will this logic Board work? - LG V20 Questions & Answers

Hi, i have a LG H910 version but the logic board dies. I got a firend who sell me a working H918 board but i don't know if it will work. i need to know if it will work before i but it please

Yes absolutely. I have the Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile variants. My Verizon variant got hard bricked and my TMobile variant had terrible screen rentension so I swapped my H918 Mobo with the Verizon Mobo and it works perfectly. U don't even have to swap the cameras, just leave entirely everything and only swap the mobos. I used to have a h910 too with a bad camera so I swapped the cam from the h918 to the h910.

Question regarding G2 and Bad Esn sprint one.

After reading stuff i figured that all G2's are world phones.
Im From india and my question is that if i get a G2 of ebay sprint one with a bad ESN, since it cant be activated on sprint again which is a given.
Now my question is can buy the phone and use it with a regular GSM sim card from india ?
If yes what would i need to do to use the phone if it has a Bad ESN.
Any kind of answer would be helpful thanks a ton
Help
I don't think a Sprint G2 would work in India, sorry. Sprint is a US carrier and uses CDMA instead of GSM. However, the international D802 model should work fine. The ESN is attached to the phone and not the carrier anyway, so no matter what carrier your on it won't activate.
The Sprint G2 is not factory unlocked for international GSM usage. It is an international capable device though (GSM 850/900/1800/1900). If the seller is not specifically stating that the phone has been unlocked for international use then it will not work in India. Only Sprint can unlock the phone and if your not the owner of the phone with an active line with Sprint they wont unlock it for you plain and simple. I would recommend to save your self a big hassle and buy the international G2 D802.

No problem, I forgot to mention that the Verizon G2 is factory unlocked for GSM service. You could buy a BAD ESN Verizon G2 and put in your India GSM sim card and it would work with no unlocking necessary. I'm not sure what band you need for LTE, but HSPA+ should work.

LG G2 Variants

Does all phone cases for D802 (International) work with F320 or other G2 variants? How about the verizon variant? It is shaped differently and the back buttons and camera looks different. Does the case still fit for it?
Theres actually a korean version of G2 that looks like the verizon variant. What model is it?
Thanks so much

G2 motherboard

hello
I have a few LG G2 D802 in the family and I'm curious if a D802 motherboard would fit in another G2, as Sprint, Verizon or any other D80x.
I think it would fit D80x but unsure about the others.
Seen a few different ones and I'm considering to buy and use a working motherboard...

Maybe could fit in other G2's but the Verizon version (VS980) is quite different starting the back buttons. Maybe other components could be different as well. Sometimes, the US hardware version of any smartphone are different from global versions except of course the iPhone.
for me D802 motherboatd working fine for D801 phone

Best model of LG V20

Hi
Recently my LG 20 VS995 was die and now is not detect it as it did before ... in mode QDL9008, well .. this equipment was a refurbish equipment and I want think was a defecting phone and well the question for now is
Which is the best model variant of LG V20 ? ... VS995, H990,LS996,US996,H910, etc ?
...I am considering the possibility of acquiring a new equipment after having had a phone like this
Thanks
for me it was a toss up between the H918 and the US996 ... because I had a VS995 but on TMobile service it was horrible.. and it looks like the US996 has almost all of the bands.. but I went with the H918 because I knew it would have Wifi Calling baked in plus ALL of the bands for T-Mobile Service..

new motherboard, which one?

I have a V20 h990N that is not working well with 3G. I bought it as faulty, and after an endless number of experiments I now realise that I will have to buy another mobo if I want it to work well. I have exp. with a V20 H990DS, which works well, so it would be tempting to buy one of those boards. Can anyone by exp tell me if I might run into problems with other hw doing so, eg. camera etc.
I can also buy a H990N, to be more safe with matching other hw. Are there any of you living in Europe that can tell me if that works well with the frequencies? It should do so, according to the specs (same as H990DS)
Finally, the F800 is tempting, since that definitely will be updated to android 9. Any Europeans who have tried that - will it work with the frequencies?
What would you do?
It doesn't matter which one you buy as long as it's not ARB_1, I think any one of the single sim versions except the Sprint version. Because you can flash any KDZ between those versions. That would be VS995, H910 and possibly others. For best bloatware free and best network support flash the US996 usa firmware.
