Hello all developers. Everyone knows Android file host has very slow download speed. I have request for all redmi 4a developers. Please upload your roms on Google Drive. I think it will be better than Android File Host. Why ? Very fast download speed and easy access (from GDrive app). Please consider that, because we can improve access to your roms. I have created a 1 Click Debian, LXDE, GP2X command. Only problem is uploading sucha big file. So before uploading if people here want that please tell. With it you have to do nothing. Straight everything running. You require that
Why so big? Just upload the files needed somewhere online and download them or better yet, keep them seperate, upload to sd card, and run it, and set it up that when its done installing, it removes those depencies. I say that though only if someone doesnt have much space on the vfat or fat32 partition of their card.

i dont care about the size. maybe repackage it as a ultra compressed rar and make a readme to unrar it ETC. just dont use rapid share srsly. but yes, i want this

Ok guys it will most probably a torrent file for p2p sharing as I don't think any site will accept a size so big. But if anybody knows some site or gives me acces to a webserver I will upload there and it will be a highly compressed rar. Will upload if have more than 20 votes for yes by tomorrow or more than 30 by 4 days

I heard bzip2 has great compressing qualities but i dont know how to createor extract it. So if anybody knows please tell the software for that. I have Ubuntu Running so if anythings related to Ubuntu then also tell.
What I would suggest is making a simple working one 1st. Let the user install what they want. Later upload a more complex image lets say.

im posting the ndrive app that was available in the stock indian rom...
Note: U need to have the 200 mb Ndrive folder on sd card that was available with the stock. it contains the india maps and ur license to the india map
those who dont have that folder(i.e license), i cant help u...
it seems that our imei is the license for the app, so go ahead and download it if ur having a licensed imei to use the ndrive app...

whoever backed up the stock sd files can use it........
just copy the ndrive folder from the backup to the sdcard and install this apk and u have working licensed ndrive

I'm on xda for a while now and noticed a lot of people having to upload their files to mediafire.com or other uploading sites, they work good but it's infested of advertising, so I figured I would share some love offering a hosting place for devs, I have a site called click-dev.com, which my goal is to bring the devs together in a small site.
If you are looking to host your files @ click-dev.com please send a PM, so I can setup a FTP account for you to upload large files.
But if you are uploading small files you can signup @ click-dev.com and head-up to the Downloads Section and upload your files...
When submitting the PM, include the following:
Folder name: ie: myROMfolderNAME
Owner username: YOURUSERNAME
What are you uploading: ROMs? Apks? Resources?

I recommend using FileZilla for the FTP account...
I have been noticing that many of the ROMs here have dead links due to the large size of the Galaxy S ROM. With this guide I am going to show you how to make a Web Seed using your Dropbox account.
As all of us should have a Dropbox account as we got 50GB free with are device, I am going to show you how to keep the link alive longer by setting up the Dropbox download link as a Webseed (this way Dropbox is only used to get the swam going or when there are not many seeds alive).
First thing to do is upload the ROM to your public folder on Dropbox. Once it is uploaded copy the public link.
Next go to burnbit.com and burn the file using your public Dropbox link.
Once the file is burned download the Torrent.
Now upload that torrent to torrenteditor.com
This will allow you to edit the torrent with details like your name etc. But the main thing we are looking at here is adding more trackers.
The Trackers you want to add are:

udp://tracker.istole.it:80
udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80
udp://tracker.ccc.de:80
Once the torrent has been edited download it.
Now all you need to do is find somewhere to host the torrent.

Hello people!
I just found my Flipout lying around. It was already rooted, tried messing with it, and flashed CM. Which may be stable, but as expected is a battery killer.
I didn't take a backup, so is there any way I can return to the stock rom? I know it's been over five years so I'm not expecting much, just out of curiosity, in case anyone has kept any backups or maintained links over the years
Edit: just in case anyone is interested, I followed this guide with the provided tool & rom and it worked, I'm back on stock

You got a copy of the firmware for flipout. Blur no longer works as Motorola no longer provides servers and it can not be bypassed. I have looked all over and even found a un-blurred firmware on baidu. It is corrupt. The link that you used is expired. Would it be possible to provide a copy.
