I would recommend this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tomer.alwayson for always on feature. I works great on op5 imho and... really ... who wants a Samsung rom on his op5 just for that feature?
You know samsung rom is the worst rom from OEM..?
Just to get that feature? Try searching on Google Play or flash a custom ROM

Or am I just missing it? I can't find a vanilla ROM anywhere.
I am wanting to use xposed with no interference, but all the ROMs I've found have the same things

PA is pretty vanilla at this point and is stable, all builds are supported in the original development section hope this helps
Xposed really slows things down. Wouldnt recommend it

Any 4.4 ROMs with knock off built in that are stable? Really looking for nav bar cursers too.
I was spoiled coming from the Gnex ROM scene, and my wife's Nexus 5.
I haven't had xposed problems, but what slow down are you talking about? Open to listening.
There are plenty of roms, aospa,cm11, aosp variants...
If you ever have a chance, compare two same phones one with and one without xposed. You will see xposed adds almost a second slowdown when opening/loading apps

No.
It seems like there is no developer who is interested in this phone. I am waiting for Lollipop.
I guess so bro. I got this phone last week seems a good one. However, a taste of lollipop would be good!

Are you cursed? Kinda. That oem is terrible for development. Even when they release the kernel source, it is broken so many roms have issues. They do it in purpose to get you to use miui. Had you asked any developer they would have told you to stay away from them.
Cyanogenmod 11S based on android 4.4.4 for Redmi 2
This is the best ROM I've tried for Redmi 2 so far. I tried MIUI and crDroid before this one. It's the first time my device's been so responsive, fast and smooth.
I would love to post it as a thread, but I can't. (new user :/)
http://en.miui.com/thread-124543-1-1.html
buy redmi 2 enchanced edition with RAM 2GB...
i using redmi 2 1GB of RAM... and everyone knows MIUI is f*cking bad at 1GB RAM.
Hey guys I'm looking for an AOSP-based ROM, but not Exodus. I genuinely enjoy Exodus, but it updates too frequently, I want something with a "stable" branch, something that won't update daily, and preferably fairly minimal. And please don't give me that "you don't have to update" line.
You really don't have to update ?
Sent from my ONE A2001 using XDA-Developers mobile app
You don't, I do. kind of OCD about that. Anyway, that was specifically not a viable answer, as determined by the constraints of the posed question, so please do not.

Yes luck seems not to be what we are having sadly. The onyl real reason I would prefer it though is Layers. I can't think of any other noticeable differences.
Maybe you should focus on treating your OCD. You really do not need to flash.
That costs hundreds of dollars, and it is rather mild, with only specific things that seem to affect it, mostly technology-related.

I'm looking at it, but their G+ is terribly laid out and I can't find any main website for them, so I'll ask you. Are the FP and LAF working? And where can I find install instructions?
EDIT: I installed it, it ran like a trick, but the security menu crashed settings invariably, and as such I couldn't set any form of lock on my phone, which is a MAJOR issue.

When security settings crash that is 100% caused by flashing the wrong modem/firmware flash the other one (of the 2 available) one of them WILL work FP and LAF are FULLY FUNCTIONAL

I have no clue. I don't think you need to grant access. That app used to be bundled with Samsung. So I don't distrust them. I do like it more then the stock LG version. I just hate the ads. Never used to be like that on the S5. The ads "could" be useful to some. It shows when good boxing matches will be on, ect.

Yea.... great... There's tons of awesome ROMs here now thanks to Bungeejumper and Dankie001 (the person you just replied to).
And they all have something called 'Bug lists'. Go and check them all out, no other way around this... there's no 'Best ROM'. It's all dependent on the person.
For me motion rom rom is the best no bugs...great in gaming... There are many motion rom based eg.: motion rom, lucky project, noble rom and etc... you can also try the new rom there which is 7.1.2 thats also awesome but i prefer motion rom
