I wanted to flash stock rom but by mistake I flashed a wrong version of it. I later found the actual version of rom i needed and flashed it. Everything is working fine but I'm not getting network services. Is there a fix for this plz help
How is that being "hardbricked"? When it is "hardbricked" you will have only a flashing led, and not be able to boot into anything, much less be able to flash a rom.

Used to happen to me all the time...
You should install the ROM you have and advanced restore from that ROM's backup [In my case only /data]

The only thing I can think to do is just restore your device to it's original factory settings/ROM as it will restore all the system files and hopefully restore your ability to use Bluetooth, then try rooting you device by using the one click root from towelroot.com, which hasn't caused me any problems what so ever.

Do i n just need to do factory reset or flash original rom?
And towleroot did'nt work for me?. Is' nt there a way where all my data does' nt get lost?
I would do both, first do a factory restore then flash the stock ROM and hopefully it will fix the problem. Towleroot worked for me, but I had to access the site and download the. apk file using my phone and to answer you last question when you flash a custom ROM all your data is erased, so you should backup your information before you, flash a ROM, or do a Factory restore it will make things easier.

I have the i9505, everything is stock. Stock Rom before, everything. I just rooted my phone yesterday.
I meant both. My phone, software, everything is stock. Its as if it came from the box. I can, of course, just re isntall everything but I had SO MANY things.
I am using i9505 CWM Recovery 6.0.3.2
I installed it and reinstalled it using Odin3 v3.09
And yes I did, but i cant get back to it because i cant access CWM.
thank you so much for helping!
I cant help but get freaked out as I LOVED my s4 so much but now its as if i didnt own it.
i give up. i think i'll just reinstall everything back and set everything up again. this gives me the opportunity to clean everything i guess. no custom roms for me. thanks everyone!

Did you uncheck auto-reboot before flashing?
And yes I think a stock rom would be better for you. You shouldn't pannic when something goes wrong. It's almost impossible to brick your s4.

thank you all so much i actually think its better off this way, i only installed the apps i actually used, getting rid of around 50% of my apps. still keeping an eye out for battery life though, and the camera is still unusable.
Hey guys! I am a bit of a noob on installing roms. I have a rooted s4 then I installed cwm. I restored touchwiz first just in case then flashed cm11. I liked touchwiz better so I restored it and its always stuck in a bootloop. I dont really know what information to give you since I'm a noob at this. My phone isn't with me right now but I'll be getting it soon. Also I flashed cm11 again so its usable. I haven't seen any thread that has this problem with the same phone.

The right way, if you want touchwiz back, is this:
go to your recovery, select wipe data. Wipe it and after that restore your backup, than clean cache. This should work fine

I didn't wipe cache, dalvik and other stuff when I did it but I tried restoring after I have cleared dalvik, cache, data and also a factory reset and it still goes into a bootloop.

the lockscreen works but it keeps saying something like user proccess is not responding do you want to close it? then there is wait or ok. I tried to open the camera from the lockscreen and it works. I think the backup is corrupted. Do you think I should flash a rom like touchwiz? if yes, do you know any good ones?

Hi mate ,
you can try to
Clear from recovery dalvik and cache
or Factory reset
Or as you said flash another rom ( full wipe !! )
I like Omega rom...but there are many other out there that are good
A few days ago, I flashed a custom rom and after installing it, I realized that I didn't like it. So, I tried to restore my old rom through twrp(ive made a backup before). But then when the restore is completed and I reboot to system. It got stuck on bootloop.
I've tried wiping the system clean, factory reset.
I don't know how else to do.
Anyone got any idea why? I'd be glad
Rom that I restored is RR rom by tank.
Thanks
