GT-N7102 Samsung Grand 2 stuck on Samsung logo

Hello friends, i was trying to root my friend's Samsung Grand 2 and i rooted successfully using https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ and it was successful (was done via odin). I booted to screen, then i booted to recovery and it was stock, i tried to flash custom recovery following this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-grand-2/general/guide-easily-root-galaxy-grand-2-sm-t2812807. I downloaded CWM-Test-4.4-ms013g.tar and flashed via odin, since then it is stuck at Samsung logo, i have tried to boot into custom recovery and wipe cache and davik to no avail. I have refalshed CF Root via odin and it has restored stock recovery but still stuck at Samsung logo. Kindly help, what can i do except restoring stock image to fix this?

What's ur grand 2 model no bcoz cwm revovery u flashed is for SM-G7102

Bro GT-N7102 is a Galaxy Note 2 model maybe you have installed a grand 2 package for your note 2

i have Grand 2 model SM-G7102. Now tell me where i went wrong and how to fix it please. Is there a locked bootloader that i need to unlock first?

update: I have downloaded stock rom G7102DDUBNK1_G7102ODDBNK1_INS and flashed it successfully , i have also rooted successfully using CF Root. Now someone please help me how to get custom recovery? Is it that stock rom will not boot if using custom recovery and it is only meant to flash custom rom?

if that happened you have to download stock firmware and open it using winrar then extract boot.img, find a tool to create boot.tar for odin I used this one tar-Tool_Odin3-v3.07_by_mkh.mourad and flash it.

i had wiped my system for flashing rom but wasn't able to flash it bcoz i was showing error no when i try to reboot it shows no os wht should i do now plz help i dont have a backup and my model no. is a800i

How to unbrick s3 neo ?!

Hi everyone, i was testing whether editing the build.prop file changes the settings displayed in about device. I edited the build.prop of my s3 changed the product name and model to s5 but unfortunately i did not make a backup of my current rom and now the screen shows s3 neo logo and then shuts down. I can still access the stock recovery but my question is should i find stock rom of s5 since build.prop is now s5 which bricked the phone or should i find stock rom for s3 ? please it's urgent any help would be appreciated!. and if anyone has the rom which i need to install please upload it somewhere

Either flash the rom/firmware or find & copy the S3 Neo BUILD.PROP (to root/system) with costume recovery & change permissions as according.
I don't know how you got to the idea to put S5 build.prop in the first place.

Download s3 neo's stock firmware and flash it using odin
or if u want to try any other custom roms u can flash a custom recovery via odin then go into recovery and flash the particular custom rom....

I want to download LineageOS on my Galaxy J7 Pro/ J7 2017. I can't find any custom recovery to download. I tried to download TWRP but I cant. Odin says passed but after booting my phone to recovery it's just the deafult samsung recovery.
My device model is sm-j730f / j7y17lte

So, I suppose I have done the home work. I came to know that it will be safer to install a custom recovery & make a full back up before proceeding for Roots & other things. I get the TWRP Official Device Tree for my device.
How I am supposed to make the Odin AP Flashable .tar file out of it ? What are my options & things to take care ?
