Dear Friends,
Last two days ago, my huawei mate 8 was hang. This time my phone is [ NXT-L29C636B594, Android 7.0, EMUI 5.01 ].
I find some post to rollback and decide to go Android 6.0, EMUI 4.0, then update to Oreo, that is my plan. But I try to rollback with this build number [ NXT-C900B170].
I think its ok, but I try to fine update from System update menu, unfortunately that say no update.
So, I want to change back to [NXT-L29C636B594, Android 7.0, EMUI 5.01 ], anyone please help me.
Thanks.
Kelvin

Gents,
Before I have NXT-L29C185 B320 (mate 8) - EMUI 4.1, after I saw the new update Nougat 7.0.
I download the recent B520 EMUI 5.0, unlocked the bootloader & install the recovery and follow the instruction.
But now I am checking the software and found it's not same and what i got is NXT-L29 NRD90M test-keys with EMUI 5.0!
Please , advise me how i can get B520 & locked the bootloader or go back to the official stock firmware.
Thanks in advanced.

Hi,
this is my first post here, so please be gentle
Recently I bought a Huawei Nova and gave my Honor 7 to my wife, as I got to know, that Nova runs on Android 7 atm. However, I can't update my device to the android 7. The firmware I have now is CAN- L01C150B102. When I try updating my phone, the update goes to 5% and then crashes with a note "unable to update device, for more informations go to ... (insert huawei website url)". Does anyone know what seems to be the problem? Or sb. updated their L-01 Nova to Nougat and can share a working firmware.

be careful with Huawei firmware finder...a lot of people who updated via those update files ended with problems...better wait for official OTA
Please could someone post a simple step by step guide to root my new M3. I have rooted many nexus devices, but the huawei seems much more complicated.
