Hello all,
I have noticed that when my HD2 is streaming audio to my car stereo over A2DP, if more than one program produces audio, then I get this horrible crackling sound as long as both programs are playing audio. When one program streams audio, the quality is fine. This does not occur when connecting my stereo to the headphone jack on the phone. Also, when streaming over bluetooth, the HD2 does not mix multiple audio sources, but instead stops the existing one and plays the new one only, reverting back to the existing audio when the new one has finished playing. This does not happen when using the headphone jack.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix?

You are not alone
Hi to all,
My HD2 is having the same problem.
Whilst playing music in the car over a bluetooth Jabra 3010 everything is fine till the voice of the navi is coming up. Again, every audio source it self and alone sounds nice but when they play at the same time...
I thought that the HD2 should fade between the sources instead of mixing them.
I am wondering that no other is coming up with this problem. Is no other using the HD2 the same way?
Thanks
Gabriel
Hey p8 lite owners,
I have noticed that when playing audio/ music via Bluetooth to external speakers the sound output is extremely distorted & too "bassed". No issues with connection just bad sounding music.
Am rooted on marshmallow, unlocked bootloader. Anybody know how to fix the Bluetooth audio quality? Shame. This phone has a nice set of inbuilt speakers.
TIA
Issue seems to have resolved itself after a while.
What version of firmware are you running?
Hey everyone,
I recently opened a thread describing a problem between my S7 Edge and my Bluetooth audio car adapter.
I have this car adapter:
https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B00DU...oth+anycar&dpPl=1&dpID=51qDDyHDFQL&ref=plSrch
The problem:
When listening to music in my car via bluetooth the high tones start to crackle and distort even when I set the volume very low (car + phone)
The connection via AUX works fine though.
I already tried an iPhone, a Lumia and a One Plus One via bluetooth as well. Every phone sounds crystal clear except the S7 Edge.
It doesn't seem to be related to the output sound file, as the problem exists with mp3 files as well as when I'm listening to music on Spotify.
I'm considering switching my phone cause of this issue, so I'm willing to pay 50$ to someone who is able to fix my problem! (without rooting my phone)
I have an Exynos S7 running the latest DBT firmware and I'm not using any other bluetooth devices.

How the does bluetooth sound for you guys? Mine seems to be worse after the B29 update (not for certain that's when it degraded). I have a decent car stereo setup, but bluetooth distorts and crackles in the mids and highs. It's not unlistenable, but I thought my stereo was on the fritz until I used my 3.5mm input from the headphone jack, which sounds just fine. It can't be that the DAC is that much better, as my other phones sounds fine and this used to.
Do you have any thoughts or experience with something besides a small bluetooth speaker?
And I have tried playing with the Dolby settings. They make no difference with the distortion.
After some perfunctory tests I have noted that Bluetooth audio seems to introduce a significant amount of extra noise at high volumes. Aside from the additional background noise I have not noticed distortions with Bluetooth yet. I have only checked this on B29.

Just something to try...I have a BT device hooked to my AVR, and when I stream through that, if I have the volume on my phone up it sounds horrible. If I stream through it with the volume up just 1 click of the volume button, it sounds good. I increase volume at the AVR instead of the phone.
Through Bluetooth hands free working flawlessly to my.(A2017G version)
I'm having 2 LG 1100/2 Sony SBH 80 and 2 SBH 20.
Haven't try it with external speakers(since I don't own any kind) and on my car I'm using the handsfree and not connected to the car audio system.

I have a A2017G on B05 and a somewhat cheap aukey BT headset: it seems to sound fine for me, no crackling or hissing. Have you tried it on different devices to compare?
A2017U on B29, using Jaybirds Bluebuds X, the sound its great, no distortion or cracking.
I use the Bluetooth on my car stereo too and the sound is excellent. No dolby, but the equalizer works fine.
Did you verify that all your bluetooth devices supports aptx? if not then you will lose sound quality :S
idk, i dont like bluetooth audio streaming... even with aptx. Its not bad but if you want to steam flac music it will still limit the quality. Somehow if i stream the music via bluetooths aptx it sound flat not dynmic and
voluminous.
I haven't tried it with the volume just below full. I'll give it a shot in the morning on my commute.
Other devices (S5 and 6P) sound just fine when paired to my headed unit, so it's likely something with my Axon 7.

Quick test with the volume just under full seemed better. I'll know more after a drive tomorrow. Thanks everyone.

EQ on on your car stereo or phone? I don't know of an EQ on the phone (maybe I've overlooked something).

On the phone. I meant to say that it's not using the HiFi audio, but the Dolby eq it's fine on Bluetooth. Sorry for the confusion.
I think it sounds about 95% better just one click below full volume. I never would have thought that digital Bluetooth volume would have been the problem, having always set it to 100% with every other device. Thankfully, Tasker makes for a quick fix.
Thanks for the tips and feedback, everyone.
Last night I updated the tablet to EMUI 5.0 and after that the system did the update to 351. Bluetooth works fine as far connection goes but once you played any media stuff like music or youtube the audio sounds like an fm radio station from the early 90s. The audio has a very flat sound to like it you were streaming at a very low bitrate. Has anyone noticed this too after doing the update or could it just be a bad update. I'm hoping it's just that but wanted to confirm here with anyone running EMUI 5.0 how's their bluetooth audio. I used poweramp for MP3 but even poweramp can't improved the audio quality from bluetooth. The same bluetooth headphones sound way better on other devices it's just the tablet. Enabling SWS doesn't help if anything sounds worse.
