Dude, you need a Factory Binary Rom. Just search on youtube and try.
I tried all combination firmware but none of it work.
Flash android 7 official firmware according to your region. Not the oreo

Hi ! Do you a have a efs.img backup ? Or any kind of IMEI/EFS/RADIO backup ?
I had the same problem I flashed the stock ROM and somehow I lost my IMEI info, I tried everything and I was even thinking about buying a z3x box but then I decided to do a very risky move , I completely deleted all the EFS related files/info and reflashed again but now I was not able to boot because I always sent me to recovery mode saying that :
"E:Failed To Mount /EFS (invalid argument )"
Then all I did was installing TWRP and rooted my SM-G935F and then I placed my efs.img backup on my internal SD CARD and went on recovery launched the terminal and wrote this :
dd if=/sdcard/efs.img of=/dev/block/platform/155a0000.ufs/by-name/EFS
Then I wrote reboot and it finally my phone was booting and I recovered my IMEI and was able to use my phone normally.
This only works if you have a backup of your EFS, and even if you do is risky , but I did it because I lost all hope and was accepting the fact that my phone would just become a useless wifi only device .

Hello guys
my problem started when I tried to upgrade from 4.4.2 (KitKat) to 5.0.1 (lollipop), I tried first to upgrade using Kies but I just didn't work it recognized my phone and downloaded the firmware but couldn't install, so I went to the other option "odin" I flashed the firmware for my region for my phone yet when it turned on I had a very week signal.
when I tried going back to kitkat I had no service at all and lost my IMEI and baseband, then I tried different regions of lollipop and kitkat, but still nothing, and I thought I lost my IMEI and that I need to write it manually using this box (I don't remember its name) until yesterday when I flashed a Turkish kitkat which restored my IMEI and baseband but still no service, then I backed up my efs folder and went on trying every modem in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025
I tried everyone of them some gave me "no service" others "emergency calls only" and a third group didn't even recognize the sim card however all of them changed my IMEI to either NULL or the fake IMEI.
now I tried to restore my esf folder but it didn't work, so I thought to re-flash the Turkish firmware (which retrieved my IMEI and serial) but also didn't work and now I still have a fake IMEI which is weird because it worked before.
I tried every method every solution and nothing worked
I even contacted Samsung who told me that it cannot be fixed in Europe cause it is an international model and has to be fixed from where it was bought (Jordan)
and now um feeling really hopeless
please help

Hello guy, I really need some help on this S7 edge. So I had it for a couple of weeks now trying to fix it. Firstly it was fine Locked on Vodafone, I tried unlocking it on Z3x box and it did unlock but imei was gone with no efs file backup. So I searched up my problem of No imei and I found out that if i flash a ''factory binary'' it will be good. I followed the guide and flashed it, the imei appeared but there was a drk problem. with the guide there was an efs attached, I flashed the efs as well and the modem crashed. it says modem ram dump. and i managed to fix the drk and installed a rom and network is coming on and off. Please help fix the modem. I've tried a lot of flashes and roms nothing works.
Samsung S7 EDGE SM-G935F

I am trying to update the firmware for my sim card because on later versions of lineage os it says sim card not found. I was told that builds from July and on would require this update. I'd like to make some sort of back up of my current firmware in case something goes wrong especially because I actually have a SM-900W8 converted to a SM-9005 with twrp. If anyone has any suggestions they would be very appreciated.
Sim Card has no firmware .
Or do you mean the Modem or EFS/ IMEI folder ??
Full backup via TWRP of phones firmware is the norm .
Awesome thanks
I bought a refurbished Galaxy S7 edge G935FD and it had Android marshmallow installed in it.
So the first thing I did was flashed a nougat official firmware and factory reset.
Everything went okay but since then I can't make calls or anything.
It just says,"Not registered on network".
I have read something about Patching with Z3x box and everything but they are not very clear.
So I need help with my newly bought phone.
What should I do?
Thanks.
see if you have IMEI
you sure that you've flashed the right ROM?

Yes My IMEI and SN is completely okay as I backed up my EFS and already tried restoring it.
are you sure the phone is from legal source? maybe your operator blocked your IMEI?
flash marshmallow from sammobile and see what happens

IMEI, Network Signal and Baseband is misssing
Hi
I am ready to donate if any expert can help me to restore IMEI.
I am using SM-N9500 samsung note 8 model - hongkong version, i frequently change the roms.. when last time i tried to install a custom rom i lost IMEI. i am getting error like IMEI-unknown, baseband- unknown, no network and sim cards not working..
i tried installing stock rom, custom roms, it was installing successfully but only baseband, signal and IMEI are not working. i didnt even back up my EFS folder. So, kindly help me to get back my IMEI.
I have installed stock rom, still no IMEI. now i rooted my mobile and taken EFS backup. is it enough? if yes, pls suggest me the next steps. I also tried installing combination firmware, though is not working, installation was successful and also i am able to see the factory binary logo, after which it will switch off automatically and boot loops. everytime it will open factory binary and immediately it will switch off automatically..
