MMS issues on T-Mobile - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

For the past week or two, I've been unable to send MMS pictures. I am on T-Mobile and use Wi-Fi calling. Problem happens both with Textra (tried every MMS mode) and stock Messages.
Interestingly, if I turn on airplane mode and then turn wifi back on manually, MMS works. So maybe some sort of T-Mobile or mobile data conflict? I have Smart Switch off and also turned off the debugging tool option to keep mobile data on while on wifi.
I've tried manually adding a new APN, pulling and re-inserting my SIM, restoring APN to default... Anyone have any other ideas?

FWIW, I think I solved the issue. After trying every solution I could find, I got the feeling that maybe there was a developer option that was toggled that was causing this (I've certainly played with them in the past). So, I just turned all of the developer options off, and suddenly the issue is gone. I turned them back on (which apparently resets them all) and toggled the ones that are necessary - OEM bootloader unlocking, advanced reboot, USB debugging, etc. - and everything still seems good. Hope this helps others with the same issue.

[Q] DDTM setting won't stick. Calls not coming through while streaming

Here's my issue. Calls won't come through when an app on my phone is using the 3g data connection. I've figured out its the DDTM setting under "Call Settings" in the settings menu. When its turned on, the calls get sent to voice mail. The problem is that each time I uncheck the box, it gets turned back on by any app that uses data. There's not a problem when I'm connected to wifi or when I'm on 4g. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?
I'm using the stock EHO6 Gingerbread leak, rooted with the EH06 AIO Mod installed.
Update:
The problem seems to have fixed itself with a reboot. Not sure what was going on, but the ddtm setting is now working properly.

Strange WIFI issue

I am experiencing a puzzling issue with WiFi on my Galaxy S on stock JW7: after going abroad and connecting to lots of free networks I found I went back home, and my home network will not even display on the available networks. It will only appear for a moment just when I enable WiFi connections on my phone, then it will disappear.
I already tried deleting all the free networks I added, rebooting, and even trying to force a connection in the few seconds that the network is displayed. I even tried removing and re-adding it manually, but the problem persists.
Has anyone got any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks!
Try to upgrade phone firmware.

MMS not working on Wifi

For some reason I can't send or receive MMS when connected to wifi, only when connected on 3g/HSPA. Checked my APN settings and everything is fine on that part. Anyone know why this might be?
Currently using stock ROM and Matr1x kernel 2.0 .
Do you have an app that turns off the phone radio? I think maybe Juice Defender did that. I went through this a bit yesterday with at&t, called them and had them reregister my sim on the network, reset my apn to default (wap.cingular) and everything worked fine.
Then, I changed back to the pta APN and had to set the MMS port to 8080 to receive MMS, it works fine now phone to phone but an email test sending a pic to my phone took like 5 hours to get it (<10digitnumber>@mms.att.net) although today it was instant.
Just to clarify also, being on wifi shouldnt halt calls/sms/mms from coming in on the normal phone radio, the system I'm guessing uses wifi for data but even tho in phone status it says disconnected, it will reconnect temporarily to get/send those. So you technically dont send/recieve the items over wifi =).
Had the same problem with T-Mobile MMS. It turned out to be the AdBlock Plus app. We are an all Nexus family. All unrooted and using the stock messaging app. Hopefully, they have a fix for this! AdBlock kills WiFi performance too.

Wifi Not Working Correctly?

I tried searching and I have not found a solution yet. I'm running SHOstock-I with ktoonz kernel on android 4.4.2.
For some reason, my Wifi randomly disconnects from any currently connected wifi network. The first thing I try to do is to connect back to the wifi network (any available network), but it simply tries and says "Connection Failed". Next, I try to disable the wifi connectivity alltogether, but after I tap the toggle button it becomes "greyed-out" and I can't toggle it.. it just hangs. If I go back a step and then select wifi again, then I can try to disable it but the same thing just happens again.
If I reboot, then wifi works again.
Oddly enough, if I enable/disable teathering, then wifi starts to work again.
It seems I can't run Wifi for more than an hour without this issue happening. It seems to have just started doing this out of the blue. I suspect a full wipe would solve the issue but I'd rather not do that unless I have to. It usually takes me a while to get things back to normal after a wipe.
Any ideas?
Some solved the problem by unInstalling the Smart Wifi utility (for ATT and maybe other carriers too).

Thanks, but I don't have that app installed. I am positive this is not a router issue as well.
Everytime I wipe cache/delvik then the issue doesn't occur for a few days, which I think is odd. I also tried different kernels and the problem persisted.
Does anyone know if it's possible to confirm if this is a hardware issue? I doubt it...

It is a good idea to turn off any 'connection optimizer' or 'wifi optimizer' application or setting, in short anything that decides what connection is selected based on available connections should be turned off. The most probable reason for the problem is badly programmed software.

Serious WiFI Issues

Hoping someone can help me
My S7 Edge WiFI connection is playing up. My phone is fine on data network but only when connected on WiFi (Have tried other networks too) it has some serious problems like,
- Whatsapp notifications not received unless I switch to data connection or open the app
- Trouble loading internet applications, they just hang randomly but if I switch to data then they load
I first noticed this when I switched over to SuperManROM, however I have since reflashed the previous ROM I was using and still have the same issues. I've tried custom kernels and stock kernels and no difference.
Is it simply a faulty WiFI chip in the S7 Edge or coudl it be something software related? An important point to mention is that for the SuperManROM I had to update the bootloader and Modem, but I did downgrade them again to see if there was any change
Please help
Having the same issues. Tried multiple Wifi networks, same issue. Shows I'm connected to it, but no throughput. Tested the same networks on my laptop with no issues.
I'm using SuperSU.
This happens to me too, but only when I enable power saving mode, could that be your issue?

Well I thought it fixed it, but it doesn't look like it did. Rebooting the phone to see if that helps
Update: even after a reboot no luck.
On cell data no issues. As soon as I connect to Wifi, I lose it.
Update 2: Had a system update available. Tried to install it, and after the phone rebooted it told me the update failed, but the Wifi works okay for the moment. Honestly no clue.
You guys got any VPN profiles installed or anything?
