Yes, I did it too
Ok, then you can try to check if movie had access to read notification.
You can find it in
option
App & notification
Special access
Access to notification
If this is already been done I have no other tips, sorry .
However I think that an hard reset should be done after update to Oreo, I didn't do that and now have some apps that's crushes every ounce in a while.
Cheers

I keep getting this annoying message from time to time on top of everything else.
Does anybody know what the hell it is?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) using stock v6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware
Barrier Independent Protocol, relative new high speed channel for moving data between a BIP server and a storage device (like the SD card in a phone).
That said I have no idea why you are getting the message or how to make it stop.
Sorry
Maybe a bug in these initial firmware version... hmmm... anybody else that can think about something else?
Open channel for BIP

It comes out now and then, but I noticed that it is always related to app bugs and if I write to the author it gets sorted.

Thank you alot , i recently changed my Sim card and that actually worked
how do i get the bip channel off my phone cause my phone wont work
After setting up a brand new J7 and moving my apps over using Smart Switch app I had the same problem. The problem was the Smart Switch app didn't properly transfer over a couple of the apps. The background processes made their way over to the new phone but the app icons did not appear anywhere. The fix I did was to uninstall those "ghost" apps and then reinstall them. That resolved the problem. There were other quirky problems with other installed programs - all resolved by running updates on all Apps as well - all caused apparently because of differences between my old apps OS and my new phone's OS and the inability of Smart Switch to deal with those differences.
Hello ...
I have the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) with Android 6.0.1 from Saturday (NOT rooted ... yet). After a lot of hours searching and setup I have this "problem":
When I press the PowerButton for 2-3 seconds to show the options: Reboot/ShutDown/SafeMode it sounds the Messages notification !! How can I disable this?
Thanks in advance.
I still cannot disable it (without reset the phone)
I wonder if this notification is by default ....???
Thanks

Dunno if you can remove it without root, but you can do it with root. You find system sounds at /system/media/audio/ui. There you should find the sound file regarding power menu, then delete it and reboot and that's it.
@zavag
I try to turn it on to reproduce your problem but In my case, I can not even find out how I can turn it on.
Can you tell me...
How you activated it?
On which build are you?
@Henkate
I think it would be rather embarrassing for Samsung if you can not even personalize a notification tone without major changes to the system.
By the way, even if I do not actually think of TouchWiz. For me it's just ugly and overbloat!
I really don't know how it activated. The phone is new and ... you know ... I was searching a lot of settings in order to setup as I like. I googled it ... I found some infos but it didn't work.
On the other hand I don't want to reset (and most I don't want to root it from now) because I spent a lot of hours to set it up.

Know what you mean! I think if there is really no other way you are at minimum able to backup your settings in almost any app.
Maybe you like to inform about adb based backup solutions like declared here:
https://www.droidwiki.de/wiki/Backup/Ohne_Root
I also found a tool called Ultimate Backup on XDA:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1844032
If you don't have access to a Linux or at least Windoof computer you can maybe search for how to use adb through androids buit in Linux command shell. Don't know if there is a workaround.
But in my opinion it is already poor from Samsung if one must operate such an effort in order to turn off a notification!

Thanks for the interest of my application. It's my first application I hope you like, right now I'm solving some bugs and giving them new features.
They also helped me translate it into the Russian language so I hope I can post new updates in the future. But unfortunately I only program and in my spare time. So late in getting new improved versions.
Greetings

First of all, thx for such an app and my congrats. Just would like to ask you if it is possible to edit the font size of text. This would be really nice. Do you have any date in mind for the next update?
Thank you again

Hey Lumatic,
I was wondering if you plan on making this app available on the IOS App Store? That would be incredible!!!!!
I was using Android Watch Assistant on my Lemfo Lemx and it was working great! However, the watch just got some sort of update and now it will not stay connected to my phone, a LG V40. It will constantly disconnect about every 5 seconds. It will stay connected if I open the app on my watch, and keep the screen on the watch from going blank. As soon as the screen turns off, or you start doing anything else on the watch, it disconnects from the phone. After it disconnects, the only way to get it to reconnect, is to re-open Watch Droid Assistant, and the process starts all over again. All power saving features on the watch are turned off. Right now I am using version 9.1. I have tried 4 other
I was able to resolve this. Lemfo added a task killer when they updated their firmware, and this was the cause of the disconnects.

Background cleaner
Hello I will try to explain how to disable this option since there are users of some smartwatch models that have had this problem.
You have to enter to:
Settings => More => Background cleaner => Off

Does anybody noticed some notifications issues? Like one couple of days ago my amazfit watch doesn't gets app notifications, and apps like voice notify or led notifications doesn't works properly, ( verry long delay ) I think that's some how related to deep sleep or that artificial intelligence.. because even hard reset doesn't fixes the problems ....

Thanks for the tip, but as soon as mate 10 pro will be in shop I will change it, so I don't really care
Anyway could you please test your phone to check if it's working for you ? Because I can't figure it out if it was after update or even before :/

Thats strange, because I believe it's related to battery saver, deep sleep or something, because I really see that battery lasts way longer than before. But I have disabled all possible savers, I even added apps to special access lists but even that doesn't helps. Notifications from Google app like weather and traffic schedules works, but gmail or other stuff doesn't... Gonna try hard reset once again, but other that that I have no idea what to do..
Unfortunately i tried many apps like "Voice notify" and even bought a huawei mate 10 pro. same problems, noone of apps works properly when screen is off/phone locked. Im verry sad about that.
You probably have it set to close out apps to help save on the battery. That could be the reason you are not getting certain notifications and whatnot. I had this on my Mate 9 and left it to get the phenomenal battery life, but I don't have a smart watch. There's a way to turn that off and I'd bet you'd be able to get back notifications and the watch working like normal.

Hello Guys,
For several days (after some Android Wear upgrade?) the notifications (SMS, Gmail) have quit to appear on my Huawei Watch 1. The only one left is an incoming call. Also, the function of automatic silencing of the phone while the Watch is connected does not work anymore. Reset of the Watch,as well as reinstalling of Android Wear changes nothing.
Anyone faced the same problem?

When the AW app on my phone updated to version 2.0.0.172043166 I lost notifications on my watch (Urbane 2 with AW version 2.5.0.172604017 on the watch). I downgraded my phone app to the previous version (2.0.0.169953239) and my notifications returned. I turned off the auto update for the phone's AW app in the play store until this is corrected.
Hi
How did you downgrade?

I turned off my watch, uninstalled AW on the phone, downloaded the previous AW version, installed it, then turned watch back on. I didn't have to reset the watch. Then I made sure AW on the phone had access/permissions to notifications in system settings on the phone and turned off auto update in the Play store until they fix it.
