Reset to factory stock XNPH38R

Hi All,
if you want an easy way to reset to stock, this is it. Works like a dream, for that squeeky clean, out of the packet install feeling.
This method uses a full 38R factory image from cyanogenmod.
I take no glory for this as our hero @MooDeeY has done the hard work.

"Step 1: Download full XNPH38R rom from here, with adb files & extract it.

Step 2: Make sure that your phone isn't connected to your PC via USB, because its some times prevent phone from entering fastboot mode correctly.
Step 3: Press VOL+ & Power Button. until you see Fastboot logo. it should be like this picture.

Note: Some times it ask to confirm if it's your first time to unlock it if you came from Color OS version.
you can use volume buttons to choose between menus and choose yes & Power button for confirm.
Step 4: Connect your phone to pc.
Step 5: In folder that you downloaded in first step you will find a file called Bootloader Unlock just press it & press any key on your keyboard to begin unlock your boot loader.
Step 6: Your phone will restart after unlock. Power it off again & Do Steps 2,3,4 again.
WHY I SHOULD USE THIS WAY !!
- if you have chinese version (Color OS) & want to make it 100% Original cyanogen.
- if you device is bricked or boot loop and can't make it work again.
- if you facing errors after OTA update.
- if your version is too old & want to install latest one without install any previous update.
- if you facing wi-fi issue or connection problem.
** this way install a complete rom from A-Z including stock recovery, modem, boot image, etc.....
Step 7: You will Notice that there is others two files in folder:
Install Rom 16GB = for 16gb phone.
Install Rom 64GB = for 64gb phone.
just open it, press any key, it will start installing new rom for you & lock your bootloader again.
Notice: When downloading using google chrome, maybe a warning message appears to you, this because folder contain .bat files. it's completely safe."
I have been running this since about 10:30 ths morning and it has been problem free. I also got the best antutu score I ever got for this rom on the oneplus with this method, so its cool in my book. I also noticed a big reduction in battery usage, but theres no stats behind this claim.
One last point, this does use the latest images. Its just that cyanogenmod have not updated their website yet.

Why lock the bootloader on the end?

Finally, there's some legit 38R factory images! Why do they still have 33R on https://cyngn.com/products/oneplusone? Thanks for the link! :laugh: :good:

Because it returns to stock. You can edit this out in the script if you want it left unlocked.

There's no need to relock the bootloader. In fact, in several cases locking the bootloader has resulted in not being able to unlock it again.

Verizon G2 Bricked! Demigod Crash Handler! No Nothing!

I was going back to stock using the KDZ method and USB cable came unplugged during the process. It gets the secure boot error and is stuck in the DemiGod Crash Handler. Computer only recognizes the COM and Modem. NO ADB, FASTBOOT, DOWNLOAD MODE, RECOVERY, SAFE MODE, NO NOTHING. Anyone have the same thing happen?

This exact thing happend to me yesturday ... Freaking DemiGod Crash Handler Error mesg on screen !! if u find the solution please do let me know as well

Plug into your computer via usb. Open device manager. If you see qhsusb_bulk then follow this guide to fix. Unfortunately I didn't get that therefore there is no fix...However I was very grateful because Verizon let me get an early upgrade. I now have a G3.

DemiGod cras handler: critical error
Good day, if flash bootloader changer on my lg g2 verizon on cloudy3.3...
this is what i got at the end of the day. Is their a way out please help me out. What do i need to do to make my phone come up again because it will not boot saying somthing like....

Well bro I was stuck with the same issue..
This happens to me when i flashed a wrong twrp recovery for lg g2 d801 and it was stuck in critical error i was also unable to access download mode ..
But my Good luck was that i recovered it by doing silly thing ?
So i do following things. But make sure u know the corrert version of your lg g2 to flash kdz file with lg flash tool and also must have lg drivers intalled.
Steps to perform.
1. While in critical error screen you have an option to press volume up button to boot into download mode( although it will not boot to download mode) but still press volume up button so your Pc can detect your phone.
2. Now flash a kdz file of your lg g2 with flash tool. ( you can google for it to download flash file for your lg g2 and how to flash it with lg flass tool.)
3. When you will try to flash it will fail..
4. Now power off your phone by pressing power button.
5. Now boot to download mode and flash the correct kdz with lg flash tool and u r good to go..
To acess download mode power off your phone immediately press volume up button and while keep pressing it and plug in usb cable and you will be in download mode

My LG G3 (D855 16go) is hard bricked.
I have the qualcomm 9008 Usb connection and I have flashed correctly, following the topic (http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359)
When I flash sbl1 at the end, I try to get in download mode .
I see the screen download mode during 2 sec, and then black screen and I get back the qualcomm 9008 USB connection.
I have tried many times to flash (V10 tot or V20), but I don't know what to do.
Could someone give me a solution, please?
PS: I have tried LGUP ,but I have model unkown and i cannot select
PS2:With flashtool, I put the port 41 and when I want to flash i got the Download FAIL!!, Model Information Check Fail (with PID:NULL,IMEI:NULL,Model(nothing),DLL : D855
PS3:with Flashtool 2014,I get stuck at 4%(Upgrading S/W)
I have spent some many hours reading topics in xda or googling but I am stuck. So please help if you have an idea

PS : Try with unplug and plug again USB cable.
PS3 : change DIAG with CS Emergency (do with your own risk) if you are give up.
PS2 : never tried.

I used to have a LG P970, and i unbricked it with LG flash tool. it also get stuck at 4%, as long as it keeps printing out log. after that, the phone is unbricked.
dunno it works with lg g3. hope this help.

I tried the PS3 (change with CS Emergency) and it is the same, stuck at 4% with the same screenshot than above.
When I try to power on , I have the DemiGod Crash Handler , and when I press bottom up to go to download mode, I have the message on my phone :'Volume up is pressed Jump to dload Mode' and in some cases I have a blue led or sometimes i got a green led.
When I press volume down, it reboots and i got the same...

Don't click the pop up , slid it to see what happened.

When i power on , I got the Demigod Crash Handler
I press up to go to Dload Mode.
Then, I launch FlashTool 2014, I select the kdz and everything and then, it goes to 4%
and without pressing, I have this screen poping :
and even if I touch nothing, it doesnt change anything (In my phone , I have the demigod on the screen)
For information, I got this USB connection

Other question:
When I reflash with boardiag , each time when i finish with sbl1, i poweroff /poweron (botom up pressed) and I cannot access download mode, it goes black and I have the qualcomm 9008 usb port.
Could someone helps me with that problem ?

I heard about flash using .tot method, but I can't find any .tot file for L Fino.
What should I do now?

I created the zip for myself, because my download mode didn't work.
After flashing, TWRP will crash.
Then you simply have to enter the download mode and flash a kdz.
BUT I'm not sure if this is going to work.

Sorry for long absence, I had no time.. But now I have it, so I want to repair this phone and...
now my Fino doesn't power on... I tried:
1) Power On normally using Power Button
2) Go to Download Mode
3) Remove battery and go to Download Mode
Nothing works..

Yes. Recovery doesn't work, I can't boot to recovery, I can't even boot to Android and the screen is all time black.

Did you try to boot in download mode and flash kdz ? It's the last step from the tutorial.

I own an LG D290n . I had to do a factory restore via buttons after a Google update bug. It was crashing some Google service and couldn't do anything to fix it. Strangely neither factory restore worked giving me the same exactly error. I finally downloaded the latest Rom I could find I think it was 4.4.2. I pushed it using official Lg Utility from fino page and worked like it should be just fine. After about 2 months the problems continued , the phone stucked at boot with the known pink message dbi error demigod crush etc unfortunately I didn't took a photo. After reading a lot found a guide for unbricking my phone. UNTIL THEN couldn't go into dl mode or anything except factory reset giving me the same error. After the guide using qfil the phone stayed black . Boarddiag passes ap but not emmc. The phone is stuck on 9008 or if I play a little in diagnostic 9006. I played with battery and cable only , the buttons don't work tried vol up . Any guy want my teamviewer to check? Thank you in advance

if boarddiag is not passing emmc test it means your emmc is faulty/dead, no fix for this that I know unless you replace eMMC.

Note :- here download means starting flashing in 10, 11 step
1)First download and install qcom driver and install in pc from here
2) download stock rom from here
size 1.10gb
3)extract the stock rom zip and find "Msm8x39DownloadTool.exe" something like this. in the extracted folder
4) then just left click in start logo u will see menu just open the device manager(not disk manager)
5) Now "power off" your phone connect it to pc through usb , after completly power offed just hold vol+ and vol- button at same time
6) press the both button until your device manager application in windows won't blink
7) now you will see a new "ports" menu is added in middled of list in deviece manager
8) Now just open that exe file in the stock rom folder i told in step 3
9) after opening the "Msm8x39DownloadTool.exe" find in the list if there is written "com" exept of device not connected
10) if you find com then just tick right "reset after download" box and press "start" button
11) after downloading your device will reboot automatically
12) if you device didnt reboot unplug it and press power button for 15-20 second now your phone will start

How to flash oppo a37fw with tools
First download Flash file and install oppo driver.
Extract flash file
open Flash file and open MSm tool on flash file
power of phone and Press vol up and down button and insert Usb cable
Then start and wait after flashing.

I tried almost all firmware (Msm8x39DownloadTool.exe) still doesn't boot, it still vibrates during boot but no display but pc/laptop detect oppo driver this sequence goes on loop cycle .. any advice what can I do to save this phone

I have a problem with oppo a37 given by a friend to me when I power on it only vibrate and has no display, and when it is plug on laptop/ pc it will be detected showing oppo setup driver but in a few seconds it will be disconnected/ and connected in a loop cycle .. I've already tried to flash and upload new firmware i got the same result... could you help what to do...
