Its not happening for me, you need to flash using odin using normal CSC and NOT the HOME CSC, after flashing wipe cache and factory reset.

I have a G930F, so it's the flat screen model but i'm having exactly the same issue.
Flashed BTU CSC, not CSC home. let it boot, went into recovery, wiped. WiFi still has issues even after a clean flash. The ! symbol sometimes appears and I lose access to the internet until i turn it off and on again.

The same thing is happening to my S7e and I updated it the same way as you. It's a pain in the arse and I'm considering rolling back to Nougat.

Yesterday was a really pain to call Uber, since the 4G symbol was there, but the internet was really really slow/sometime now working.
i wasnt having those bugs on android 7 =/.
The funny fact is im from Brazil (ZTO), and i received this Android 8 update... Using S7 edge SM G 935F

I don't know as I haven't looked into it yet. All I know is Oreo repartitions the internal memory so I don't know whether rolling back will undo this (probably not)

Hi,
My S7e has just upgraded to 8.0.0 and is now having the same wifi lag issue. Did you manage to find a fix?
Thanks
Ady
I tried a different kernel and now both my.wifi and Bluetooth are working like a charm. Before on Oreo my wifi switch went completely gray and in order to get the Bluetooth to work , Everytime I had to do a network reset. But now it's working great.
I had another issue, my security was pattern unlock and it would take a minute for it to unlock and sometimes in between the screen would turn off, that problem also got solved with the kernel .

You do not have the same issue as us and as far as I'm aware a kernel swap would mean our devices had to be routed.

Last week Sprint extended Wi-Fi calling to the Tri-band (Spark) S4.
I had the software pushed to me this morning, and installed it.
Now I have the Wi-Fi icon in my status bar.
It disappeared when I went out, and re-appeared when I came home and connected to the wi-fi.
I'm guessing that's all I have to know about it?
Does anyone with wi-fi calling experience have any advice or caveats?

I got the update notification this morning, and clicked install, and then the phone rebooted, but into twrp; I then just rebooted back into my sytem, but I don't see anything about wifi calling so I have no idea if I have it or not. I thought it had to be activated on sprint website.
I don't think it installed since you are on a custom recovery. You have to be on stock recovery if not the update will fail.

I just realized the problem and did install the stock recover image file. Guess I have to wait until Sprint decide I'm a good girl and re-send the update. Checking for update doesn't seem to do a thing.

Actually, you can just go to your Settings --> More --> System Update --> Update Samsung Software, and after click on it, you can then redownloaded it again.
I was wondering though, does anyone know what this update file is called, because when I tried to install this, it says, "Rebooting now... - 36.0 MB" but then just sits there, and doesn't do anything. I want to know the name, so I can deleted it and then try downloading it again. A little side note is that I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy S4, and updated it to KitKat. It is now running 4.4.2.
I have recently updated to ale-l21c185b525 from lollipop to try to fix my wifi connection problem, now I want to go back to stock lollipop, I downloaded the stock firmware for my country (Pakistan) that is ALE-L21 V100R001C185B120 but when i try to go back to stock with the dload method (holding all keys to force update) the process fails at 5% on while installling, can someone guide me to go back to stock please? Its taking too much of my time and at this point I am so disappointed in this phone

Okay so my WiFi was perfectly fine when I was using it on lollipop, then one day it stopped working all of sudden, now it turns on but wouldn't detect any networks, this had happened before too where I would see network but kept getting the access denied error while connecting. I waited a few days and it fixed itself.
With my current problem its been like a week and my phone does not detect networks at all so I decided to go to marshmallow and the problem still exists. I did factory resets, wiped cache etc but no luck. So now that I am still having the problem, I was like I should go back to lollipop if that somehow fixed it but I was stuck since I don't have much knowledge on Huawei phones.
Please do help me if you know some kind of fix for this. Thanks in advance.
Hey everyone, just an FYI. Update I haven't seen anywhere for the AT&T s7 Edge...

Can you check which bootloader version it is please. Go into download mode/Odin mode and look for the thing that says either B2 or B3. If it says B2 it's still bootloader 2, if it says B3 it's bootloader 3. Report back ASAP. I would really like to know.

Damn not bootloader 3 that sucks. thanks for checking. On another note im looking at the firmware details but it seems as if the actual firmware didn't update as it still says August. Maybe just a baseband update or a prep for a future update? Sucks though was hoping for a a B3 update. Thanks though

Hmmm not being able to odin back to stock is kinda scary TBH. It kinda sounds like the bootloader tried to upgrade or something since if the bootloader was still B2 it would flash fine.

Correct if your provider doesnt support volte then you're **** outta luck. Just like me. But if you are still having full network drops and the change in modem didnt help then it is probably hardware. I redownloaded 3.5.6 yesterday from oneplus and reflashed and have stayed on that over yesterday last night and today, and so far no full network drops, so if you flashing the modem/firmware from anywhere other that oneplus it may be corrupt and messing up your modem. But this might just be me.

First I update via OTA. When i face this issues i flash (BTU) from sammobile via odin. No not rooted (i have never root my device). And i wiped before and after update. Yes correct modem PLT. The Latest stable build PLT (BTU) and tried (O2C) too but same problem.
Exactly the same problem here with G930F after updating via ODIN to DPLT (BTU Stock without touching anything!!). If I downgrade to 6.0.1 WIFI works again. If I move to AOSP roms based on 7.1.1, it works perfectly.
Am using stock DPLT bootloader, modem, csc. The problem started with ZPL3 beta version.
same exact issue here
G935FD updated to official nougat using odin, wifi no longer works.
if I install beta nougat it works again. any help?

MoKee updated their latest build with latest WIFI drivers provided by Fernando @Fevax. Since Mokee is dedicated to China (which operates similar wifi bands and channels as in Syria) WIFI still works perfectly with new drivers.
Guys i have same problem but when i put my phone in flight mode and turn on wifi it suddenly work ?
Any one can try it
