Microphone crackling noise - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So i once dropped my phone in water (it was an accident of course) and since then i've been getting crackling noises on my microphone. I've bought and replaced the microphone board but still it persists, any idea of what else i can do ?

Noisy earpiece speaker

Since I have had my Touch HD (T8282), the earpiece speaker makes a "scratching" noise randomly during calls. If i press the speaker harder against my ear it can sometime fix the noise.
I dont get the noise from attached headphones or bluetooth headset during a call so its not the incoming signal.
Should i bother getting it warranty repaired? Is anyone else getting this?
you can try to put off the audiobooster.. dunno if that might help or not.
well i also have the same problem, and audio booster isn't the problem, because i used a lot of romz last months and the audio booster is on and off, but noise keeps coming...
the cracking noise, stops at a random time

Earpiece problem

I have a bit of curios problem with my TD2. During a phone call i get a sound distortion / vibration from the earpiece. It makes no difference if i change the volume level. Playing music or using the speaker phone does not cause the problem. So i'm not sure if it's a software or hardware problem? Has anyone else found this problem? or have any clues for me.
Thanks in advance
Smog
It isn't related to the "vibrate on connect" feature is it?
No i have that disabled. It sounds like when a music speaker has a damaged cone and vibrates / distorts or there is too much bass?
The distortion in my earpice goes away at 80% volume. Is very annoying. It distortes on bass (low frequency) very much on 100% volume. The D2 speaker is very crappy. I wonder if there is a solution to this (software bass reduction of the incoming calls).
I agree the earpiece is utterly crap, the distortion goes at 50% on my TD2! Have spent sometime looking if there is anysoftware solution but to no avail!! I'm debating weather to return it under waranty as a faulty phone and see where i get.
any solves on this issue?
Mine too have the same problem, but i was told by others owners that this situation is not normal.
They say it´s a faulty device.
Result!! My touch screen went faulty so had to send the phone back in for warranty repair. I mentioned that the ear piece may also be faulty and requested them to take a look. Phone returned with new screen, new housing & i must assume a new ear piece. All distortion has disappeared even at 100% volume!!!
Maybe it's not the thread to mention it in (apologies to all those with problems) but when it works properly the TD2 has the best sounding earpiece of any phone I've had, including two other HTC ones. It actually has bass!
The distortion described sounds like the moving part is partially rubbing against the fixed part. In a proper speaker this can be caused by dirt or dust trapped between magnet and coil, or distortion of the coil through overload or temperature changes. I would send the phone for service 'cos it sadly won't get better of its own accord.

My speaker is making crackling noises

My phone is just sitting here, and I started hearing this low crackling noise. Anyone else have this problem?
My external speaker busted out of no where after a week, sounded like a blown speaker rattling. Took mine to a sprint store and they replaced it with a new one.

[Q] No sound in earpiece, loudspeaker, headphones...

Hello, i got a Defy with this issue, i had no sound on the earpiece (i know about the infamous case of faulty earpieces) and no sound on the loudspeaker and neither using the headphones... it could be a software problem? Everything else is working fine, there's no water damage at first sight (i haven't opened the phone yet, to check the motherboard if rust is present)... physically its in excellent condition...
Someone had this problem before? What should I do before doing exhaustive flashing / changing parts? Thank you and sorry for my english.

[Question] How to clean speakers space?

Hey guys, Ive been experiencing some noises in the top speaker and I thought maybe its been teared, but then I heard those noises also when I was listening through earphone (assuming there is an earphone and a seperated speaker both on the top)
So i blew a little in its space and i can say the noises got much better but there is still some noise when the volume is high.
U guess its dirt issue, can anyone suggets a way to clean the speakers?
