Please help. I'm new to all this! First off I've installed Lineage via the link below

And then GApps.
However my Play Store will not open and keeps wanting me to close it down whilst it's attempting to open.
Can anyone help please?

On lineage people use Opengapps instead of Google Apps.
Read the whole 1 st post on the Rom you installed,before you do anything, read!

Hello, I'm in China, Beijing with my girlfriend and her mother bought her this lovely Samungs 4 chinaunicom phone. It doesn't come with any google services, and my girlfriend really wishes to use these google services. She wants to root it, but I don't know much about this topic. I was wondering if someone can write a detailed guide or point me in the right direction. I see so many guides for different androids. I was just hoping to know what to do for this model.

Sadly I can't read. My girlfriend is Chinese, but she isn't around for awhile. If you can help me I would gladly appreciate it. I'm going to take a look at the link above as well, maybe that will have answers for me

Hi,I have uploaded some files that wil be used to root the I9502 and flash the recovery.
First, put zip file UPADTE-SuperSU-V1.30.zip and the google apps in your sd card. Reboot your phone to the Download mode.
Extract the two zip files: i9502-csc-root.tar.zip and i9502-cwm-recovery.tar.zip
Then connect your S4 to pc,and open odin. You should choose CSC for i9502-csc-root.tar.md5 ,pda for i9502-cwm-recovery.tar.md5. Start to flash them.
After that,reboot your S4 to CWM. WIPE the data and cache before install UPADTE-SuperSU-V1.30.zip .
At last install your google apps. OK, that's all. Enjoy it.

Hi guys!
Long time lurker but first time poster, so please bear with me here.
I have the Samsung i9505, rooted with TWRP. I've recently updated to the SlimBean 4.3 Build 1 rom from the beta 5 version, and now the play store won't recognise my device, which is strange really. If i click on settings (on my computer) and go to device list, it sits there nice and fine, but when I try to install an app, my phone disappears from the list of devices.
I tried wiping the data from Google Services Framework and the Play Store, but the store just wouldn't load so i had to back up both apps to previous settings, and I'm back at square one. I am still able to download apps by accessing the play store from my phone, so i'm not too freaked out just yet. It's strange, i've been through several roms and rooted devices and this has never happened. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't think so, i've had a look at the thread but it doesn't seem like anyone has commented on having the same problem. Most report the play store flat out not working. Unfortunately I don't have enough posts so I cant post in the development thread!
Could it be an issue on the Google end of things, or settings?

I don't really feel Google would be the problem.Did u install it with wiping all data
Or did u do dirty flash?

i factory resetted before flashing the rom, and cleared cache and dalvic after as well. oh dear!
any other ideas?
hey guys thanks for trying to help, my phone has reappeared in the play store (without having me do anything) so perhaps it was an issue with google after all!

Hello, my problem is that when I installed cyanogenmod and gapps 10.1 gave me trouble, I thought this a warning that the process stopped gapps and this also happened with all that applications were google, I tried to get help but know about nadien this.

try to install manually the apk of googleplay than download your apps from the store
Hi everyone,
Seems Im having a lot of trouble when it comes to installing GApps.
Ive installed the latest build of OmniRom for my N7 2013 LTE, threw MultiRom. And that went well.
Now, when I try to install GApps, it fails every time. I've tried a few different versions of GApps, & none will install.
Help me please !!!

Gboard would have been nice in normal edition cus the default keyboard is always ugly but I can always download it from Google play store but thank you it works perfectly fine ?

So I used Lineage OS 17 (Android 10/Q) on my Galaxy S7, tried to use this Gapps but I got error saying that I am using from wrong Gapss, and my ROM is Android 6 not 10...
What the hell?

Try again with a different recovery.
Works great on op7pro.
Loving it.
Hope you may add Google recorder in the plus edition in the future updates.
