For some reason, I cannot put the zenpad 10 as a device in my profile. I don't see it in the list when I scroll through. I have tried a dozen times in different ways. Am I missing something or is it missing? Thanks in advance.
Maybe they haven't added it yet. The device is so rare and unpopular.

My wifi won't start. Whether it's through TouchFLO's comm manager or Window's own Wifi connection, it will give me the "Busy" rotary and then nothing happens.
I know exactly when the problem first appeared, though. I was using WMWifirouter (an ancient version, .8 or .9 something) while it was tethered to a Macbook for power (I think on ActiveSync, but I don't remember). From what I gather, that might not have been a good idea, or, rather, that theoretically should not have worked. But, it did. I disconnected the phone, and since then I've had the aforementioned wifi issue.
I've searched XDA and Google, and it seems the best answer I can find is to hard reset and see if it works. However, it seems that for a large majority of people who tried this method, the problem doesn't go away.
I'm hesitant to try a hard reset, as my HD's been working fine for the past 5 months and I've got a lot of time and work put into it, when it might not get me anywhere.
Hence, I'm asking if anyone's come across a solution to this problem that might work. I'm hoping it might be as easy as a registry tweak (I have seen some "solutions" that involve the registry, but they don't appear to apply in this case).
Since I'm in the US, and the HD is not officially provided by any carriers, I might have a lot of trouble getting any kind of warranty work done on it, and that also entails losing the phone for 2+ months, as best I can tell.
I might try flashing a newer HTC ROM, although I would be pretty mystified that my old ROM suddenly wasn't good enough. Maybe it's just that a new factory ROM would place the correct registry settings back in order?
Sorry for the long post, I'm just frustrated that I am unable to use wifi and that I'm starting to think the only solution will be to get a new phone or live without it.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
(I've looked at several threads on XDA already, none of them were at all resolved or even directly discussing the HD, so I think it's okay to post this thread.)
EDIT: I could tell I was going to get no response here, so I just went ahead and hard reset the device. That seems to have fixed it, for now. Wifi's working how it should. I'm adding this edit here for anyone else has this problem.
Just a bump, and also to add that when I run WMWifirouter with logging, it shows that it fails to Rebind the WLAN and also the CM-Set fails, if that is any clue.
Another detail, I notice that under Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Advanced, there is nothing under Status, MAC, IP...I'm guessing that will always be empty if it's not connected? If not, are there values I should fill in?
Hi. All noob here. I have recently bought the above smart watch. Which is great. But the os and design has a lot wrong with it. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could tweak it? Tried engineer mode and factory mode nothing in there to change look and feel. Or the fact it shows as two devices in the bluerooth list. Any help would be appreciated
To add. It will also only deliver sms notifications and not thing else. None of the notifier apps seem to connect. They all see it as two different devices but never connect to either thanks all and happy new year
i've read similar problems with other users who sought help from the meizu-flyme websites but they won't respond with anything better than a canny reply that they will be looking into it. it's been months since this problem popped up and its amazing that nobody finds anything that specifically addresses this particular product. someone suggested that it is the manufacturer that can provide a valid and lasting solution to this by providing the source code of the os. but even so, i am just a curious cat daring to get killed or be delivered by its boldness. i just can't believe that it is so difficult to gain access to my m2 note again even as it keeps me from doing so and still receive phone calls from it and let me listen to my music with it. No modifications were made to it except perhaps getting root access but I am not sure if debugging was activated before i was shut out from getting in due to this flyme lockscreen pattern that id completely forgotten! i did try the new security flaw that's just been discovered wherein you try to put in a very long string when making an emergency call with it. But when i get to the next step in using the camera, it just won't show the notification shade where i can proceed with what is expected to be done to crash or hang the unit! there is a factory mode that i can boot into but i find no suggestions on what i can do from there. in fact i can even upgrade it successfully (i can watch it go through the process) and it would later inform me that it was successfully done but still the pattern lock would still be there! before it locked me out i managed to link it to my wifi so it is actually online but i don't know how good that is if it could solve my problem at all.

On November 26, ASUS publish a downgrade cause a major update failure they sent with firmware 14.40.144.6 causing the failure of the GSM modem and stop recognizing the SIM. :good:
The downgraded solved that problem, but others started like:
- answering calls not possible from lock screen
- notifications not showing for all apps
- vibration very low
if you are having any of this problems :crying: :crying: , join and all together will make like the last time, ASUS to rebuild a correct stock rom. :highfive::highfive:

Asus makes awesome hardware but crappy software with none support indeed..

You can set the vibration intensity in settings (volume settings),
notification not showing might be caused by "Asus mobile manager" (there is an option to block notification and one that blocks some applications when you turn off the screen)
But for the first I don't know

The problem is that not appears neother the notification in the bar nor the bubble on the app...

Several times lately when I start the tablet there is no keyboard for password. I reboot, press everything I can think of. Not sure how but finally get it up and going. Then something pops up about system not starting or whatever. I click dismiss or something like that. Also something about selecting keyboard. I leave it on the gboard I think and continue. Should have written all that down.
This is scary! Is there something I can do to avoid that happening again? Seems to work okay this AM.
Better yet, since this almost never leaves home is there a way to not require a password when started?
I have the same model. Did you not get update to Nougat 7.0 and EMUI 5.0? I would see about updating to see if it solves your problem. Also you can disable pwd by going into Screen lock & passwords in the settings menu.
I have not updated either for 3 reasons
1. Till now things have worked fine and I LOVE the tablet.
2. My experience with updating other devices has not been good. Often things quit working right and problems start.
3. Wont updating eat a lot of the precious memory?
What is your take on that? Plus, if the old systems are causing the problem why did it wait over 2 years?
I have removed the password from other devices. I thought I had been through all the options in settings. Will look again later.
