if i hit the menue button i do have an option to go into network settings and i have put all of the settings that rogers has given me (there are alot of empty spaces though) and still no effect. Please someone help i dont wanna be stuck with a phone i cant even use. Thanks in adv
Well since you unlocked it you are not finding a set network therefore you're stuck.. you're most likely going to need to root your phone and install a rom that allows bypass of google sign in so you can get your vpn set up correctly first.

Press the menu button after powering on the phone. In network setting, you need to add the APN settings for your network, in your case its Rogers. So yeah, get the correct Rogers APN settings and you are ready to go.
However since Rogers requires you to buy a data day pass if you don't have a data plan, the above procedure might not work. Try it first though.
The safest bet is to buy a data day pass (only $2.99 for 20MB) on your other current rogers phone, and then transfer the SIM card to your myTouch. Don't worry about those blanks in APN settings, just fill up the required field.
Hope it helps.
EDIT:
Finally found a method which solved the FRP. There sure are a lot of originator's and posts/videos about the FRP topic. It's a good learning process... in the process
So I've been working to bypass the FRP on an S& Edge. The AT&T S7 Edge I won via a police auction arrived yesterday. For those folks who would like to purchase items in the same auction location can go to p r o p e r t y r o o m dot com, and register there. This phone was locked, and advertised as so on the website. Other than that it is in very good shape. It is now my fully legal property, so please, let's not get into posts stating it is not, or other 'moral'/intellectual conundrums.
So I bought this phone to have some fun and go about solving the FRP process. When I checked into the fastboot menu, I see that I have the following info:
MMB29M.G935AUCS4APK1
Samsung hero2qlteuc/hero2qlteatt
6.0.1/
I have been 'practicing' methods to bypass the FRP, and initially spent all last night into this morning looking for methods to get to the Google.com, via Youtube/XDA methods to do so. None worked, as I suspect that the security on this phone has been updated, so using the phone dial-er nope, messenger, tapping and selecting text for a search function - no search function is enabled on this phone - nope, voice activation via the tutorials nope, wired headphones nope. And a number of other methods, as well.
In the beginning I used RealTerm. Near as I can understand right now, the RealTerm method is primarily to get the phone dial-er up and then get into Google to go searching/downloading files. I don't understand that process, where you enter a few adt codes to change anything in the phone to disable the "your request has been denied for security reasons". If I am wrong I hope someone will let me know.
This morning I tried another set of Bluetooth headphones, Bose 35's, and once connected up, messed about with the buttons on the headset. After pressing some button combinations, here and there, google voice was activated and brought up the Google search box. No other previous methods accomplished that for me. After that I can search the internet, and that is about all. No access to Chrome as those sites, or proxies receive "your request has been denied for security reasons".
So I can get into the Google search prompt easily enough, and surf about the internet, where before no chance. Google continues to advise that "your request has been denied for security reasons", but I am a step closer... and still so far away.
I have a client who's wife died recently. As with any situation where the spouse dies at home, the police did a full investigation and went through all the computers and phones and the like and returned them to him. He desperately wants to get to the data on the phones, but cannot, as he does not know the PIN code to either. He has tried birthdays for the kids and every other things he can think of. He now only has 9 attempts left to get the PIN right, and fears the data will be lost if he gets it wrong. Is there any way to get to the data on these phones? Obviously we don't want to factory reset and risk losing everything. Any suggestions/ideas for help?
Only 2 ways. One is to use Samsung find my Mobile and the other is to use Google find my Device. Of course you might need to know the email and password. There's no way to bypass the PIN on Android 9 or 10 from the phone itself.

So, she never registered the phone with Samsung, so the Samsung Find My Mobile isnt an option.
However, I have logged into the email and used the Google Find My Device. It lists the phone, the service is active, but the Gooogle FMP service says it cannot locate thee phone. Phone is powered on, SIM is inserted, and the service is active, as I can call and text the phone with no issues
If 'smart lock' was enabled, you could go to her favorite places (possibly their home) and the device would automatically unlock itself. The last option is to go to a Samsung service center with all documentation.
Hey Everyone,
I have been bashing my head against a wall trying to get this phone unlocked, a friend has passed away and no one knows his PSW. The phone houses information that will help the family.
What I have been able to get access to over the course of time i have spent with all devices.
Emails, laptops, Samsung account.
He was good with securing his passwords but I was able to get through with some persistence.
The phone is linked to his Samsung account and when i go onto: https://findmymobile.samsung.com/
i see it however when i try to see any options I get the following:
"Your service provider doesn't support the Find My Mobile service on your phone.
If you've lost a device, you can find it with SmartThings Find in the SmartThings app.
SmartThings Find is only supported on devices with Android O or higher."
smart things gives me absolutely nothing. I tried to bypass the service provider by spoofing the wifi from his home and got him connected but that has given me no further progress.
I also checked if he had developer options on so i could ADB into the phone but again no luck with that. I am down to "3 attempts left" with no option to reset password.
Any help would be super appreciated.
Also have an iPad that i cant figure out the password to but I am guessing that thing is done, and the data cannot be removed from it.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

one of the forum members was able to attempt to assist but we did not get far I have not seen a message like this in the samsung account ever and yet it always pops up . we reflashed the phone to a ATT variant and attempted to see if it can be found on that network and we got the same results.
I feel like I am between a rock and a hard place I would love to help the family but I know within 3 attempts the phone will be wiped.
If anyone has any other ideas I am all ears.
bump plz help
Data recovery specialist. They're out there.
Didn't they backup the data?
Hello, my daughter has forgotten the screen unlock code on her Huawei P Smart. I want to bypass the screen lock without losing data because the cell phone contains all my daughter's school documents and pictures for her project work. Tried a lot with dr.fone software and others but need a solution so I can unlock the screen and keep data without USB debugging because it can't be activated. Would be very grateful if someone has an idea Thanks

Hi, Did you ever get the phone unlocked and the data recovered? I have a similar problem with my daughters Y7P and I can't seem to find a solution that keeps the data and openes the phone.
