I m searching fr a Kernal which Will be best for ethical Hacking Like NetHunter Tools... Currently I m in stock kernal which Doesn't support everything of NetHunter Tools & In Terminal I get verious types of error like when I tries to Install any Hacking tools & If i Tries to update The NetHunter Programme Then I gets lots of error
So, Can u guys suggest me a Best kernal For Mi A1 which will be best fr using NetHunter Hacking Tools...

Hello all..since you all may be knowing about the kernel source being out..i was just getting my hands on compiling the kernel and after getting so many errors warnings and modification i was able to build the zimage. ive used the stock boot.img from the rom and upacked it with modified it with new zimage.
I cant GUARANTEE whether its working or not.So i need Testers who can test..

ive used the msm8974_defconfig..i didnt find any other suitable file...now ill try the config.gz file from my device to check the defconfig..
burakgon, can you please post flash tools so that we can do test as well. As without proper flash tools, it's quite risky to test something like kernel.

I've found no use of all kernels which supports nethunter in our device. As everyone wants to try wifi hacking but that custom kernels are not providing external wifi adapter support. Tried so many roms and diffrent kernels. Tired now .

Use mannual mode instead of automatic scripts such as wifite. I easily capture handshake on 3s with beacon kernel and nethunter.

Wow you made me remembered that I created this stupid post :silly:
I realized that the driver is in the kernel source already.... how dumb am i back then :silly:. Also, during the lockdown I tried to create my own device tree and using kernel from https://github.com/Galaxy-MSM8916
I compile old version of BlissROM based on Android 6.0.1 . It did success although I have problem with camera, undetected SIM and no sound. There is problem with heat too as I remember, but it still smooth to use.
But now I go back to stock rom for a while. I hope I got time compiling rom for this devices soon..........

Ok so guys I'm suggesting the most stable, bugless and sensible ROM according to me after trying tons of roms throughout a year ......
Thanks to our devs who are still providing their best to keep our device updated .... But the ROM that i think is most stable in every aspect is viper os 5.2 oreo ...... Just flash the rom with combination of bfr kernel and see the results for yourself ..... I personally don't want to use an oreo rom in the time of pie but for some reason pie roms are still not that amazing as oreo ROMs used to be .... Plus the battery backup can never be matched to oreo in pie ROMs for our device don't know why ......
So guys if you want a rom that is fast ,fluid , stable, able to play any game effortlessly just give this combo a try .... You'll be amazed .... It gives 5hrs sot very easily even with kind of heavy usage .....

i do remember oreo did give us more juice compare to pie. But now z2 just my second handphone, with a new battery replacement, i can said that i am still satisfied with the SOT now .

Yes you can simply flash .... No worries... But I don't know about migrate apps but yes you can flash ROM normally

You can use migrate backup in any ROM of same version ( ex pie - pie) without any problem

Or Is There Any Additional Step To Follow? & Is Changing System Partition To EXT 4 Is Necessary? & Does It Will Format Internal Storage? Anything Like That? I think it will need factory2vendor partition.... Flash f2v , twrp 3.2.2 by kubersharma... Then you're good to go.... Nothing else needed i think
