9
DVD Version: 2.13.11-hd860mc
If you could assist at all I'd appreciate it. Thank you!
Hey guys,
Thanks to this forum I was able to upgrade to version 2.9.5. My unit is an AN21-U.
I used the redmod files referenced in other posts (which is already rooted and runs very nice).
I then had to adjust the MCU. I selected a Volkswagen 4.3.13 Model which fixed my radio/bluetooth issues.
Thanks

Have you been able to successfully root this device yet? I've just installed the same one and investigating this issue. I'll try to collaborate my findings.
I've reached out to the seller on AliExpress and the AllwinnerTech.com for some information about this topic and haven't received anything yet.

Lsailt/Carllt AllWinner T3 P3 unit - Any chances to upgrade android to version 7

Hi,
I have a Lsailt (Chinese/AliExpress) unit in my car and was wondering if anyone had tried to upgrade similar model from Android 6.x to 7.x or higher?
Unfortunately it looks like they keep their MCU/System versions pretty closed off, and I asked the Seller for upgrade and they said there is not one, but reading on forums here there are many Upgrades for Android 7 (and possibly higher?) for the Allwinner T3 P3 based units..
Chipset: AllWinner T3 P3 Quad Core - 2GB Memory - 800x480 output to LCD via LVDS cable.
Android Version: 6.0.1-1044(20180601)
Kernel Version: Linux 3.10.65 - Fri Jun 1 20:54:41 CST 2018
MCU version: Dec 10 2019, 16:54:19. (they dont display the full Allwinner type MCU version on about screens, not sure how else to find this info)
App version: 2018/07/05 17:44 (again dont display version numbers just dates)
Hardware ID: LXCN1700
Lsailt Model Number: LLT-LC-VER7.4.3T
According to their build.prop it shows a T3_P3 MMB29M AllWinner based build, thats about all the info I get from it.
Attached photo of the device (not my photo but it is the same unit).
They have a newer model of this for my car (LLT-FT-VER7.1.6) which comes with Android 7.1.x 2GB or 3GB models... the newer models have a Allwinner T7 CPU 6-core, so theyve bumped up the hardware a tiny bit for the new model to run android 7.

Help needed with Allwinner T3-P3 head unit running Android 6.01

Hello All
I have pretty much read all the threads on this forum relating to the Allwinner T3-P3 based Chinese headunits but have not been able to find an answer to the following questions for my unit:
1. It is possible to upgrade to a newer version of Android?
2. Is it neccessary to update the MCU to do this?
Any help would be really appreciated as the original Android 6 that is currently installed is buggy and pretty old....
My unit is a Seicane S089993 (which I realise doesn't mean much) with the follwing information taken from the 'About Tablet' page:
Processor:
QuadCore-T3
Android version:
6.0.1
MCU version:
T5.3.19-23-13-E43101-170705
System version:
V8.2.3_20171013.103153_PH3
Thanks in advance!
