Other apps playing video?
If yes .. uninstall current YouTube and download other.
If No.. clean flash Rom

You dont need a custom rom to do that you will have Root and Xposed and watch my video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLQ10bJg2rc

Hey bro i did that and follow your instructions completely but it didnt work even if 5.1.1 5.1 5.0 and KK roms it did not work would you please healp in my issue i really want that module

If its not working than just uninstall updates on youtube and wait for the next module version to download in xposed, uninstall youtube updates and it should work

For now yes wait till the new update for the module comes than you can install the new youtube app
search for a youtube 10.21.x apk, install it and it should work; it's not a problem of the rom, but of the youtube version, because the module is not updated for the newest yt version yet

i don't know if it has been fixed, but it isn't stable yet, and it probably won't be either, unless huawei releases the sources for it's hardware.
if you want a stable os with everything working, use a rom based on stock. i think it is fixed in los 14.1, but not sure.
Ohh okej, but what happens if I go with lingerage over CyanogenMod, do I have to factiry reset?
Hi, have you found a solution? Same issue for me with Snapchat & Instagram or any other third party app for video recording. Taking photos as well as stock camera video is fine.
Hi, Right now I am using ViperOS Rom with Nougat 7.1.2. Well, I cant record anything with front camera, no matter which App use (Stock camera, MIUI camera Port for Nougat.. Others) just record a static frame (image, no move) with background audio. Its same and all custom rom with Nougat I've have used. LineageOS, ViperOS.. Etc.... Any Fix?

I Deleted the MIUI camera V5, flashed this and Work for one time, I closed de App, open again and got the same issue, Just record a static image with background audio... Look like a problem in Nougat Rom's.

Is there any 7.1. custom rom that support [email protected]?
I tried DotOS1.1 but 60fps doesn't work, i also installed 8.0 rom but that doesn't really count because its beta and unstable anyway.
So far there is no customrom with working Youtube [email protected]
This works only on stock EMUI So far.

I think he is talking about the camera not youtube...
You can see videos on [email protected] on mobile version or on any YouTube client
For a weird reason the problem only appears on the YouTube app
