I think it's better making any ROM with a different UI such as MIUI.

It will take long time, cant wait, the official p will come on October and it might appear on nokia 6 later January or February, who will wait for it.

The reason m porting the android p is, because of its stock android in nokia 6, porting other custom rom will require many other thing to be done like it will have many bugs, but stock android dont get bug as much the other rom will have...i hope you get my point
It would be great if someone make treble support for this phone. Also please develop lineage os for this phone. So that we can modify the device as much as possible.

Yeah you just need to install any nougat OTA zip manually through recovery menu...
It will give u error but dont worry, just reboot
After rebooting you will be on nougat recovery and nougat bootloader
Therefore you will be able to flash nougat firmware via OST LA 6.0.4
done, u will be on your nougat

Please try to make ROMs such as MIUI, Samsung's Experience ROM etc.,
but still no official BL unlock from HMD
Is there no possiblity to unlock the bootloader unofficially?

Respected Developers there is a phone known as motorolla G4 play which has the same chipset snapdragon 410 and they have ported and successfully booted android O.

Qualcomm 801 is pretty good. XIAOMI 4 is same with our device, Is possible.

A user said it did boot after he flashed his bootloader , can you do that and also send me the bootloader so we can host it for others...

You need 320h bootloader , I will ask the guy that tested how he made it work , it's in another thread where they look for a rom for j320H , maybe you can find it on xda

I managed to install the device's ROM with its own boot, but it's not nice at all, the device's own ROM is better than that, its Android is also the same as 5.1...

It's kinda old phone ..but i must say that the official rom can still be a last resource , de-bloated and some little modifications and niceness , be a great help as pocket pc radio portable tv navi and much more ..and it's official , i,m happy it's at least 5.11 so we can still use great apps in 2022 aurora store beside playstore and service will give user allot of freedom , and the services will make every app work ..it's better then nothing
