Bluetooth Audio OUTPUT from Joying? - Android Head-Units

This might be a bit strange but I have 2 headunits in my car, and wish to use the Alpine for bluetooth Audio out of the Joying. Currently I have it set up for AUX out but ideally would like to use Bluetooth to link the two. The problem is the Alpine doesn't seem to want to pair with the Joying. I've installed the most recent GTX rom, and bluetooth seems to be working better(Pairing with PS4 controller) but it still won't pair with the Alpine.
It's an Alpine CDE-W265BT and I have the Intel Sofia based Joying.
Does anyone have a clue what might be missing from the bluetooth that would cause it not to pair?
Even if lets say audio out wouldn't work through bluetooth I would still love to be able to use TuneIt from the joying to change the EQ settings on the Alpine, rather than using my phone.

any update regarding this

PDA Bluetooth working with Car Stereos?

I have been searching long and hard to find a working solution to make my PDA work with my car stereos bluetooth, my stereo is able to use both audio bluetooth and headset bluetooth with live info like signal strength, battery and more.
Dose anyone else have trouble with make PDA's work with car stereos?
I have tryed to contact Both phone maker and stereo maker, both tell me it is not campatable due to the type of bluetooth in each are different. The ones in a PDA are the same as the ones in PC, and in regular phones it is a dumb down version and the same goes with car stereos it a dumb down version and the send signals differently.
SO ANYONE FOUND A FIX?
ANYONE WANT A FIX?
Never tryed it
If u guys get it working let me know
I have a At&t Tilt wm6 cell
you could use something like the R35 clip bluetooth and plug that into an auxillary input wired to your car stereo. Then your PDA bluetooth can sync up with the R35 bluetooth thingy and would be input into your car stereo...
i assume you have a BMW tho with built in bluetooth which would not work.
and by different version of bluetooth they probably mean like v1.1 or v1.2. i dunno if that'd make it not work but it is probably a culprit.
I do not have an auxillary input on my car. And as far as the bluetooth they are different chipsets with different ver also.
Has anyone been able to connect to a car stereo. (Aftermarket Stereo)
I have a Pioneer AVIC-D3
I dont have an external solution, i actually have a Head Unit that has BT built in. It is a sony series reciever. WORKS GREAT! i use it everyday. One of the best purchases i made for my POS car.
Seconded -- I have the Sony MEX-5000BT and its BT performance is better than any headset/headphones I've ever used.
Maybe I need to buy a sony, as pioneer knows about its compatability issues and are not releaseing a firmware update to it. Any other stereos out there that work. I have had issues with sony headsets. I am a real big fan of pioneer and this new head unit I have.
I know there must be a way.
There just has to be.
I will find one you just wait and watch.
I Found It!
I have fond the solution and did not even know it.
I have been working with a friends CAB file trying to make it work in a OEM folder install.
I just happend to ask him what the cab file was.
Check it out.

I have already tried it and it works great.
Infact before when I would connect to my stereo with any phone and the phone would ring it would ring the generic tone. With this plugin, it rings the personalized ringtones have for people. This is cool and all for only $15.
Hope this helps out others.

yup, i have the same one. dont know how i lived before i had it.
Also, this unit does allow for ringtone passthrough to you car speakers along with anything else that you can get notifs through BT. The only downside for notifs is that you have to be on the stereo BT function on the radio. Calls will come through reguardless of the function you are using.

Does anyone have a pioneer deh 7900bt?

Hey guys,
Does anyone have experience with this head unit?
I am getting this head unit in the mail and i wanted to know if it works as advertised with the mogul. I want to use it as a BT speakerphone and stream sirius.
Are there any tricks or tips for use with this head unit?
I am REALLY excited about it but I want to be prepared for it in case there are things I need to know.
Thanks guys!
Pioneer Premier DEH-980BT
I have the DEH-980BT (first model with bluetooth). Make sure you pair the pioneer head unit with your phone and after pairing register the phone in the pioneer unit (read the pioneer instructions) if you still have problems change the following registries in your phone
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\SYS\COD
Change to 5898764
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTAGPBModule
Change OEM to \Windows\BthAGPhonebook.dll
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTAGExtModule
Change OEMAGW.DLL to \Windows\vcbthag.dll
You might still have problems setting both hands free and wireless stereo at the same time. I only have only hands free set on my phone and its works great.
I have the DEH-7900BT and it works flawlessly. I have to initiate the pair from the phone in order to get things setup, but once I have paired them the phone auto connects every time I get in the car and both the handsfree and stereo audio work as advertised. AVRCP even works correctly.
speaking of pioneer HU
has anyone tried the OEL screensaver studio appz ?
is there a site of people's creation available on the net ?
i can't find anything about it.
BTW, i have the 980BT unit and its top notch !
wait, so this radio has bluetooth streaming music right??, because i bought the Pioneer DEH 6250 BT and it doesn't have that function so i sold this 6250 to my friend and i was looking for this one 7900 because i thought it would bluetooth streaming music audio
why would one not use a cheap FM transmitter to do the audio to stereo? They charge the phone, use less power, and are like 4$ on amazon?
FM Transmitters SUCK!
1. Audio quality is crap compared to BT2
2. No A2DP support with a FM transmitter (on screen track info on your stereo, track fwd/back control, etc)
3. Noisy interference with other cars, towers etc.

Adding a2dp interface to car

Does anyone know of a product that would allow me to add bluetooth ad2p to my stock car stereo using the aux input?
I ordered two bluetooth receivers from amazon and tested them this weekend. Both sounded good, but neither of them would remember the pairing information or try to aggressively reconnect like the newer car stereos with ad2p support do.
Anyone using a device like this? I have spent the last week researching and I still have found nothing.

How to connect Sony Walkman (NW-A55L) with Pumpkin Radio (ND1071B)

Hello,
I bought an Android radio for my car. It is an Android 8 from Pumpkin the Model ND1071B. It works fine so far, only the FM connection is not how I like it but that's more of an hardware issue I think.
At the moment I want to cennect my Sony Walkman with the radio via Bluetooth to play the music that I have on it. But I can not find a way to get it working. When I search via the radios Bluetooth menu for the Walkman, it does find it.
When I search via the Walkman for the Radio I find it and it does connect but I get no response from the radio.
Do I need an update or an other App?
Thanks for any Help
Max
You most likely won't be able to bluetooth it. The bluetooth ability on these machines is pretty much restricted to phones and basic obd2 adapters. There hasn't ever been much success in connecting anything beyond that.
If your walkman has a wired earphone output jack then probably the best way is a hard wire connection between the earphone jack and the aux av input on your pumpkin.
Interesting, I thought Bluetooth is somewhat universal.
Is that a software problem or a hardware issue?
PS: I once got it working I connected my Walkman and the sound was played at my radio. I never got it working again.

Head unit with fully working bluetooth?

Does anyone have an recommendations on an double din android based head unit that has a fully working bluetooth module? Something that can pair with and control an Alpine PXE-0850S amplifier. Does such a head unit exist?
Thanks
I would also like to know if such a product exist.
With new headunits including plenty of memory, storage, fast a75 cores and 4g -but high noise floor and only 2 slow usb ports+crippled BT is such as letdown :-(
I noticed the Atoto units have two bluetooth modules and support bluetooth tethering. Any chance those will pair with generic devices?
Well, I answered my own question by buying an Atoto S8 and trying it out. The second bluetooth module seems to be a normal fully working module and does pair with the Alpine amp and allows the amp settings to be configured using the Alpine app. However, since the amp also supports bluetooth streaming, whenever the head unit connects to the amp over bluetooth it routes audio output from music apps (but not the radio) via the bluetooth connection (instead of spdif), bypassing the head unit volume controls. So whenever I want to change the amp configuration I have to pair it with the head unit, run the Alpine app, make the changes, and then unpair the amp. Grrrr.....
