Hi guys,
So need someones help as ive tried searching everywhere and can not find a stock android rom for the yoga book.
Ive tried the YB1 X90L but the installation fail's
Its my sons Yoga book and he updated the system via settings. Update looked as though it went through ok but then while optimising apps it just kept on restarting and starting again. Like it was in a loop, I decided to hard reset the unit which was successful but now on start up its asking for the last person who signed into Google. Yep my son cant remember the log in
The unit has never been unlocked or messed with, I have a slight idea of what im doing but any help would be much appreciated

I had the same problem, and I went to the link, and it worked like a charm, even getting the keyboard working again

I have been running my a7 with dexter's mod 1.4 for about 1 1/2 weeks...everything has gone well. This afternoon I turned on the device and it failed to complete boot. The word Android would come up and then nothing. I tried to reboot, reset, but device would do neither...nor would it turn off completely. I kept trying to take it into recovery mode and then after several tries was able to wipe, do update again, and get everything back as before. What would cause this and should I look for this to happen again? deepmagic
My a7 was running well for about a week since it quit...but today when I booted up device, it failed to recognize sd card...same card used for updating to mod 1.4...same card I've been using to listen to my music, etc...but now won't recognize...I've tried two different micro sdhc cards..formatted, reformatted, but device continues to display mount sd card...all else works fine! Does anyone have any new ideas? I can't even reinstall mod since a7 can't read my cards. Thanks for any input that would be helpful. I understand these issues are ongoing for many out there...what to do?

Mine has hung on a black screen on me. Seemed that it didn't fully come out of sleep mode.
I was able to recover by holding the power button for 15 seconds to hard power down. No data loss.

Exact same thing happened to me this morning. Tried to reset - not happening. Hard powered down. Don't have time to try anything else right now. I'm new to the forums and new to android. Wish me luck! I've been loving my A7, and much appreciation to Dexter and all the other knowledgeable hackers/modders/posters.
hey the same thing happened 2 me twice. Once the first day after i got it, since i had only had it for 1 day i wiped it reinstalled dexter's mod 1.41 and it worked. First app i installed was backup root. Now, a week later the exact same thing is happening. This time i dont want to wipe it because of all of the apps i have installed, games ive played etc. Any ideas? Could we just try reinstalling dexter's md without wiping? Or wiping reinstalling and recover from a backup?
Also have you installed busybox? I had just installed it both times before it failed to turn on. Maybe its just coincidence but you never know..

Thanks to anyone who can help! and also thanks Dexter for all your hard work as well as everyone else that has contributed to the elocity, im lovin it! (when it works )
success!!!!
I got it to work! I don't have a permanent fix but if it happens again just boot into recovery and reinstall the dexter's mod update 1.41 and it works again! No wiping required. This isn't a permanent fix but it will work until we find one

Hasn't happened to me (yet) but I didn't upgrade to the newest ROM. I'm still using 1.3and it has been very stable. Only issue I've had was when I tried to use Killswitch to go to sleep mode when the cover is shut (great idea) but it didn't work and froze all except the live wallpaper. Weird.
Good luck, guys.
in the event it does happen to you, you might want to check out my apx thread for reflashing the factory firmware if you can't get your tablet unstuck. theres alternatives if you don't want to get stuck again.
The method you outline seems so complex...way above my abilities, but makes me wish I had followed though on some early programming training opportunities. That was the road not travelled.
okantomi; while i wouldn't encourage others to follow thru with procedures they fear would cause more harm, i would mention that if you google up my nick you'll find i've been able to do much w/ android software and devices while not knowing anything about programming. if i can do it, anyone can. i just wanted some themes for my phone.
i'm just an android hobbyist by night (and when i get a chance during the day), and a computer tech by day. no programming expertise, but i can reasonably reverse engineer and port software and components using simple file managers like ztreewin(trialware).
don't be mistaken that the folks out there providing you solutions necessarily know anything about programming or software development. just how to chef up files at different levels. i understand this doesn't go for everybody.
Thanks for the encouragement. I'm impressed with what you've been able to do. It is also nice to read upbeat comments about the A7. There is something sort of special about a device that you really almost have to build yourself... putting so much into it... biting your fingernails to nubs with each ROM flashing. You don't get as attached to any device that is 100 percent complete right out of the box, though of course there would be a lot less aggravation.
Hi all XDA Community.
Some days ago, with the help of this forums, i reflashed a hw6945, who appeared to be almost death. It runs quite good (considering that a lot of phones have surpassed this one ), and i was trying yesterday some things i could try on this.
But, yesterday too, when i decided to undock it and start playing with the new things i've put in, the device hung up while navigating on google maps, using the Wifi connection. I just did a "soft-reset", just as normally does when the device hung up. That was the first droplet of the glass. =(
It gots into a "wifi-searching loop" that i was unable to sort of. I was keeping "soft-resetting" the little iPaq, until i got a corrupted Bootloader Graphical scene. I just left it out for that night, and came back on morning, so i can reflash it again.
But for my bad luck, i'vre tried to reflash it (with SableRUU). It seemed to work as normally, but at certain point of process, it just got stuck. I did a reset, and it started the hell's story. I tried to reflash again, only giving me a creepy error: "Client_Initialize fail: Error 601". It got really bricked. ;_;
So, i'm begging for your help. What should i do to recover my now bricked hw6945? I've read something about a SD Recover, but the files are not more available on network. May i try that? Or should i try another thing?
Thank you for the help :3
Can anyone tell me if the tablet's battery might be responsible for it restarting itself? For example I was using it with a custom rom, and until the moment everything was working normal, and suddenly it started to restart, just by opening an application it crashes and reboots, I already tried to install the stock rom and it got worse, I could not even leave the samsung logo. I was able to install TWRP, but every time I try to reinstall the stock rom before it even starts it hangs and restarts, it has reached a point that it hangs and shuts itself. (Backup from twrp).
My tablet is the model SM -T560, I was using LineageSo 14.1 from T561. If anyone knows anything I appreciate it. The reason for the doubt is because I already took another tablet to repair and according to the technician, that could be the reason, the system was crashing, but from what I researched it was a chronic defect so I did not perform the battery replacement. Now i don't have any money to bay a new battery, and the device became an expensive paperweight.
Help please.
Hello everyone, for those who are in a similar situation, in which the tablet can not open an application without it restarting, reinstalling the stock rom and it keeps crashing and restarting, tried everything via software and did nothing for nothing. The battery arrived today and I'm testing to see if the problem solved and so far everything seems okay, I hope I can help with something.

Uhm Yeah you can help with something, Sorry I wasn't a member when this was posted. Do you by any chance have the CM12.1 Custom ROM for the SM-T561? it's okay If you only have one for the SM-T560
MEGA HELP PLEASE!
Guys, the next thing happened with my cell phone. He had a headache from foot bugs. I decided to install the pixel experience, installed good but wanted to return pro 8.1
I did the downgrade procedure PIE> OREO worked out, but the IMEI was reset, so my despair started. I read somewhere that updating to the PIE via ota the imei came back, I updated, however, only if the wifi was connected. I went back to pixel to see if it worked for the same thing. I followed the tutorial about the imei of typing the code in the phone. But the code did not work and soon the program did not work. I decided to redo the process back to 8.1 so now whenever I try to boot the November Patch, it loads and restarts to its initial screen to put the language, it takes a few seconds and restarts again. I've been waking up since 22hrs yesterday and I spent the whole of the night awake so far and I do not know what else to do. I've never had as much of a problem as this cell phone, so I've almost played it out: /
I'm sorry for my bad english I'm Brazilian and I used google translate

i have attached a screen shot of what i se in the updated screen.
any help given would be appreciated.
many thanks.
Do a factory reset. Before that, backup all your data
hey there.
sorry to ask but iff i do this will it let me do the update as there is a lot on my phone to reinstall due to the fact that i kinda use it a lot for work.
i would hate to miss some things and not have the update work.
thanks for your reply.

I cannot guarantee that it will work but in theory it should. Your update is stuck because some crucial files are missing and downloaded file cannot be properly verified to start installation. Factory reset should repair that.
