The sexiest design by LG on any angle. There's an oomph factor on G7's appearance because mine is Platinum Grey. If mine was Raspberry pink or Moroccan Blue, it'll be mind blowing. I still love Platinum Grey under the bright sun.
Not bad, no camera bump, frame in metal and panels in glass, I think it's what you'd expect from a phone these days. But not a fan with the notch.

The phone looks really good with the metal body. The metal strips around the edges add to the premium look. Camera also stands out. Looks pleasing overall.
The phone has a premium feel to it because of its full metal construction, placement of fingerprint scanner is really useful when on a table, but the phone is a bit slippery and can easily get out of your hands, overall a great build :good:

I rate it a 3 on looks. Pretty average phone. Better than the XL with its cut-out on the screen. It is just kind of a chunky box with a bit much bezel. But looks is not what we are buying this phone for, but rather the software experience. I would have bought an S9 if it had an un-modified Google experience available. Definitely a phone that needs a nice case to help it out.

Plastic back feels decent and gathers prints easily. Curved edges of the display help the chunkiness feel more svelte. Good size for larger hands. The notch doesn't intrude much.
This device feels less slippery than other devices with glass or plastic back, despite no texture.
I'm very happy with the aesthetics.

its an attractive phone, the 2nd screen case isnt doing any favors...
Wish it had a chin and fingerprint reader home button like my last 2 cells... the under screen is not great. worked with my index 90% but my thumb only reads 10%
Love the lack of camera bump. Actually it's so clean and smooth that the phone slides on a smooth surface without a case or dual screen case on.
Like tapin4par, I love the lack of camera bump. There probably some trade-off with picture quality but the camera quality good enough for me.
Don't like how it reminds me too much of the iPhone. I wish phone design go back to the more angular look. Soft edges is fine but don't add curve to the corners. This is especially true for the display. I really do not like how the display has rounded corners.

The waterfall display, as they're calling it, provides the Edge with a... cutting edge look. While most might not care for the direction Moto went in, I applaud them for experimenting. It's that cool in person.
Outside of its large panel, solar black is a safe yet attractive color. And thankfully the back isn't glass. I say that as I don't want another area that's vulnerable to cracking!
Overall the Edge's build quality if perfectly fine. If I didn't know better I'd say it retailed for $800.
The phone is gawgeous.
