Is there any way to keep apps from exiting from the notification shade? I have a galaxy gear s3 frontier and the samsung gear companion app keeps closing when I tap the trash icon when i pull down the notification shade. I remembered that there was a build number that keeps the samsung gear app from exiting when tapping the trash icon in the notification shade but when I updated a few months ago the samsung gear app keeps exiting when I tap the trash icon.

I got the Note 3 N9000Q version and I'm still trying to figure out a few things.
On my previous device (HTC EVO 3D), I downloaded an app called Smart Statusbar so I could swipe down to reveal the notification bar when in full screen mode and chat heads would appear with the notification bar.
Touchwiz has the swipe down to reveal notification bar by default which is nice but it doesn't reveal the chat heads with it. I tried Smart Statusbar app but that also doesn't help. I tried Swipe statusbar with it. This time chat heads does appear but it has a mind of its own, sometimes it appears sometimes it doesn't.
My question is what does this all mean. Is there a Samsung limitation that interferes with Chat heads?
What can I do to make it work?

I recently bought Oneplus3 for my girlfriend and noticed when she swipe notification this also mark as 'read' so red badge from icon disappears.
We've got both Nova Prime installed with 'Tesla'.
Any Idea why S7E is not doing this?
When I pull down to view the notifications thread and remove a notification by swiping right is there a way to make it stay gone without having to go to the actual app and view the notification? Unless I go to the app the same notification appears again.
Does it appear immediately or after some time?
Some apps do have a repeat notifications function.
OK - got the RETUS OTA for Oreo yesterday. In the notification bar is a little square with a zig zag line. Clicking on it, I get a dialog box that says XYZ and MNO apps are using battery.
How do I get rid of the notification? I have disabled the 2 apps notifications but nothing to be found about the Android system one.
Tap through the notification and just stop the process... it's annoying, and kind of funny... on my son's phone it keeps saying GSAM Battery Monitor is using battery all the time.

So I have been using nova prime for a long time and up until yesterday I noticed an issue where I have an option to hide notification panel. When it's hidden and I enable swipe gesture to access notification drop down as the panel moves up my widgets move up and the notification panel with the clock and WiFi and such is no longer hiding as it should until I hit recent apps then it shifts back to normal
This is pretty consistent and annoying has anyone else faced this issue where the Nova notification pull down moves your widgets and you hidden notification bar won't hide? If anyone has a solution please let me know. I hope I'm not the only one with this issue.
